The fact that we have to walk to buy food since there is no cafe there. But we are allowed to cook since there is an open pantry.

Overall the place quite clean and with nice and well kept garden. Great to have mini book shelf to equip with nice books. Got well equiped kitchen wares & bbq kits.

A bit too dim the lighting especially during night. If have a bit more lighting option at certain spot will be good. Eg can have some stand lamp or side lamp in the bedroom. Main door of our villa is in faulty. It would be great if fix. Water heater stop valve a bit too high and have leaking in one of our room when we on the instant heater.

it is within 10-15 minutes walking distance to the park HQ. Also 5 min. walk to a little “container” restaurant that serves dinner and breakfast at very reasonable prices.

The room was a bit damp and smelled a little bit, maybe due to the bathroom.

The room did not have any good view. Room is rundown, I can smell the muskiness. Ended up staying for a night instead of two.

The location is great if you want to hike in Kinabalu National Park!

On forehand, we booked an extra night, which we regretted once we were there. The room and bathroom weren't very clean. And it was very humid, which made stuff moisty. The wall was breaking down and there were dead mosquitos all over. There were a lot of ants in the toilet. And the door to the bathroom kept on opening by itself, which was a problem because it's an open air toilet. In the advertisement it says that there is a kitchen and a small supermarket. But it's just a gasburner outside, without a fridge. And we didn't see a supermarket.

Location excellent. Very close to park hq. Good hot shower.

Paper thin walls. Nowhere to hang clothes

Location is perfect, morning view quite nice eventhough opposite to mountain view staff is good , kind and helping

The room i get is not balance, the floor like tilted to one side. water heater funcitoning but need to use lower then the water will come out out , if not it will be cold water

we were in the area to hike mount kinabalu. therefore, as part of our low budget travel, this accommodation was totally worth it, as we arrived there two days before. the staff was friendly and helpful, everything worked smoothly. we could relax there very well! the small cottages with the garden are nice and everything is very clean and well maintained!

we stayed there two nights, it rained every day from the afternoon, which we could also see the days after in the nearby surroundings. accordingly, our clothes had become wet relatively often. there was no possibility in the house where we were accommodated to hang any of our clothes for drying, moreover, it has become very cold there at night. in the room it was therefore cold and wet at night, quite uncomfortable.
