Close access to Blenheim

The property is on a main road although there is close access to the park. It is small and quite shabby. The bathroom is barely adequate with a lethal bath.

Location

No parking, and guidance provided is all permit now so had to park in the all day car park for 12 hours

Lovely cottage with very bright and comfortable conservatory and garden Excellent location in Woodstock with very close access to Blenheim park. Well equipped kitchen, great WiFi and smart tv

Parking in Woodstock is a little bit stressful.

The location was perfect for Blenheim palace and Woodstock itself ,

Gefallen hat vor allem die zentrale Lage, die Aussicht auf den Blenheim Palace Park vom Wintergarten aus und das Willkommenspaket mit Brot, Butter, Milch, Marmelade, Kaffee und Tee. Das Cottage war cosy and warmhearted welcome. Wirklich schön für das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Amüsant sind hier und da die tropfenden Wasserhähne, die man aber nicht hört, weil oben geschlafen wird. Ein kleines Abenteuer ist das Aufschließen des Wintergartens. Es hat geklappt und war alles ok.

Lack of parking. Had to get up before 8am to move car. 5mins walk was uphill along a busy road. Bedding was cheap. Run down property Tap dripping, settee was basic, knife was broken on top, when I went the open the built in oven door the whole oven pulled out. To access the bathroom you had to go through a glass conservatory which has no blinds. One of main walkways to Blenheim was just over the wall making it not good in the evening when you need the light to walk through the conservatory to get to the bathroom ( which was a long way from the bedrooms) This is the most disappointing property we have used and are surprised that you haven't picked this up. Having used booking site many times but will have to rethink. Not suitable for any unable guests at all and not a restful environment as no luxury touches apart from Blenheim on the door step.

Lovely setting. Garden great for relaxing. Cottage was cosy & had everything we needed for our stay.

Parking - though that is caused by the popularity of the area. Once we found a parking spot ( the next day) the car was not moved since unlikely to regain the parking.
