The house was in a great location right on the beach. Very easy to access and within walking distance to a little general store.

We had a wonderful time and Chris was very responsive to any questions. The A/C stopped working and he had someone out to fix it the same day. Thanks for a great week!

We rented Chris’ home for our wedding weekend. Upon entering the home, you are greeted by the ocean in the backyard- what could be better? Plenty of space for the bridal party, family & friends. Chris was a breeze to communicate with & went out of his way to accommodate our special weekend. Perhaps we’ll be back next year for our first anniversary- thank you Chris!

Comfortable, roomy and relaxing. Chris was wonderful ..beginning with us having to change our date right after we booked to keeping us updated when there was a hurricane forecasted shortly after our arrival (on our changed date). Communication was excellent beginning to end. House was clean and comfy and well stocked with supplies (paper towels, t.p. cleaners, trash bags etc.). Nice deck (front and back). People watch (front deck) or stare at the ocean (back deck)! Great location, close to restaurants and of course the ocean. Don't want to go out? Kitchen is is equipped for you to cook up your own meal or use the outdoor grill. Overall wonderful vacation house and host!

It was very roomy and clean not hard to get a hold of owner always got right back to me. Over all a very nice place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed with my family and my sister and her family . It was one of our best vacations! We just hung out at the beach and on deck . Barely drive anywhere. I would highly recommend this house . Chris was very informative and on top of everything.

This is a beautiful place right on the water. You can sit out on the deck, sand below the deck or steps right down to the ocean level sand at high or low tide. Great for swimming, paddle boarding (we brought ours) and kayaking (one supplied by the house). Easy walk to the lighthouse and short ride or walk into downtown. We were there at a first Friday with luminaria along the seawall and lighted boat parade- great sense of community. It is quiet yet close to a sweet downtown and easy 10 minute drive to larger grocery stores. Open kitchen/living area that opens on to ocean side deck makes for great gatherings at meals. Chris (owner) was very responsive to questions. Thank you!

This house is set up perfectly for a family gathering on the beach. It is walking distance to town and the water is gorgeous. At low tide the tide pools are great for kids (and adults) to explore. Would definitely consider going back.

Great location on the beach. Easy walk to Lighthouse and Town .Plenty of space for our family group of 8 adults and 2 children, Chris was very responsive to my questions pre trip. There were no issues with the house. Great deck with table and plenty of chairs. Great grill! We all had a great time!

Great place to stay, so beautiful. Walk to places if you need anything. If the weather isn’t great, you still have a beautiful view of the ocean and can hear those waves. The deck is so nice, has a gate so it’s safe for kids.

We had a blast at Chris’s beachfront home. The location is pretty hard to beat. Right on the ocean and so close to the Scituate Lighthouse, it was amazing to just relax and explore!

This home is super clean and updated and well-appointed inside. The ocean view cannot be topped. Winter weather commands the use of windshield type window coverings but even so, side windows were clear and the ocean was beautifully visible from almost every room. Check in was so easy! No keys to hassle with. Loved that. Access was tricky during our stay due to deep sand drifts to walk through covering the driveway and parking areas leading to the stairs to second floor entry door. I’m not gonna lie, that was a tough beginning for my 84 year old mom and I with luggage. But...once we got in it was absolutely relaxing. No need to come and go a lot in March anyway. 12 people sleeping there? Yes, possible but depends on who needs to sleep with whom. Ha. For our group of 8, the sleeping and social accommodations were perfect. The weather was amazing for March so we were glad we brought lawn chairs for the huge deck. On the last day we were treated to a winter wind storm. The house felt solid as a rock right on the water amidst the howling winds. We felt cozy inside. Lots of helpful amenities like counter space, big fridge, fans and small appliances, dishes, baking pans, grocerette close by, etc. A summer visit here would be even more amazing. Nice area for walks long and short. We enjoyed our stay very much and were so grateful our toddler grandson was welcomed. His first beach vacation was a huge success. Many thanks to our host, Chris.

The property was in the perfect location! It was a girls /moms weekend. The home is just beautiful and in a spectacular area. The views from the house are amazing and even on a cold weather weekend it is still superb. You can't get enough of watching the sea. Even though the front windows are protected for the season with clear coverings the sound of the water is mesmerizing. We were able to sit on the deck on the sunny days and it was just gorgeous. A little deli/coffee shop is steps away. Everything was just perfect and Chris the host was available at anytime if we needed anything. The home shows pride of ownership and is so well kept and designed. We look forward to another get away. We highly recommend this cottage by the sea I. Scituate!!!

We wanted to go somewhere safe for New Years and not have to sit at home. This is a perfect place. We went with another couple and celebrated the new year together. The house has everything you would need and more. The check in and out process and communicating with Chris was so easy and Chris is very responsive. Highly suggest renting this house.

The house was beautiful and you can't get a better location in Scituate. Check in was seemless and the host are kind and kept us up to date every step of the way. We were even allowed to check in early! You won't be disappointed staying here.

Perfect sea-side location for a relaxing family vacation within walking distance to the lighthouse and downtown harbor. The house was immaculate with plenty of space for family gatherings. This could not have been a better host.

We had a lovely stay in Scituate! The house was exactly as advertised and was perfect for our "corona-cation.” The morning coffee views from the front deck were spectacular. It was easy to get into town, walk to the lighthouse, and travel around the area. And the breakfast sandwiches at the General Store down the street were pretty great as well! Others have commented about the state of the appliances but all seemed fine to us. Quick note though, we missed that the master bedroom bed is a King Size bed so just be sure to bring sheets that fit (we hadn’t). Also keep in mind that it’s a low-tide beach in front of the house so you will just need to plan the tides accordingly. All in all, a great week!

The house was exactly as expected from the description and photos! Chris answers so fast when i had a question. We even forgot an Apple TV - didn’t realize it- and he was honest And messaged me and is sending it back! We would stay again!

The house location is perfect - right on the ocean and beach, a mile from charming Scituate Harbor and down the street from the picturesque lighthouse. The house is well appointed and clean. The very spacious master bedroom is wonderful with beautiful views of the ocean. We biked and walked a lot around the area, and used the house’s kayak and borrowed some paddle boards to use off the beach. While we did visit a few other beaches in the area, we spent several days at the house enjoying the beach and boating activities there. Sitting on the spacious deck enjoying the beautiful sunrise and sunsets was amazing. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would love to stay again!
