We absolutely love the Kamaole Sands resort! Great location, great pool, hot tubs, grounds, bbq’s, and more! This unit was perfect for the 4 of us adults. The kitchen was well outfitted, there was plenty of beach gear, and was A/C worked perfectly and was a great blessing.

We loved the condo we stayed at. It had extra items to be able to take to the beach and things you wouldn’t want to pack with you (beach chairs, pool noodles, sand toys, tennis rackets, etc). We had 4 adults and 2 kids and we all fit comfortably. The twin beds may not have been as comfortable, but the king bed was very comfortable to sleep in. We stayed 10 days and didn’t want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was stocked with everything we needed. It was great to have beach supplies with chairs and a cooler! The condo was clean and check in was a breeze. My kids enjoyed the pool. We only went to the lagoon pool closest to the condo, we only wished it opened earlier and stayed open a bit later to use the hot tub in the evenings. It is one of the farther condos in the complex, so if you have kids it can be a task to walk to the beach—but we did do it a few times with a 5yr old and 8yr old. The beds were comfortable and the AC was really nice to have!

I loved the corner condo location, with the side window view to up country. Condo was wonderfully decorated and so comfortable. We loved the big table on the deck. The only thing I would add is string lighting on the deck. (The neighbors had them and it looked so magical!) Appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella also! Loved, loved our stay! Loved the location of condo, being tucked in the corner with the beautiful ferns and palm trees in front of the deck. Great privacy!

It's not the best equipped condo I have rented in Maui. There were no baking dishes for the oven except a cookie sheet and a muffin tin..but, there were at least 6 or 8 spatulas and at least that many frying pans and tons of plastic containers. Also plenty of dishes and glasses. I slept in the primary bedroom (upstairs) the first week and after one night sleeping on 100% polyester sheets I went to Ross and bought a set of 100% cotton sheets. I couldn't sleep, especially in a warm climate, on polyester. All the bedding could use an upgrade. The contour sheets on the twin beds are much too deep for the mattresses and don't stay tucked in. A map of the complex would be helpful, it took us awhile to find the upper pool. Also there were no instructions for anything in the condo. We did have a problem with the TV in the living room, we thought we were just inept, but after Maui Rentals sent someone over we discovered it was a bad remote which she immediately replaced and we had no more issues with the TV. Maui Rentals was very helpful and had someone there within 30 minutes.Tip to anyone who rents this particular condo, start the washing machine when you leave, it is extremely loud and makes some strange noises, but seemed to work fine. The upper pool is really lovely, although it can be crowded at times, with no chairs available. Of course, we were there during winter break for many schools, so it was busy....everywhere! Another tip - make your dinner reservations before you leave home for any of the popular restaurants!

Probably one of the best rentals we have stayed in and we rent fairly often!! Slept 6 of us perfectly was very clean and just beautiful area not to far from most things!! Would highly recommend!!

The place was very nice. Very clean and quiet at night. They also had beach and pool equipment in the storage closet which was nice. Tennis court and pool was nice as well.

This unit worked well for our stay. It is well appointed, kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. The condo was clean and had lots of space for everyone. One thing about the property in general - there are a lot of units. It is surprising that they just have 2 pools. In the afternoon, both pool areas could get very busy making it impossible to find a spot to sit. The pool closes at 8:45 PM. That seems very early for a family complex.

This unit met our needs, its quiet and comfortable in a prime location,. Grocery, beaches, and restaurants nearby. There are two pools on the property, and several grilling locations. Would recommend!

We loved the location, cleanliness, and ease of check-in process with this property. Everything we needed was provided and communication with the property manager was excellent. We left some items behind and they promptly offered to ship them back to us.

Great stay at a location right across the beach and everything was clean.

We had a fabulous stay. Easy entry with the pin pad, everything was as stated(besides no beach umbrella and one boogie board was broken). Well stocked. We really appreciated all the beach towels(prob 8-10?). In the closet off the main balcony was tons of beach items(snorkel gear, boogie boards(3 good ones), cornhole, noodles(5-7), inflatable inter tube, swim belts, tennis rackets & balls, 4-5 tommy banana beach chairs. The king bed was a little firm and could probably use a topper but the pull out couch bed and the twin smaller beds in the bedroom were comfy. Chairs and table on the patio balcony out back. There were seasonings, silverware, Tupperware, pots and pans, glass bakeware, cutting boards, pizza cutter, basic kitchen utensils, etc. the kitchen was overall very well stocked and we didn’t find ourselves needing to go out and buy anything. The AC units and fans work very well and kept the rooms cool. The lady downstairs didn’t cause us any problems, no notes left on our door, no trouble at all. The guest book had many complaints about her but they were possibly more rowdier guests that were loud. As long as you are respectful and quiet, I think she won’t have any problems with you. There were board games and puzzles, along with 3 TVs(in each room). Overall our stay was very delightful and comfortable. We would highly recommend to stay at this condo! *the bathroom door up stairs needs some WD40, the door was squeaky in the night. The light from the BBQ area shined in the upstairs bedroom the first night and was very bright. The next day I went and adjusted the light which made it better, but maintenance should fix as it was loose and unable to tighten completely.
