This was a lovely house with spacious rooms in a quiet location yet it was easy to walk to restaurants. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy. There was a huge back yard too. The owner was good to communicate with.
Disappointingly for a B&B, the breakfast was only cereal and white bread with spreads.

If there was some grain bread and muesli and fruit we may have had breakfast there.

Dawn had thought of everything one could want or need at this home-away-from-home. it was amongst the best places we’ve stayed at. The beautiful succulent garden was just the icing on the cake. we will definitely detour through Rutherglen again.

Unfortunately we did not spend even one night at the property as the day we arrived Victoria went into state-wide lockdown. We decided to return to Melbourne, given the uncertainty of the length of the restrictions. It was particularly disappointing as we were very impressed with the comfort, furnishings and equipping of the house. We will definitely return when life becomes a little more predictable.

We stayed for a week and toured the wineries and played golf. Excellent location for these activities. Dawn was a very helpful host. The house is very roomy and has all of the conveniences of a typical home. Would heartily recommend it as vacation accommodation.
