We stayed in the house for two weeks in late January/early February. The house is situated within walking distance to everything so during your time in Nerja you don't need to drive. We did have a car for day trips to Frigiliana, Granada, Ronda, Almunecar and Cordoba. The public areas of the house are very roomy with plenty of outdoor space. Syreeta is very responsive to any needs. We cooked several meals in the house and grilled a couple of nights. We also enjoyed Bar Redondo for tapas (and people watching) and the paella at Burriana (all recommendations from Syreeta). Since we stayed during the low season, some restaurants and shops were closed for vacation, however, there were sufficient open venues and nothing was too crowded!

We had ana amazing stay in Nerja. From the moment we booed Syreeta was unbelievably attentive and helpful. She defines what it is to be a host! She kindly arranged our transfers and send lots of information about the house and area. The beds are comfortable, it is very well equipped and the gardens are stunning. It is a quiet little oasis. Lots of toys inside the house and for the pool for the kids. Beach towels, pool towels… you name it, it’s there! Makes packing so much easier. The house is SO clean. You will feel at home immediately. You won’t regret booking. We hope to be back.

We cannot put into words how much we all enjoyed this beautiful villa. It totally exceeded our expectations! The attention to detail and the support we received from Syreeta ensured all our concerns and needs were more than catered for. So much so, we have no hesitation in booking for next year! We have been home a few weeks now however my grandchildren are still talking of the special 'holiday home'!! A beautiful pool, the outside dining area where we all enjoyed tapas lunches from the little shop close by, comfortable beds, great showers, chilled drinking water, the well equipped kitchen and laundry room, I could go on and on, it just felt like home from home. This villa is simply the best one we have stayed in, in over 15 years of Villa holidaying. It was perfectly and spotlessly prepared for our arrival, which was a lovely experience to have at 3am and feeling tired. For the first time, everything worked! From the light switches to the utilities, everything worked. The standard of decor is high. The garden and pool area is stunning. Syreeta is a great host and manages to do a perfect job of hosting, though she is up in Madrid :-).

My family and I stayed at this wonderful villa and had the most amazing time. Location is perfect with only a short stroll to the Burriana beach or into town. It's just far enough out of everything so it's lovely and quiet. The villa itself is extremely spacious for our family. Three good size bedrooms. Two have ensuites. Huge kitchen and lounge. The pool was amazing especially while the weather was so hot! The garden and pool are so well maintained. The surroundings are beautiful! The highlight of this holiday was the host Syreeta! What an absolute star! Syreeta was so attentive from the moment we booked the holiday. Full of wonderful information and recommendations. We were luckily enough to meet this amazing lady and her husband when we arrived. Anything you needed or wanted she was right there at the end of the phone. If you are reading this and are lucky enough to book this villa then I can promise you that you will not be disappointed. Best holiday I have been on in a long time.

This is the best villa we've ever stayed in, fantastically clean and well appointed with all the essentials for the perfect stay (the kitchen is by far the best stocked with crockery, cutlery and other utensils that I've ever seen). The pool is a nice size and the garden was lovely. The location is also great - quiet but only 10mins walk into the centre of Nerja or just over 5 down to Burriana beach. The host is simply amazing, as well as providing us with a huge amount of information before we arrived, whilst we were there she seemed to be available 24 x 7 and was always very quick to answer even the most trivial of questions, as well as helping book local restaurants (Restaurant 34 is a must) and taxis when we needed them (there is absolutely no need for a hire car)

The villa is spotless and has everything you would wish for and more. It has the feeling of luxury and also homely at the same time. The outside area(s) was very well maintained and the pool was a great size for everyone to be in at the same time. The BBQ area and outside eating spaces were well used and great for a meal at night with a bit of music on in the background. The villa is in an ideal location of just over 10 minutes walk to the main square where you can stop on the way at the many eating and drinking places on route. The jewel in the whole thing is Syreeta (Sarah) she is an outstanding host and went well out of her way to help ensure that our stay was first class and also that our guests got not only to our villa but also to the other places they were staying to attend the wedding. This villa is exactly as advertised. We had a wonderful stay. The host was friendly and very helpful.

To summarise this villa in one word, i would say sublime. If you are looking for the perfect location in Nerja, peaceful yet local this is your best spot. I loved the fact that it was close enough to walk to everywhere yet peaceful enough to enjoy local life. The location felt extremely safe and secure. The host was the best ive ever experienced and she answered and provided us with all the imformation we requied above and behond. When it comes to the villa, there was such attention to detail in every aspect, from a fully loaded kitchen to playroom for the children. The beds were luxurious and we all slept like babies during our stay. If there was any negatives it was the fact that our holiday was too short, leaving us wanting more...

Everything about our stay was lovely-from Syreeta’s assistance from the moment we rented till the end. The villa is lovely and a very relaxing place to be. Our son and daughter-in-law were with us part of the time and the men made good use of the outdoor barbecue as we had wonderful steaks from the local butcher and lobster and seafood from local seafood store. Restaurants fantastic but since I know Syreeta will take care of that info I will not go further Syreeta was incredible and I thank her for sharing this lovely villa and taking such good care of us. 😊

We travel extensively and we both agree that our one week stay here was just perfect. Syreeta is amazing - I referred to her as our WhatsApp Angel. She was always so gracious, hospitable and kind - I’m just disappointed that we never met her face to face! The villa is wonderful. Incredibly clean, well appointed with fabulous outdoor spaces. The weather was quite varied during our week in early February. However, when it was warm, we enjoyed coffee in the front courtyard and wine by the pool in the afternoon. When it was rainy or chilly, we appreciated the huge and comfortable interior. The bed linens and towels were lovely. The welcome basket was thoughtfully put together. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything (dishes, flatware,glasses, pots and pans) was of excellent quality. We loved the location - very quiet for sleeping, yet walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Parking on the street was readily available. If we were to return to Nerja, I wouldn’t hesitate to book this again! Syreeta should conduct classes in hospitality for all VRBO owners. She is a gem and so is the villa.

We were a group of five seniors from N Ireland taking a trip down memory lane in Nerja. Our accommodation turned out to be a dream villa set in exotic gardens complete with pool and every conceivable amenity. I cannot think of anything needed for our stay that was not supplied. Syreeta the owner made the visit seamless with every detail taken care of from the welcome pack to our transport to and from Malaga Airport. The villa is sited within roughly a mile of all that Nerja has to offer and we walked most places. Thank you Syreeta.

This is a beautiful villa. From the moment we booked Syreeta was on hand to ask questions. She was the most attentive host and recommended restaurants and places of interest in Nerja. Syreeta also ordered us our private transfer from the airport too. Check in was so easy and the villa did not disappoint! It exceeded all my expectations. The attention to detail was amazing and it was spotless. The garden and pool were a particular highlight as was the table tennis! The beach was a 10 minute walk (at the most) one way and the town 10 minutes the other way with lovely little places to stop and see the sea and have a drink. What a fabulous week 6 ladies had at this outstanding villa. Syreeta was the most amazing host, truly ensuring that we enjoyed our holiday from start to finish. The villa is beautiful with all the amenities and so much more. The gardens/pool area is stunning, we enjoyed our time relaxing by the pool before walking around beautiful Nerja. What a fabulous, stress free holiday we had. The house, pool & location were perfect. Syreeta you are a fabulous host, from the minute I requested a midweek start to our stay rather than a Saturday (due to 3rd year of rescheduled flights) you did everything in your power to help has have a wonderful holiday. We had waited 3 years for this holiday and we were looking for the best- we certainly got it! Nothing was to much trouble. We have always hired cars on holiday but absolutely no need- we used the recommended taxi firm to get us to and from Nerja from Malaga airport (all arranged by Syreeta) which was perfect. And so easy! Local shops, supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants a plenty, all within easy walking distance. My husband loved his early morning runs around the old town, I enjoyed the sun beds and pool. Our adult/ teenage kids loved the privacy of their own rooms and bathrooms and the freedom to be able to walk out in an evening to grab a drink and tapas. The BBQ was well used and we added a fair few corks to the large glass globe in the kitchen! The beaches (although not fine sand) were brilliant, the sea crystal clear. One day it was calm the next wonderful crazy waves. The house and garden lacked nothing. From sunrise to sunset it was perfect. Early morning coffee and breakfast around the pool. Playing cards & table tennis during the balmy evenings and even had inflatable races in the pool late at night. Many happy memories made. We will be forever grateful for your hospitality Syreeta x

The villa and gardens were wonderful. Both were very spacious and the garden felt very private. The property was spotless and had everything we needed. It was great to have a private, decent-sized pool and also table tennis. Syreeta, the owner was brilliant from the moment we booked it. She provided information, recommendations and photos. She was always easy to contact and could not have been more helpful! I would definitely return without hesitation.

I stayed in this wonderful villa with my family aged from 54-75 including my niece who is a wheelchair user and it was perfect for her needs. It's accessible in all areas including the pool which has a hoist for access to the pool. The wheel in shower is perfect. The villa itself far exceeds the expectations from the description and photos. It is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay and feels like a home from home. The pool, garden and outdoor covered terrace are a great place to relax in the sun or dine al fresco in the evening. The property is not far from the centre of Nerja with it's many bars and restaurants. Unfortunately due to ill health for both myself and my sister we were not able to venture out as much as we normally do but the villa was thankfully a great place to relax in and just take it easy. We loved the garden and pool lights as we enjoyed a glass of wine or two after dinner in the evening. Very pretty and added a lovely ambience. Syreeta is the best host I've ever encountered on a villa holiday and was always contactable with tips advice and help. I felt like I was contacting a friend. We would love to stay again sometime and I totally recommend it to groups of friends and families but especially for people with mobility issues. You will love it.

We stayed at Syreeta's villa in April and to sum it up in one word, it was excellent. The villa is as lovely as the photos, and actually bigger than what we were expecting. We had a 10 month baby and someone with walking difficulties so it was really good to have the entire property on one level. The weather was cooler than usual at this time of year so we unfortunately couldn't make use of the pool but that made the jacuzzi perfect. The villa is a short walk to the beach which is great. Its worth noting the road to the beach is currently under construction but we soon realised that if you ask the workers nicely they'll let you pass through!! What made the trip most memorable for us was the communication with Syreeta. She is hands down the best host I have ever had. She sent us lots of recommendations on whereabouts to go before we arrived, helped us with taxi transfers to and from the airport and to the famous caves, and regularly checked in to check we were ok. I would definitely recommend anyone stay here if you are visiting Nerja. It's a short walk to the centre of town, shops and the Balcony of Europe. Lots of nice restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. From start to finish our experience of dealing with Syreeta was absolutely 1st class. We had to move our dates due to passport delays for the kids but Syreeta couldn’t have been more helpful in helping us rebook for March. As we approached the off, Syreeta sent through everything we needed to know about the villa, complete with restaurant & bar recommendations and even booked our airport transfers for us. We literally didn’t have to worry about organising anything, which is rare! The villa was seriously impressive & lacked for nothing. It really is as good as the pictures suggest. There’s even toys for the kids to play with which saved us lugging their usual stash over with us! Location is also perfect, being pretty much equidistant between the beach and town. All in all, having visited Nerja many times over the years, we’re delighted to have found this little slice of paradise and cannot wait to return again next year. Thanks again Syreeta! James

We stayed here the first week of February and could not have made a better choice . The support from the owner Syreeta was the best we have ever experienced in our many stays at various holiday cottages /villas both abroad and in the UK Many holiday lets are clinical and impersonal this villa is a home and much loved and it shows . Everything about it is 5 star ++,its location ,facilities ,condition and service from the host . You will not find better accomodation in the area . The test is always would you return and recommend to friends and family which we would do without hesitation

Wir-4 Erwachsene- durften Ende November 2021, 11 Tage in der Villa Santionatella verbringen. Nach kurzem Spaziergang erreicht man sowohl die Playa Burriana, die Alt-Stadt und den Balkon von Europa. Zum Strand geht es steil bergab und der Rückweg ist gut für die Fitness. Es sind auch Ende November genügend Restaurants und Geschäfte geöffnet. Die Villa ist wie auf den Bildern ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts, vom einem modernen großen TV-Gerät, einem Side by Side Kühlschrank einem separaten Wein-Kühlschrank , Bademänteln und Duschgel ist alles vorhanden. Die Betten haben hochwertige Matratzen und angenehme Bettwäsche. Die Räume sind groß und es ist mehr als genug Platz vorhanden. Bei Ankunft ist alles perfekt vorbereitet, sauber und sogar Kaffeekapseln für den ersten Kaffee liegen bereit. Die Küche ist mit allem notwendigen Zubehör ausgestattet. Der Garten ist sensationell und an den Bäumen hängen Orangen und Bananen. Der Gärtner pflegt ihn perfekt und ohne zu stören. Die Betreuung durch die Eigentümerin ist einfach sensationell, von der Anreise bis zur Abreise ist sie per Whatsapp immer erreichbar und ihre Tipps und Hilfe von Restaurantempfehlungen bis zur Transferbuchung oder Ausflugzielen sind Top. Etwas schwierig ist es, selbst in der Nebensaison, einen Parkplatz zu ergattern. Die Parkplätze sind rar und man muss Glück haben einen in der Nähe der Villa zu finden. We stayed at this villa in Nerja for the first 2 weeks of November 2021. The location was excellent, just 7 or 8 minutes easy walk to the shops and the main restaurants, maybe 12 minutes to the balcony of Europe on the coast. the villa was spacious, clean, well furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly want to make your stay comfortable, even down to toiletries in the bathrooms. The broadband was good and reliable, the rooms were all an excellent size and comfortable. The absolute star of the show was Syreeta the owner. She was extremely helpful and informative and couldn't do enough for us - booking taxis, transfers, making recommendations and even reservations - plus just generally checking in that everything was going well - an absolutely brilliant property owner who really looked after us. If I sent a message via whatsapp she would respond within about 10 minutes at all times, just superb. Would definitely stay again and would give this 6 stars if such a thing was possible.

We have been to Nerja many times over the years but when we return, we will definitely return Villa Santionatella! Centrally located and a short walk from the Balcon d'Europa and the beach, the villa really is a home from home - perfect for families. For the kids, there is a pool, table tennis and more. For the adults, the house is fully equipped to make your stay effortless. As for Syreeta, well, I've seen the term 'Superhost' before but there needs to be a level above this for her. She is super helpful with her hints and tips, very easy to contact and even quicker to make sure whatever you need is done! Thanks for such a brilliant stay...
