We were so worried about getting fined or having to pay for things left in the trash and fridge. We didn’t get to enjoy our time, because we were too worried about the rules. We even picked marshmallows up off the ground, because we were worried we’d get charged for that. Bring your own towels, if you take theirs outside it’s 10 dollars per towel. More like a prison camp

Great property and location for a family/friend group vacation. Cabins are clean and well stocked. Beach area for sand and water fun, with kayaks and paddle boards available. Multiple fire pits for evening campfires. The owners are super friendly and helpful!

The cabin was extremely clean, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils/cooking ware and had new appliances, the beds were comfortable and we slept well. It was a cozy cabin and the owners have done a remarkable job of efficiently organizing the space. Additionally, the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Cabin 4. For reference, we were three adults. Note: If you want a scenic view while using the firepit/picnic table for your cabin you want to select a cabin closer to the lake. There is a firepit on the beach but it is reserved for the house occupants when present.

We loved our stay at this property! I met the owner, Jeff, on arrival - he was very friendly and welcoming. The cabin itself was clean and fully stocked with everything we could’ve asked for. It even has air conditioning, which we were grateful for because it was a little humid during our stay. We will definitely be back!

This is our first time staying at his cabin. It was absolutely perfect! It was both clean and accommodating. My kids fished all day every day, and it truly was a great experience. We will definitely come back!

This was a perfect fit for our large family. The cabins were clean and equipped with whatever we needed. We loved the view of Fife Lake. The beach area was nice and private with a variety of paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy. Beautiful weather and camp fires at night!

We were in town for an athletic event and this served as a great and economical place to stay the weekend.

Was instantly greeted when we arrived and told about the property including free use of kayaks and beach area! The owners were very nice and welcoming. It was a perfect stay on the lake!

Loved this place! The cabin, the lake, the grounds and the owners - all were wonderful. Clean, great beds, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels - we loved it!

Jeff and Beckey's property was perfect for our family reunion. We rented the house and all of the cabins and each family had their own space - it was perfect. The house and cabins have everything you need and everything was spotless! We spent lots of time swimming in the lake, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The little kids had fun playing in the beach and shallow water area. The outside area around the cabins was perfect for eating meals together, outdoor movie night, 80's night, and talking around the fire pit. We ventured into Traverse City and visited the Sleeping Bear Dunes national park. We highly recommend this property!

Did not stay the entirety of our trip for a multitude of reasons.

The cabins are tiny, but you can tell that these are older buildings that have recently been upgraded. The tiles are new, the dishes are clean, the towels are fluffy. So even though it's a very woodsy, small cabin, you are very comfortable the whole time! And the management was very kind when we struggled with our fire. Top notch!

Great cabin and everything was detailed-how to get to the cabin, where to park, the limits, the rules, and how to check out. they had things to do in the area. They were around if you needed something, but was in the background. My kids left their shoes under the bed and they are sending them to us. Loved the kayaks and paddleboards. My kids enjoyed riding the boats. They had a grilling station and camp fire pit for each cabin. The wifi was awesome at every point of the property.

The experience was everything I anticipated. Nice weather, relaxing weekend, fall colors, nice area and people. Lake Cabins Resort was exactly as portrayed on their website. Great location, amenities, clean and no worries. Jeff was there onsite to assist when any needs, questions or recommendations. Definitely will be returning next year.

Cabins are full of necessities, even down to a lighter and firestarter a. Wonderful they have air and heat. We felt like we were right at home in this trip. Jeff is a great hospitable host!

We were greeted by the owner upon arriving. We completed some paperwork and he gave us a tour of the property. He also directed us to the public access to put our boat in the water so we could dock it in front of the resort area. The beach was clean and it was super kid friendly. We never worried when our young teen was on the dock fishing. While we brought our own boat there is boat rental available. The cottages are super cute and once you are settled in you start to relax right away. Thanks Jeff and Becky for allowing us to enjoy your resort and assisting us in an awesome vacation!

Overall we had a terrific time during our short stay at Fife Lake. We enjoyed the kayaking and Paddle Boards that were on the property.

This little cabin was perfect for our anniversary get-away! Really close to Traverse City, but remote enough to escape traffic and crowds. We loved it. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed for cooking in, and had plenty of linens and fresh towels. Also SUPER clean. We couldn't have been more comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay!
