Great place for a family vacation. All your needs were provided in their lovely cabin as well as the outdoor things to have fun.

This property has thought about everything one needs for the lake place. From kids toys to canoe and kayaks, there is plenty of fun to be had. It even had a safety gate on the deck that could be pulled across the opening to the stairs for our toddler to safely hang out on the deck with the adults. The lakefront, dock and fire pit area are awesome as we had many fires and s’mores. Creating family memories are precious and priceless and this was the place for that. Will definitely return!!

Best place we have ever stayed in our 15 years of Hayward vacations. The home was spotless and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. The view from the house is breathtaking. Perfect layout for our family to be together. The exterior was well maintained. Easy access to the lake. Beautiful yard. The new dock with a swim ladder is a big plus. The outdoor furniture was clean and comfortable. The lake was quiet, just a few fishing boats. We saw deer, loons, and even a pair of otters. Great location for swimming, kayaking or just floating off the dock. Simply THE best. We had a great time.

Enjoyed our stay on Nelson Lake. House was very clean, had all the necessary amenities for our weeks stay. Our granddaughter loved the sand box next to the lake the adults enjoyed the ping pong table, kayaks, bean bag game, and fire pit right on the water.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Willies! The lake home is beautiful; it had everything we needed and more! House is clean and supplies are extremely well stocked - absolutely nothing was lacking. The kid's toys, life jackets and lake toys were great to have for the children in our family. The property is well thought out for maximum comfort and enjoyment. This visit was our second time staying at Willies and it will not be our last! It was impossible to be bored at this house. We had family members ranging from age 1 - 50. We were looking for a house where we could swim right off the dock. This house was perfect for that! Along with being able to swim, we used the hammock, lily pad, kayaks, paddle boat, and canoe. We were able to catch many fish right off the dock! Inside there was a ping pong table, cards, and a room full of board games, kids’ toys, and yard games. The host was easy to work with and we were even left a gift basket. The house was clean inside and out. We couldn’t have imagined a better location for our family vacation this year!

We loved everything about this property! From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The house was stocked with everything we could want. We spent a lot of time on the deck and the kids loved the ping pong table! We had a wonderful time and plan to go back!

This property worked great for our snowmobile trip…

This is the second year in a row staying at this property and it did not disappoint! Our host Andrea continues to impress us with responsiveness, attention to detail and ensuring we have a great stay. The property has everything you need to stay in, but it’s also located on the snowmobile trail so great for us to ride directly out of the property. We had 8 ladies and had plenty of space. Thanks for another great stay!

A bad winter storm caused widespread power outage in the area. Andrea kept me informed about the situation. After she realized it was not coming back on in time for our stay, she offered me several options. I decided to cancel this trip and was fully refunded. We have stayed here before and will return again. Not only is it a stellar property, but their customer service is second to none.

My wife, 1 yo son and myself went to this beautiful cabin in the Northwoods. The cabin had absolutely everything you could think of. Andrea was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had during our stay. We can not wait to go back!

We truly enjoyed our visit in this wonderful space! Lovely beach, dock, firepit space, large walkout patio, upper level deck area with comfy adirondack chairs. Living room has large patio doors that let the light & amazing view in. We will be returning!

This property was pristine upon entry. The cabin has a beautiful setting, with an awesome view of Nelson Lake. We loved that we could enjoy the view from inside, on the deck, by the fire-pit, or on the dock. The cabin had comfortable beds, all of the needed cooking utensils/kitchen appliances, and some really unique and fun games. Andrea communicated quickly during booking. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this one is definitely on the top of our list. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

We have vacationed to the Hayward area for many years now. Nelson lake was new to us but we enjoyed exploring the lake and the cabin. It was cozy, clean, decorated beautifully and set up wonderfully for a family. Would highly recommend 👌

This was our second year at Willie’s! We absolutely love it. Nelson Lake is beautiful and calm. We love watching the ducks and Loons. We had a great time fishing off the dock, kayaking , paddle boating and using the fire pit. The house is extremely clean and has everything you will need. Andrea is great to communicate with and provides ideas for the group to enjoy.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Willie's on Nelson. The house exceptional, Andrea an excellent communicator and Nelson Lake beautiful! Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I cannot rave enough about this property. It was beautiful, clean, had EVERYTHING you could ever need and more. Beds were comfortable (if you like plush, as we do), there were extra cozy blankets, plenty of towels and pillows. Kitchen was fully stocked and we could not believe the selection of kids toys and movies (for rainy days and quiet time) as well as the outdoor fun items. The floating pad was a huge hit we wished we got it out sooner. We loved the paddle boat too. Dock setup was great for two boats even. The views were the most beautiful we have ever experienced on this lake (we’ve been all over the last 20 years) and the loons loved our little bay. For a group our size fridge space was just a little tight! (We like to eat.) A drink fridge in the basement would be an awesome addition as well as a fish cleaning area if you plan to fish 3x a day like us. Very minor though and we made it work easily! All in all this was an amazing trip and we hope to make Willie’s our new yearly spot. Please let us know if it’s ever for sale! 🥰 Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Perfect lakefront vacation home!! Plenty of room for larger groups- well stocked with necessities—and extras like ping pong table- kayaks- games- etc!!! Great location on lake— Great communication with Andrea Highly recommend!!!!!

We were a group of 4 guys up for a fishing trip and other activities. The weather wasnt great but good enough for us to get out on the lake 3 different days. The house is very nice and would highly recommend. The only issue that came up was handled as quickly as possible by Andrea.

This is a fantastic cabin located near Hayward with easy access to the Camba and Birkie trail systems. The property is well taken care of and very cozy. Would 100% stay here again and recommend to others.

The perfect basecamp for birkie week. This place was super clean, setup beautifully, and offered great access to Nelson lake. Loved the fireplace and ping pong table. The additional room in the basement for waxing skis was such a bonus! Andrea was super responsive and helpful. Hope to be back in the future.
