We loved the house and Coast Cottage neighborhood! The elevator was great for my older parents. The house is spacious and absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed being so close to the pool and beach. The house has everything you need including beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys and a wagon. The deck was wonderful for coffee in the mornings and just hanging out during the day or night. We hated to leave but hope to stay at 5 Coast Cottage again next year!

Great place for families. Close to beach and good places to eat.

Our first trip to St. Simons and this house exceeded our expectations! We take several beach trips a year and this house was by far the best! Super clean, well stocked, close proximity to pool and beach. Easy check in and property manager answered any questions quickly. Highly recommend!

We arrived Friday for a late Friendsgiving weekend. The house was cozy, warm and welcoming. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked with all of our cooking needs for a feast. Perfect location, quick drive to downtown and grocery. Comfy beds. We would have preferred the downstairs living space to have a regular bed instead of the pull out sofa because that would have been more comfortable and the living room on main floor hosted all of our entertainment needs for our group. This was a perfect place for our group of 9 to enjoy quality time together.

House was perfect for our needs... The secondary bedrooms were a little tight for sharing but close friends it worked out. Disappointed is was not direct oceanfront as we thought but a birds eye view from a couple rooms. Close proximity to beach walkover was literally out the front door by a few feet.

We were very excited to stay at 3 Friends Cottage. There was 6 of us in total (2 elderly adults, 2 adults, 2 children). The check in process was very easy and communication about the details of the property were good. We had been notified that the property was having issues with one of the ovens, which was fine as there was two. Once we got there we realized the second oven didn't really work either, which limited cooking options. Luckily, they had a grill outside and we used that for a few meals. The refrigerator also started alarming the second day we were there and beeped every so often. It was a bit annoying (especially at night) and they did provide us with gift certificates to Southern Soul BBQ to make up for the inconvenience. To be fair, when we contacted the property management about the issues, they stated the owners were in the process of updating the appliances. All in all the property is nice and the kitchen had everything else you would need to stay for the week (dishes, cook ware, etc). The house seemed to be clean except for the dishwasher and under the beds that looked like they had not been cleaned in a very long time. We had two big disappointments about the propertyand our reservation. First was that the master bed was super firm and what we called "Rock hard". After two nights of not sleeping we found an extra twin mattress pad on the first floor and put it on one side of the king bed and then used all the extra pillows as a pad on the otherside. The other beds were not as bad, but not the best either. The biggest disappointment was that it is listed as having a water/beach view which is technically accurate but in my opinion should not be listed as such. To see the beach and water you have to stand at the very corner of the deck and lean forward to see the beach or you must be in the master shower and open the shades to see it. Either way, not what we expected for a water view home. The home all in all met many of our needs such as outdoor space to relax, having an outdoor shower, and having an elevator for the elderly adults which was a nice option (even though we really didn't use it). It is a nice house and has a lot to offer, but in my opinion it is not listed accurately and with the current condition of things is very overpriced. We had a very nice vacation, but will not be staying there again.

Had a couple of things happen but Agent was highly responsive and efficient. Entire family had a great time. Highly recommended property - and I’ve been staying at SSI since the 1960’s.

This is a beautiful home in a beach setting. It fully equipped with everything you need for a fun-filled vacation, including fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs/toys/towels, etc. The three levels provide areas to escape for quiet moments or gather as a group to play games and eat. We hated to leave and look forward to going back in the future.

Perfect location and house for a fun, memorable family Spring Break. Would definitely recommend and plan to book another stay next year!

Amazing!

Our family rented 2 homes on Coastal Cottage. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We can plan on doing this again next year.

Great property. Plenty of space for enjoying our stay at the beach. Relaxed atmosphere; great neighborhood.

Four sisters and our mom spent a few days at Three Friends Cottage. The beach and pool access was excellent. We especially appreciated having beach towels, chairs, umbrella and cart available for our use. The house was beautiful and very well equipped. Bedrooms and bathrooms were just as nice as the photos showed. The kitchen and living area were spacious and inviting. We had planned to watch movies but we had so much fun we ran out of time. Really nothing to critique.

Spacious home with elevator, balconies and an easy walk to the beach. Our kids also enjoyed the pool.

Absolutely enjoyed this property and the neighborhood. The elevator came in handy. We appreciated the amount of beach towels and beach chairs that were available for us to use. Great location- spent a lot of time traveling to the village in our golf cart for shopping and dining. One thing to note (but doesn’t change our rating!!) is the large and lovely deck isn’t covered so it is difficult to sit outside on a hot sunny day. We would stay at this property again and fell in love with the island!

Great host, nice house and great location.

Our group had 7 adults and 2 small children and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Three friends cottage! The proximity to the pool and beach cannot be beat. The patio was the perfect place to hang out any time of day. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need. There was also ample amount of towels. We will be back!

Property advertised heated community pool. I called to confirm so that children would enjoy the pool experience. Property manager advised I would have to pay $xx/day for pool heat. When we arrived one of the property owners of another house in neighborhood told us that the pool was always heated for the entire community and we wasted our money. Property manager would not refund 2 of the 5 days I paid for.

They also provided enough dishwasher detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, etc. for our week long stay which was really helpful.I always love reading people's reviews for helpful tips, so here are the things we liked in the area:- Mullet Bay had the best blackened fish and hush puppies- Iguanas had the best fried shrimp and Bahama Mama frozen drinks- Sal's had excellent pizza!- Moo Cow had yummy ice cream!- We took a day trip to Savannah and really enjoyed our historical walking tour with Savannah Dan. Highly recommended!- Visiting Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island is a must!

This was a great property for my family! We had a great time and the property was very clean and a great location. The outdoor shower is a cool feature as well. We would definitely stay here again

This was my families first trip to SSI and we loved staying at 5 Coast Cottage. There was plenty of space to spread out. With several living areas. The house is a short walk to the pool which was ideal.
