If you have pets this is a great place to stay, the owner loves dogs and the business is set up to cater for them. Bed was good, place was quiet, well fitted out and comfortable. We would happily return.

Our wonderful dog friendly cottage was warm, cosy and very comfortable for all three of us. Our host Chris made us feel as though we'd known each other for years. Our old dog Jesse relaxed and settled in straight away. Also, Chris cooks a delicious brekky which is not to be missed. Looking forward to staying again, many times

We were provided everything we needed. Comfy bed and bath, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. It would be a great place for doggy 🐕 lovers.

Ten minute walk to centre of Rutherglen, this beautiful historic former hotel building has two self contained apartments. Each apartment has a private garden which are secure for pets with outdoor BBQ and furniture. Nice touch of having complimentary carafe of muscat, cosy rooms with tea and coffee and a separate sheltered kitchen and eating area for breakfast and meals. The cooked breakfast was delicious.

Lovely stay and lives up to the name "must love dogs". My dog and I were warmly greeted to a "treat" each, me a lovely glass of Muscat and muffin and fresh strawberries and cream and my dog also loved his treats. thanks for the stay!

At time of booking Felicity was in touch to find out if we had any special needs. On arrival she showed us through with clear instructions on how everything worked. A beautiful breakfast was provided, all cooked by Felicity herself. The yard was very surcure for our dog and it was nice to be able to have her inside with us. Would recommend for both a short stay or a good base to explore area from over a few days

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the garden suite which also provided a secure private garden space for our dog to run around in. The accommodation and features were all as advertised in the listing. Our hosts Chris and Charlie were delightful. We had a great and very entertaining wine tour with Charlie. Chris provided us with excellent breakfasts each morning along with helpful tips about where we could go out to eat together with our dog. We loved meeting all their dogs and hearing their stories about each one of them. We had a great time staying here and also enjoyed the decanter of port provided 😊

The property is lovely. Comfortable, very clean and a three minute walk to the town centre.... and Rutherglen is a great base for exploring North-East Victoria. If you have dogs or not, you will have a wonderful stay, but if you do have dogs, I can’t imagine a B&B that would be more welcoming and accommodating of your companions. Chris and Charles are truly charming and delightful hosts. Chris does a delicious full breakfast, and I strongly recommend arranging for Charles to cook you up a dinner in the dining room. Great people and a great stay. We will definitely be staying again.

We loved our 3 night stay! It was great to have our doggie meet Chris’s dogs. So much enjoyed the scrumptious breakfasts and Chris’s warm personality. The muscat decanter was a luxury touch and we sampled quite a bit of the delicious stuff! The wine tour with Chris as our chauffeur was so much fun. I am sure we will be back again.

The hosts Chrisie & Charlie are the loveliest people you will ever meet. They welcome you as if you are long lost friends and by the time you leave, you will certainly feel like you are. These people genuinely love their dogs and will welcome yours. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. We're really looking forward to a return visit. Five stars all the way.

The cottage was beautiful and clean and it was so nice not to have to worry about our dog as she was allowed inside and there was a secure yard for her. Breakfast was not only tasty but it was an experience and it was lovely to meet the other guests and their dogs.

Our stay was very restful. The accommodation is clean and tidy with some ornate furnishings. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are well-appointed. Charlie's breakfasts are memorable, and Chris's tea and coffee delicious. The pets also had a ball.
