Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Vince and Sarah's cabin/house on Nelson Lake! House worked very well for our 3 families. House was clean and well stocked for our stay. We also rented the pontoon boat which was nice. It's always nice to rent boat from owner versus separate business. Fire pit, swings, and catching fish from the dock were added bonuses for our families. Spiral staircase was an initial concern with our 3 young grandchildren, but we blocked off the stairs and it all worked out. Definitely would rent again from Vince and Sarah!

This cozy cabin with a private dock was the perfect stay! There was plenty of room for 10 adults and 2 kids. There is a nice fire pit to end the night around. Town isn't too far away incase you forget something but far enough away that you're on vacation at a cabin! And the driveway was big enough for utv trailers to turn around in and park the boat trailers. The hosts were wonderful and made payments easy and communicating a breeze! I plan to be back this winter or next summer!

Our family stayed here for a week, 8 adults and 2 toddlers, oh, and 3 dogs!!! We had a wonderful time, we had plenty of space, the cabin is stocked with everything you could imagine, very clean, and the beauty of the lake when you are sitting on the deck!!! wonderful!!! we loved it here, we would go back in a heart beat!!! thank you Vince for the great hospitality, and sharing this wonder getaway with us!!!!

Our annual trip up north was once again a good time. Nice, extremely clean cabin on Nelson Lake provided a convenient spot for our smaller group this year.

Our group of 11, plus a dog, had a fantastic week at the cabin. Location was great. Beds were extremely comfortable!

Myself and 5 of my brothers stayed here for an ice fishing trip. The cabin was perfect for our trip! Plenty of beds and lots of space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped for a evening fish fry and social gathering around the dining table. Our host, Vince, was great. He checked in often and was very accommodating! If you’re looking for a great place to stay, this is it! Looking forward to coming back again!…..

What an amazing week at this cabin! Let me start by saying the fishing is awesome! My teenage son caught a 33" northern, a memory that he will never forget. Not to mention several other good size ones! My young niece and nephew caught dozens of panfish with minnow or worm and bobber. Crappie were nice size and we had plenty to make a large meal with. Every trip out, we managed to find fish. Fun for all! But let me tell you about the cabin... AWESOME! Every amenity you can think of. We had plenty of comfy bed space for ten with room to spare. The open kitchen/living room was such a warm and inviting place to gather. Two docks for boating. My niece and nephew used the little swimming beach everyday. Large firepit area for all of us. My husband loved cooking on the Blackstone flat top grill! I think we used it almost every meal. Vince is right that we will be purchasing our own now that we have used it. Also every single kitchen utensil, crockpot, fans, fishing supplies, you name it... this was the most stocked cabin we have rented, so don't worry if you forget something. Trust me, it is there. And speaking of Vince, he was one of the best hosts I have EVER stayed with! He made us feel like his home was ours for the week. We felt so welcome and would love to come stay again! If I could give more than five stars, I would!

My family, 8 adults, three kids and 3 dogs stayed at this beautiful property for 4 nights, 5 days. To say that we were impressed is an understatement. The view from the cabin is immaculate, and the cabinbis stocked for everything you need! The pontoon worked like a dream and was used at least 3 times a day. Morning fishing afternoon swimming and night fishing! The whole family caught a ton of fish! The dogs swam all day! Brought the 4 wheelers as well and the trails were amazing! Time flew because of all the fun had! You will not be disappointed with this clean, stocked cabin, and Vince the owner was so easy to work with! He was always a call away, and very friendly! Overall, an experience the while family will never forget!

A nice clean cabin with comfortable beds and fully stocked with everything you need. Everyone really enjoyed fishing and jet skiing out on the lake. The town of Hayward is close by for groceries or restaurants. Vince was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any of our questions.

We had a fantastic week!! The owners were incredible, answered all questions and help in any way. The cabin was very clean and it was hot and muggy thankfully there was AC. Beautiful lake and good fishing coming back next year.

This was the perfect spot for my family! Love the location on the lake and in the woods. There is plenty of space between the homes on the lake to offer some seclusion and privacy. The house has tons of space and everything you need to cook any meals. My teenage kids loved it too! They swam, took the canoe out on the water, hung hammocks from the trees and finished the day in the sauna! We loved the town of Hayward too! Plenty of shops and restaurants to get your retail fix! We loved taking the boat to the restaurants on the lake for a drink or meal. My favorite thing was to start the morning with a cup of coffee on the deck and hearing nothing but the lake, breeze through the trees and an occasional call of a loon! The owner was great at communicating with us whenever we had a question, including some good fishing spots! I am trying to get a group of friends to go back there soon! Highly recommend this house/cabin!!!!

This was such a wonderful place to be! We loved this cabin and could see the love the owners have for it. There was a small beach next to the dock and my youngest son loved it!!! My oldest loved fishing off the dock, catching a handful of them right away! We brought our fishing boat and it was so awesome to be able to keep it at the dock. The fire pit was great and the swings made for entertainment to my boys. My boys didn't want to go home and that included my husband. Truth is we all wanted to stay!! We will be back!

Vince was very nice answered any questions we had. This a very nice cabin on the lake with a pontoon to rent as well. The kids love swimming fishing and boating. would recommend this this place lots of room for a family.

This property was everything we expected and more! We had 3 families stay for Memorial Day weekend. There was plenty of room for kids and adults. The bunk house was great for the kids. Vince was great to work with. He was very accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. The house was clean and comfy!! And had everything we needed for our stay. The ATV trails were close by which was fantastic! Would highly recommend this property to others!

A beautiful retreat to get away from it all and relax with family. The cabin is clean, cozy and has all you need for fun, from games, movies, hiking and a sauna to take care of the chill after a hike on the lake. Thanks again for the great get away retreat and particularly for allowing pets.

This lake home has everything you would want for a summer vacation. You can tell it has been used and loved by its owner as it feels like home. We had a wonderful time. The fishing was very good and there were ample things to do to keep us busy for a week.
