Another lovely stay!

The cottage was walking distance to shops, restaurants, the beach, and the pier yet it was a quiet and peaceful location. It was the perfect place to enjoy some relaxing family time!

What an incredible stay in an adorable home! Just perfect. Right across the street to beach access, and near the village, East beach area. Outdoor shower is a must! The back yard/tiki hut was the perfect back drop to some Georgia Football. Thank you so much for sharing your home. The staff was friendly and helpful- definitely 5 star!

House is in a great location! Right next to King and Prince. Property is tucked away so plenty of privacy. Can easily walk to most locations for breakfast/dinner or shopping. We enjoyed our weekend and loved the overall beach house vibe the house has to offer. Would stay here again!

The Cottage had plenty of space for my family, 4 kids and us. The backyard was super fun with the right amount of functional and quirky. The favorite area was sitting on the swings at the outdoor "surf-bar"! Easy beach accessibility, short walk to king and prince, great restaurants close by, and easy to work with management.

Upon checking in, we noticed the home wasn’t super clean. Linens on beds had what appeared to be pet hair on them, bathroom rugs were dirty, and overall just hadn’t had a good deep clean. We immediately reached out to management and they replaced all linens and thoroughly cleaned the home for us the next morning. We were very pleased and appreciative. The listing says there are 2 king beds which was a reason we liked this home but this isn’t the case. It’s a king bed upstairs and a full bed downstairs. Kind of a bummer but we made it work. The house is really neat and has been redone well with lots of charm. Super quick walk to the beach and close to the Village. Communication with management was wonderful. I do think some additional deep cleaning, decluttering and organization of the home overall could make this home a real show stopper.

Just the right spot for 2 couples or a family..lot’s of hangout spots and convenient to the beach and eating spots..walked to Fiddlers twice for dinner..our new favorite! Had a blast and will be back!

We loved being so close to the beach! It was only a short walk. The house was so nice with lots of areas to sit and relax. The outdoor area was so fun!

You will not be disappointed and I am picky!!! Lots of room!! Very clean! 1.5 min walk to the beach!! You won't regret it at all!!

First let me say the property is beautiful, well appointed, and in a prime location across from the beach. The listing pictures really do not do the house justice and I was pleasantly surprised to find the aesthetic much more pleasing than anticipated. And the beach is literally across the street! Where I had an issue was with the cleanliness of the house. Every single towel and washcloth had some sort of spot or stain. The bed spread had a large stain and the pillow case had both set in stains and crusty matter that could be scraped off. It made me wonder if the linens had been changed. There was dirt and hair on the toilet seat, an inch thick of dust on the bathroom shelf (months worth), and a previous guests head band prominently on the floor in the master suite. A balloon rolled under a chair in the living room and the static electricity returned it covered in dust, dirt, and hair. Fabulous house but it could certainly use a proper cleaning and a refresh of towels and linens. I let the owner know and he was apologetic but that did little to assuage the ick factor of spending a weekend feeling like using unchanged sheets and stained towels/wash cloths. The owner seemed nice and offered to bring over ice when I mentioned the water/ice filter on the fridge was flashing for replacement ( I declined due to the pandemic). All in all I would stay there again after a deep cleaning due to the quality of the house and prime location but would probably bring my own pillows and linens.

Literally steps from the beach. Perfect hidden gem with cute little treasures. A must stay! Perfect for families and I felt safe having my 4 year old play outside in the enclosed backyard. My teenage daughter loved the swing bed to get her “alone” time. The kitchen was beautiful and great for entertaining Easter dinner with the family! Absolutely loved this house!

We had a lovely time at this charming house. It was very well appointed and decorated. The outdoor spaces were SO fun!

Conched Out was the perfect spot for us to enjoy everything that St. Simons has to offer. It's steps away from the beach yet tucked away and quiet. The house has everything you could ask for and more. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to return!

Let’s start with the property management... Benji is too notch. Long story short VRBO had issues and he and his crew made it all better within a quick call. On to the property ... this place is amazing. Location was perfect and the charm and updates to the old house were amazing. If this place is available grab it. If not someone else will and you will be reading their review next and wishing it was yours.

The home was absolutely perfect for our anniversary getaway! Conveniently located for morning beach walks and walking to restaurants and shopping. The fire pit and Tiki bar were an added bonus after spending days exploring the area. We will definitely be back!

This house was very nice, and exceptionally clean. I’d love to stay here again.

Favorite place we have stayed in. Pros: character, privacy and size of house. Cons: prior guests' trash not collected from driveway by county that manager did pick up upon request or fire pit area which we discarded; a few hairs on upstairs shower wall, shower floor and floor; bobby pin on shower floor; 2 exposed nails that we tapped back down in front of kitchen sink; 3 burned out light bulbs which manager replaced. Intermittent internet due to short in exterior cable not on property which was fixed and exposed cable on property which will be buried by provider due to their mistake. This sounds like a lot but it is routine stuff that regularly gets taken care of. We were there during a holiday weekend with endless rain and had to extend our stay by 2 nights due to bad storms. Management worked with us and was very helpful, no complaints with them. Blame goes to the county for the outside trash and cleaning crew for the trash, hair and bulbs (if they are responsible for checking them which we think they should be) and AT&T for the cable. The nails are a byproduct of an 80 year old home that has been renovated, and could have happened at any time and are easy to miss, though a bare foot would have noticed them right away. Overall, we had a great time and have shared the listing with interested friends. We look forward to staying there again. 🙂

Property was great for a quick winter beach getaway. Enjoyed location and outdoor space!

Conched Out was the perfect spot for our yearly holiday vacation with friends. The kitchen is well equipped. The backyard is an awesome space. All the sitting areas gave us space to spread out. A short walk to the beach and fantastic restaurants. We look forward to our next time spent in Conched Out!

Was looking for a get away to de-stress a bit. Was perfect! Public beach access was literally across the street and small stroll to get there. Owners were very friendly and helpful and gave restaurant recommendations. Owners were quick to follow up with any questions. Cottage is very charming!

This was a short stay for us - a chance to get to know the island. This property has everything you could ever want - comfortable sleeping arrangements, nicely updated amenities and a fully-stocked kitchen. The outdoor bar and fire pit, as well as the close proximity to the beach are added bonuses, making this property a perfect beach getaway! Thanks!

This rental convinced us that SSI & Conched Out should be our standing family vacation. This home is beautifully appointed with many comfortable sitting areas that endeared it to us to return. Privately located off a short pipestem, the reduced road noise makes mornings peaceful. It’s a 3 minute walk to a wonderful beach, & the convenience extends to an outdoor shower that gets warm water! We were surprised by an additional 1/2 bath off the main area that made things just so easy. The beds were super comfortable & the kitchen & tv amenities were an awesome bonus. We sill definitely be vacationing here again!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. We loved how close it was to the beach and how private the property was. We will definitely come back to SSI to stay here.
