Nous étions quatre adultes, et avons profité de la belle vue, d’un endroit chaleureux et des recommandations de Stefy. Nous avons aussi apprécié les sentiers qui nous mènent soit en bas au village ou en haut pour voir le lac de Côme sous différents angles sans compter les visites des villages en bateau .

We arrived late at night to Les Etoiles, after a long journey by plane, boat and train, and were met with the warmest welcome by our hosts, Stefy and Alex. Too tired to do much but find our bedrooms and crash for the night, we woke up to the most spectacular view of Lake Como and the Alps beyond from the balcony of the house. It was like looking at a postcard—absolutely picture perfect. The same magnificent view was ours from the garden and terrace, with Bellagio and the villages across either side of the Lake laid out like jewels below. Although we had a car, we chose to walk into town and back—a pleasant 30 minute walk down through trails and cobble-stones streets, and a steep, climb back up that was rewarded by lovely views of mountains, flowers and Lake. A car is nice to have but a small car is recommended to negotiate narrow streets and access to Les Etoiles, which is tricky at night. We enjoyed being on top of the world and planning which part of the Lake to explore from our vantage point. And it was always a pleasure to return to Les Etoiles after a long day, watching the evening sky change from violet to deep blue, a glass of wine in hand and feeling like we were tasting a bit of heaven. Stefy was always available by phone/text to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed. She and Alex were excellent hosts and helped make our stay at Les Etoiles and Bellagio a truly wonderful experience. Marea from Chevy Chase, MD.

Upon arrival, Stefy (the owner) made us feel so welcome, even supplying us with a lovely hamper full of local goodies. The house has everything you need to make it a home from home. A brand new toilet/shower room had just been fitted and all worked perfectly. The location is wonderful with stunning views over Lake Como and beyond. We loved the house so much we have already re-booked for next year. A massive thank you to Stefy and Alex for helping make our first anniversary trip so special and memorable.

Loved this quaint little house! It had everything we needed- but staying in late October required lots of firewood, so be sure to pick up plenty! The bathroom is tiny, with little to no room for anything but you in it, but I believe they are renovating the bathroom this month. A very small car is recommended to navigate the roads to the house. The views were spectacular and the house was a perfect getaway in the mountains! I would recommend this place!

The views and privacy are to die for!! It’s like having an apartment with no one one either side, plus the yard and garden make everything so comfortable and private. You do need a car up the hill but access to Bellagio and markets is easy... once you find them!

If you are renting a car don't get a large vehicle, we had a Renegade Jeep, as it will be easier with a normal family car. There are a couple of supermarkets in Bellagio so finding supplies was no problem. There are lots of restaurants in Bellagio so there is no problem finding somewhere to eat. From Bellagio you can catch the ferry to all the towns on the lake with lots to see. I would recommend this property to anyone but it is essential you have a car. Das Haus war genau wie wir es im Internet gesehen haben, jedoch viel kleiner als vermutet. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und das separate Zimmer für unsere beiden erwachsenen Söhne war dann doch eher eine Zumutung. Die Betten eng und das Zimmer sehr klein. Hinzu kam, dass das eine Bett bei jeder Drehung zu hören war. Das Badezimmer war auch sehr klein und in der engen Dusche konnte man sich kaum drehen. Der Wasserdruck scheint auch ein Problem zu sein, denn es kam sehr wenig Wasser was fürs Haare waschen nicht so ideal war. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist sehr eng, etwas abenteuerlich und nichts für ungeübte Autofahrer. Uns hat dies jedoch nicht gestört. Für den morgendlichen Weckruf um 6 Uhr früh durch den Hahn aus Nachbars Garten können die Vermieter nicht verantwortlich gemacht werden, aber mit Ausschlafen wird es schwierig. Ansonsten war es aber sehr gemütlich und dank des guten Wetters lebten wir vor allem draussen, wo wir den schönen Garten geniessen konnten. Die Aussicht ist spektakulär und den frühen Morgen und späten Abend auf dem "Sternenbalkon" ein Traum.

Stefy and Alex have worked hard to provide and extremely inviting and comfortable place to experience the extraordinary beauty of Bellagio and Lake Como. The house is situated high on a hillside so the view is wonderful and the little balcony and well appointed patio provide a great place to appreciate the ever changing land and lakescape. The house is very clean and nicely furnished with attention to detail in providing a good espresso machine, granita/ice shaver, popcorn maker, nice, complete kitchen utensils, pretty wine glasses and lots of other things. Due to size probably, there is no oven or dishwasher. The main bedroom is big and the bed is comfortable. The second bedroom is small and most suited for kids. The roosters in the morning provide a little country ambiance but are effectively moderated by closing the shutters. Stefy calls the place L’Etoiles and it is indeed a little sparkler! Be advised that the drive off the main road is not for the faint of heart (but if you are driving in italy, it’s just another little adventure!)

Das Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen und Urlaubsträume wahr werden! Wir haben uns dort sofort wie zuhause gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Unser Hund fand den wirklich sehr hübsch angelegten Garten so toll und spannend, dass er gar nicht mehr ins Haus wollte. Und auch wir waren gerne draußen und haben das tolle Wetter und den traumhaften Blick auf den See genossen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Stefy helped us from the beginning.. Picked us up at the ferry, took us to the grocery store and told us what wonderful cheeses and breads to buy, then on to her charming rental home. When she threw back the shutters we had the most breathtaking view ever! This rental kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals, the house clearly shows lots of tender care to make our stay delightfully with all the woodworking Alex has built, and we would recommend it. Beware, however, we were never able o get a taxi at either the ferry area or to go back down to the city. No buses either. Transportation was a huge problem. We are in our seventies and could not walk, but if you are young, and like to walk, this is a good place to stay!

The views are wonderful and always changing. Stefy is very helpful and caring with great English and full of tips. Bellagio is possibly the best base from which to explore the area, especially if you enjoy taking the boats! The property is very clean and well maintained. It's just outside the town and away form the road so is nice and peaceful. The path beside the house leads straight into the woods and up the mountain... you could walk all day in nature without touching a road. The walk down to the Lakes goes through lovely pastures and backstreets to a swimming beach with cafe-bar/bistro. Walking into Bellagio takes quite a bit longer along roads so we mostly drove to parking on the village outskirts and walked from there. Taking boats and exploring is the most fun... consider; - the fast boat to Como (and the funicular to Brunate) - funsurfcenter watersports and quiet beach at Dervio - drive and walk to mountain views and lunch at Rifugio Martina - Alberto's lakecomoadventures for via ferrata and canyoning trips - beautiful villages to explore like Lenno and Varenna Difficulties... if you are a nervous driver then the short lane to the property is quite narrow and steep.

Les Etoils ist ein mit Liebe eingerichtetes Haus mit schönem Garten und herrlichem Blick. Wir sind herzlich empfangen worden und haben sehr gute Restaurant- und andere Tipps bekommen. Wir sagen herzlichen Dank für diese unvergesslichen Tage und kommen bestimmt wieder.

A tranquil and beautiful location, although you do need a car. Beautiful garden with good garden furniture and a balcony with great views. The kitchen is well equipped and the rooms comfortable. I would book again.

The house is located on the hills above Bellagio and has a fantastic panoramic view of the Bellagio peninsula and the Como Lake. Everything is newly renovated with respect to the old house. The balcony is a favorite place to stay during the day and in the evening. The kitchen is small, cozy and well equipped for a holiday. Even on a hot day the house is cool, and at night the shutters will guarantee absolute darkness. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. We loved this house.

Thank you very much for this wonderful week in your lovely and welcoming home, with a beautiful view in the heart of the Lake Como.. A moment that we will not forget.. We can not wait to come back..

Alex and Stefy, thank you for your warm welcome and all info.  The house is charming and has everything you need to spend a really pleasant holiday in Bellagio. There is plenty of linen and the kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms are cozy. The view you have from the living room, terrace and garden is gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting in the garden as well as using the bbq.  We will come back!
