8 of us stayed here for 4 nights and we absolutely loved it. Everything was exactly as described. We brought 2 boats with us and there was still plenty of parking space. Having the launch 2 minutes away was great. We loved that every room has a TV. That is hard to find with rentals. We rented 2 places last year and this was by far our favorite. We enjoyed sitting on the deck around the fire at night and enjoying our coffee there in the morning. All of the little details here were just perfect. We are already talking about next year. Thank you so much for renting this beautiful cabin.

The property was excellent. Everything was clean. The space was great. If we had any questions, Cindy was there to answer them. No issues with the house and property. Its location was accessible to many restaurants, bars, and activities. The area was a lot of fun. It was our first time to Lake Wallenpaupack. We were fortunate to know someone with a boat. The only drawback to the lake was that access to the shores to fish for example (without a boat) is limited, as most of it seemed to be private. I didn't realize that. I should have done further looking into perhaps places where that could be accomplished. Regardless, we had a great time and would look to come back again.

Nice place but too far from the water. Dock access had at least 50 steps and was not acceptable for older people,. It was made to seem like it was just a short walk and was not at all. No dvd players worked, neither did the PlayStation. Light bulbs out everywhere and bathroom sink wouldn't drain. We let the owner know when he was there. Sliding glass doors were old and did not work properly at all. They were very old and need to be replaced. We made the best of our week but disappointed in the overall situation. Propane fireplace on back deck was awesome

We didn't know what to expect for our first lake vacation. And with two dogs in tow, We had a great time for a family of five We had plenty of room the house was definitely spacious and very cozy all at the same time. The lake was great so we took our boat out had no problems. Was a very quiet neighborhood and we would definitely rent again!

Bobs Big Wood’s Bungalow offered the us the best experience in PA. The home was large enough to host 5 guest comfortably while “working from home” during our stay, and easily transition into our "relax and hang-out mode." The best feature of all was the fully stocked kitchen, dining area and outdoor patio with a family style dining table. The location near the lake was perfect and not too far from the dock. We really enjoyed all of the amenities and are excited to come back again for another stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

This was a very nice getaway for our family! The house is decorated very well and has lots of supplies. The house is very clean even while it’s pet friendly! The fire pit and game room are wonderful bonuses. Great option for a vacation!

We rented this property last minute for a family getaway. The property was well taken care of and provided tons of fun for the kids. They spent hours in the basement playing foos ball and video games. Perfect space for them to hang. The walk to the dock was so quick and such a beautiful view. The public beach and boat rentals were a short drive away. We had one small issue with a leaking shower and the property manager sent a plumber the next morning and it was fixed in minutes. Would definitely rent this property again!

This was a wonderful experience from start to end. The communication with management was easy and personal, the house was clean and welcoming, and the proximity to the lake was perfect. The house was a great size for myself, my husband, my sister and brother in law, and our toddler. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics you'd expect, and we used the (amazing) gas grill daily! We spent endless hours on the beautiful front porch, and ate almost all meals outside on the back porch. The lake is a 5 minute walk from the house (20 if you're walking with a toddler...) and the neighbors we met at the dock were all nice and had lots of fishing tips :) . The lake was great for fishing (lots of bluegill) and swimming. There are also lots of boat rentals in the area if you want! We hope to return to this house the next time we want a relaxing escape in the Poconos and have already recommended it to multiple friends looking for a quiet, nice spot for a vacation.

I enjoyed every minute since I've been here I have to say the property is very beautiful big amazing and home welcoming. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to relax have fun or just have peace and quiet .

well equiped with everyting like home

We booked this place for a little Thanksgiving getaway. The house is very clean, cute and comfortable. You get a real “ lodge/cabin in the woods feel” which is what we were looking for, and it had everything you need. And perfect for my dog to stay along with us too! There were some plumbing issues upon our arrival, which were out of anyone’s control. Cindy & Jen (property mgrs/Weichert), and Bob (owner) were AWESOME! They addressed the issue, made accommodations for our first night and were immediately available for any other needs. I look forward to hopefully booking the place one summer when there’s more to do at lake. Thanks again Cindy, Bob and Jen!

Great home away from home! Very welcoming, lots of amenities provided. My kids loved it, would recommend for families looking for a nice getaway

Loved being on the lake and having a slip to leave my boat. The house was very comfortable and roomey.

We rent a lot through VRBO. This is been one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The cabin at everything! AC,Wi-Fi, well decorated, lots of amenities. Everything you would possibly need this cabin had it ready at our disposal. It even had candles in the drawer for our birthday cake. Very close to the lake with its own boat slip, for boaters you couldn’t ask for a better rental. We had a pair of deer visit us every day, which is great for the kids The game room downstairs was outstanding and well used by our kids. Linens were provided, and we’re good quality. Not the musty things we’ve experienced in the past at other places. You can tell they take care of the property, they have damp rid in each of the rooms just in case as these cabins can get musty. State of the art electronics, remote control fans, everything was top notch. The kitchen was made out of old reclaimed wood, and was just gorgeous. We will be renting this cabin again.

The house and property exceeded our expectations!!!

Hello Cindy, The electric really needs to be worked on in this house...fuses kept blowing in the kitchen and family room area. There were random electric cords plugged in, it seemed dangerous how things were connected in the house! If you offer all those air mattresses he should really invest in an electric pump. It was a manual pump that took a long time to blow one mattress. Another concern was the army police came to the house looking for an individual and wanted information which the kids or myself didn't have and questioned our teenage children wanting ages and names. That was a little disconcerting for all of us. They were looking for a name of Gilman or Gilmore.... Thanks, we enjoyed our stay and had a great week of weather! Kelly

The property was well maintained and kept up to date. This is a great rental for any family that is looking to get away and spend time together. It has plenty of games for the kids and a nice deck area for everyone to sit around one of the multiple fires.

This place was amazing loved it here!! The house had plenty of room for 6 people. The owners sure make it comfortable for everyone and a very homey feel throughout the house. Would love to come back soon!!

The property managers were very helpful in securing this property and would have been available had we needed them. The living spaces were spacious enough for our family of 10 and we had a good time while we were there. The downside was the smell of mothballs in every room. The air conditioning is not balanced properly so one bedroom is freezing while another has almost no air circulating in it at all. The basement bedroom was musty and the bumper pool table was broken. While it is in close proximity to the lake (1/2 mile walk) you cannot see the lake.

For the weekend we staid it was calm quite and some of the best relaxing I ever had I'm definitely coming back
