We had a lovely time staying here. The home was perfect and so comfortable. Outdoors perfect too. Our hostess was amazing and I enjoyed learning about their efforts to preserve this beautiful piece of Colorado history. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

My husband and I, along with another couple, needed a weekend away in the mountains. We've always loved Buena Vista. This house was the PERFECT spot to relax and play games and also be close to town to grab a bite or find a cute shop. The house is absolutely perfect with just the right amenities, a gorgeous fireplace, and in the best location. Thank you for sharing your home!!

Great location and cute property with lots of character. Very comfortable and clean. Woke up every day to deer in the yard. Enjoyed watching the birds and the property included some beautiful plants. Well-stocked kitchen.

The house is very nice and has everything you need. The rooms are great (mattress not so much), however I have back and neck injuries I am still recovering from so we have a Purple mattress at home. The yard was perfect for our dog. Overall wonderful place and we will be returning in the future.

This house feels like going home. It's well stocked, comfortable, and so easy. Kitchen is stocked with everything you would ever need. Great communication with the host. House is located next to a creek and two blocks from the park. Short walk to downtown. Was nervous about six people being comfortable sleeping and it worked great. Master bed was so comfortable. Totally will be coming back.

Our family is familiar with the charming mountain town of Buena Vista, having stayed several times at different properties in BV. This lovely home is, by far, the most delightful place for a short or extended stay. It is well equipped with everything one would need and decorated with impeccable taste. It is located in a residential area yet close enough walk to 'downtown' .

Wonderful place for a weeks stay. Just what we wanted and needed. Walk to downtown. Fenced yard was an added bonus for our dog. Gala was a great hostess and now a new friend. We will stay again!

What a special little house! It was perfect for us and our family, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The master bedroom and bath upstairs are all renovated and so very comfortable. We also loved the cute kitchen, and the extra bathroom downstairs , and the deep jetted tub!

The homeowners went above and beyond to supply all the necessary essentials for our stay. The coffee bar for breakfast, spices, toiletries, real orchids and plants all added to to the comfort of our stay.. we saw deer every evening eating in backyard, a mother fox and her pups playing in the yard across the street. If we ever come back we will definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

We felt at home immediately.. Perfect in every way, The neighbors (deer) were friendly and the birds were always singing and happy. We highly recommend this home.

Great weekend in BV. Very close to town. Quiet street. Plenty of parking. A great littlehouse. Well stocked with everything you need!!!

We fell in love with this place. When we arrived, there were mule deer in the yard snacking on fallen bird seed. They showed up multiple times over the weekend. Birds galore! The property meanders down to a beautiful creek. Inside, the whole place just had an overall feeling of specialness. The live plants including a window filled with many different orchids in bloom were so beautiful and not something you typically see in a vacation rental. The upstairs master loft and shower were extremely cozy and inviting. We really enjoyed sitting in front of the fire in the living room. So warm and soothing. The kitchen and bathrooms were so well stocked with basic supplies and more. The over all attention to detail and comfort and the welcoming nature of this home make this a five star stay. I feel that the pictures don't do it justice. Do yourself a favor and visit!

We stayed in a beautiful and well kept home in a quiet neighborhood. The days were sunny and we walked to the downtown area. The house welcomed us with the scent of spiced apple tea. Each room felt like home. Would like ti visit in the Spring.

Two friends and I rented this awesome house for two nights. There are three bathrooms and for three women, that is luxury. The house was spacious and we all had our own space. The master bedroom is just spectacular, the natural stone double size shower is the cherry on top. The kitchen had everything you need and more, cooking spray to crockpot. There was a coffee maker and a Keurig. Many things had little instructions next to them such as the jetted soaking tub and fireplace, this took the mystery out of things I’ve not used before and didn’t want to accidentally break or mishandle. The TVs were all good sized and lots of options such as cable or Netflix. The owner was a great communicator as well. Abundance of linens and little things like lotion and Kleenex were above and beyond touches to a well maintained and cared for space. It was private despite having neighbors close. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable but would not work for a tall person. I am 5’3” and it just fit me head to toe. I can not recommend this house enough!

The thoughtful touches and warm welcome we received was just the beginning of a great stay. The home is nicer than the photos depict, but it’s the small details that make us come back. Coffee, tea provided. Shampoo and soap, provided. It was the birdseed that tipped the scales. Every morning, outside the large kitchen windows, a bird show takes place. Whenever you are in this area, please stay and say hello to the birds.

This property was wonderful. Felt so much like a home as so well appointed, clean and stocked, close to everything in town and easy to get out of town for hikes and sightseeing. Will not find a better place in BV.

This place has been professionally remodeled. It has a large fenced yard. It sits in town next to Cottonwood Creek. Can't ask for anything more!

We would drop everything to come back here. The home treated us like a King and Queen - everything one would want in a get away house AND thank you for being dog friendly!

Awesome property! Super cute house. Kitchen is well stocked (we did a ton of cooking!) Yard is fenced in which was nice for the dog! Had a lovely gas fireplace which made the living area extra cozy. We had issues with the carbon monoxide detector going off and owners/ property manager were super responsive, got the gas company and furnace repair out there immediately, and got a new CO detector the same day. So great that they had a working CO detector! And they were super helpful with getting the problem fixed. Nicely located in town too, easy to walk everywhere really. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed in Buena vista and skied at Ski Cooper. The house was nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, with both a coffee maker amd a keurig. We'r enjoyed or stay and would stay again!

This house was neat and tidy and had everything we needed for a family gathering. The yard was large and fenced which made it nice for our dog. It is close to town and convenient to everything. Would recommend highly!
