Beautiful Home. 4x4 rental necessary.

The home is very comfortable, with tons of room for the two families that stayed here for about 10 days. The vast amount of outdoor space is unreal! We spent hours every day cooling off in the pool (a must-have IMO for any stay in CR). We could hear howler monkeys in the distance, saw toucans on the properties many trees, the kids loved looking for geckos, and were delighted to see giant iguana, and we even saw an agouti and a white-nosed coati while sitting on the outdoor couch after nightfall. We were thrilled to learn about the properties lime, banana, and mango trees. You cant get better than fresh picked fruit! The outdoor bbq area was very convenient as well. The closest beach, playa Hermosa is also one of the quietest around, without vendors and needing to "buy" your shade. I would say the only down side is that the pool house was too humid for most of our party, but it worked out bc a few people didnt mind and were happy to stay out there. The dishwasher was on the fritz but we understand that repairing appliances can take some time here. The road/driveway is steep but we are used to that, but where we come from you would also add snow/ice, so rain was nothing! Jonathan and the YGH team was incredibly attentive and helpful during our stay. He had great recommendations and we had a good experience at every place he mentioned. Overall, I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to spend some time here!

The backyard was better than the pictures show. It was the perfect yard to enjoy family and friends. The pool is large enough for morning laps if you are interested. We enjoyed watching toucans fly over our heads every afternoon. I would definitely recommend this place.

We loved our stay here. It was our 3rd time to Costa Rica and by far our favorite visit. The outdoor area was our favorite and we used it nightly. On previous visits at other VRBO's the bugs had been too bad to even sit outside at night, but not here! We are already looking at booking it again for next year. Ishmael was very helpful in showing us the place and answering our questions after we got there. Stephen, the event coordinator was phenomenal in helping us book our excurisons. A copule of things to note about the house - you DEFINITELY need 4x4 to get there, and I would suggest something larger than the Rav4 that they rent you at the airport - our bumpers scraped every time we went to/from the driveway because the clearance was too low. Not a big deal but FYI. The dishwasher also didn't work well so we ended up just hand washing. (They may have this repaired). Also, the A/C unit in the main room and master was weak - it never really cooled the room off, however, the AC unit in the twin bedroom was an over achiever and you don't need to set it very cool to work well. :-) Also, FYI, there were not any beach things to use (except towels), or drink coolers/to go cups. So, if you plan to make any beach visits you need to purchase chairs or rent them. We purchased and left 3 boogie boards for future guests/kids! This was likely the biggest "bummer" about the trip because all other houses we have VRBO'd have had pool/beach items for guests to use, so if you come with kids, bring or buy your own. If you come with adults it probably isn't a big deal. We didn't use the pool house because the other guests ended up canceling on us, but it would have made additional families comfortable sleeping there! We plan to book this house again!

We had a great time at Brisa Hermosa. The view and especially sunsets were spectacular. The house was great and the pool was a blast for the kids who were there as part of our group. You definitely need a 4x4 to access but it is well worth it. We would definitely come back!

We were pretty excited when we found this property as we wanted to explore near Uvita and Domenical. You never know what you are going to get, but we are happy to report that the photos and description match the experience. Loved all of the beautiful outdoor space. Worked well for our family and friends. YGH management team was professional, prompt and easy to work with. We would not hesitate to stay with them again. If you are looking to explore this part of Costa Rica, this is a great spot to call home.

The villa is very well maintained, clean and everything was in working order. The location is excellent for bird watching, due to the higher elevation as well as the adjacent valley. The property is fairly private but there are other homes around it. It is well screened so this isn't an issue. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials. The pool access for seniors isn't overly easy, there is a shallow area with a fairly large drop to the main pool area. No issue for kids or healthy adults but harder for any people with mobility issues. The road to the villa does require 4 wheel drive with some ground clearance, particularly if it rains. It is very steep in sections and had washout areas during our visit. One day we found a whole car bumper beside one bad section, so anything low is going to struggle! We would absolutely recommend this property, communication was quick and easy with Ismael and he answered any questions we had almost immediately. This is a beautiful area of Costa Rica! Can't wait to go back.

Spacious for 3 couples. Everyone had their space when they wanted it and large areas to meet back together for dinner or just hang out. The management folks where great to deal with.

Couldn’t ask for better place to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed this property. Can’t wait to return.

My family and I had an amazing time. Total of 6 adults. The villa was beautiful and as advertised. It had all of the amenities we would have needed. The management team responded timely to all questions and booked all of our tours that we were interested in. I would definitely recommend this villa for a wonderful group vacation.

The home has everything you will need to fully relax and enjoy your stay. We stayed for 6 days and there were 6 adults in our party. The pool with the ocean view is perfect. The outside furnishings are comfortable with a few areas to relax. The outside dining tables were very nice to have our meals together in the beautiful oasis. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need! We thoroughly enjoyed the home and highly recommend Ismael at You Get Here agency. Ismael was very welcoming and responsive from the booking process to the end of our visit.

This house was incredible, and if I had the money and it was up for sale I would buy it. Aside from the house being perfect for our size group (8 of us), it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. There is plenty of sitting areas around the property. We enjoyed sitting outside for dinner every night. The house has beautiful views and we were able to see a lot of wildlife since it sits up on a lush green mountain. We didn’t have difficulty getting in and out of the property even with heavy rain with our 4x4 which are recommended. There is a supermarket about 10 mins away that is very well stocked and has everything you need. The only reason why it got 4 stars is that we did have issues with the internet being down for a few days and also the power due to heavy storms though this was beyond the control of our host it was a bit of an inconvenience, other than that we loved loved loved it and would go back again.

We loved everything about this property. We were a group of two families (three adult couples and two 18 year old boys), and this property had everything. Great indoor spaces, comfortable beds, private baths for everyone, and the outdoor living spaces - WOW! We spent tons of time in the pool or poolside, relaxing, using the outdoor kitchen, playing cards at night. It was wonderful. Very clean and extremely well-appointed. The property managers were top rate, as well. Very responsive and helpful in the planning stages, they met us on the road and gave a tour of the property on arrival, gave us recommended locations for our Covid tests before returning, and while we had no issues while we were there, I was comfortable knowing that they would have taken care of us if we had. Terrific all the way around.

We were disappointed to find that the house was not the isolated jungle paradise we hoped for. There are several houses nearby. The local roads run very close to the house and carry lots of construction vehicles. The driveway despite being gated is shared.

House is absolutely beautiful, as pictured. Stunning views and lovely landscaping. The pool was great. There is an outdoor shower near pool area which is not pictured and I don't think is mentioned in description. Helpful for getting sand off if coming back from beach. The kitchen is well equipped with basics. We had a small issue with check in, the emailed instructions which were very specific with pictures and everything, had us drive past the property further than necessary and when we contacted the person waiting for us, he was at a different location closer to the house. this was frustrating as it was a long day already for us, we were arriving after dark due to traffic issues. We then had to wait longer for him to meet us and then go back the way we came. Also a few communication issues, I specifically asked the person who checked us in if anyone would be coming to the house to clean or check the pool and he said we would be contacted ahead of time to set this up. The second morning we were there we walked outside to two men on a motorcycle as we were leaving. They said they were there to do yard and pool work. I sent a message to the check in person with their names but he did not respond. In addition, no one ever came to clean mid week as we were told they would. Since there was a washer and dryer it was not a big deal, we just washed towels. These are small issues and did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the property but could be improved upon with better communication.

Really nice house. One of the nicest we have stayed at any destination. Layout worked fantastically for multiple family members. Lots of indoor and outdoor areas and patios. Well stocked overall with pans/glasses/towels etc. Didn't charge us extra to use the laundry facilities and supplied some detergent for us to use. Local grocery store in Uvita is easy to get to (there are actually now two since we were there last time). This house was pretty close to most things we wanted to do. They recommend a 4x4 but if you are used to country life you could get away without one but why bother....they aren't that expensive to rent anyway. Pool was great for us with younger kids (no deep end and a large walk in area). Someone came halfway through and tidied it up...and the house to...but there was a skimmer net so we could do it ourselves (it is tropical and bugs do get in it after all) Yard has banana trees, mangoes, and many other wildlife attracting things. We saw plenty of bird varieties and had a pair of Toucans regularly come and hang out. Last place we stayed was farther "under" the trees so the toucans and other birds were always quite far up. This house is "higher" up the hill and sited so the birds are quite visible just by eye---but binoculars always help. Had a coati come to the mango trees a couple of times and agouti every day early in the morning. No monkeys on this particular property for us though we could hear the Howlers not too far away and we also did not see Sloths on this property either BUT the birding was fantastic. Had a great Zipline tour that was appropriate for younger kids with hacienda Baru and we saw 5 sloths there and had very observant guides (again..the birding was fantastic) so try them out for the larger mammals/animals since this house is worth going to another place to see the larger animals.

We recently stayed at Brisa Hermosa and loved everything about it. The location was outstanding providing easy access to everything we could possible want to do. The home, location, and pool were incredible. One could spend their entire time just enjoying the home and the beautiful views. Really enjoyed getting up super early and enjoying all of the wildlife! Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay.

This property is as advertised! The accommodations are first class and the views are breathtaking! My family spent 8 fun packed days at this property, and were entertained every day with just the wildlife we saw on the grounds. Toucans, hummingbirds, butterflies and coati appeared everyday! The house and pool house were so clean and comfortable. We did a lot of cooking in the well stocked kitchen. It was convenient having Dominical and Uvita so close for groceries and great restaurants(try Sabor Espanol and Pizza time). We went during the dry season so the weather was perfect, but would love to check out the rainy season as well! The staff at yougethere couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. This is just one of 25 incredible properties that they manage in this area. Oh yeah, a 4 wheel drive vehicle is a must to make it up the rather steep dirt road.

We had an incredible stay at Brisa Hermosa. The house is situated beautifully among the jungle and the view of the ocean was amazing . . . and the sunsets were an added bonus! The management company was very responsive to anything that needed attention. I would love to stay here again one day.
