Very nice apartment in a quiet part of town. It was very comfortable and spacious. We appreciated the air conditioner since it was warm, and we were happy to have the washing machine since we have been traveling for 10 days. We really liked it and if we come back, we will definitely consider staying there again.

The only problem we had is that we had German sim cards in our phone, which did not work if we were not connected to Wifi. So once we arrived, we could not communicate with the person waiting to let us in. (We were also looking for a sign that said Maison Malherbe, but instead the sign said Maison Hugenot, which made us think we were in the wrong place). I walked all around the area looking for a sign or way to get in, and eventually asked a taxi driver to call. Once he did that, we were able to get in.

Für uns war die Lage sehr angenehm, weil der Ort bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen ist, die Unterkunft aber ruhig am Ortsrand liegt. Der zweite, leider etwas kleine Balkon, hat eine schöne Aussicht auf das Monument und die umliegenden Berge. Der größere Balkon ist gut mit Lounge-Möbeln, zwei bequemen Sonnenliegen und einem gemauerten Grill ausgestattet (Esstisch nur im Innenbereich). Entgegen der Buchungsbeschreibung stand uns ein kostenloser PKW-Stellplatz im gesicherten Hofbereich zur Verfügung.

Der große Balkon liegt leider mit Blickrichtung direkt auf das Haus gegenüber. Wir hatten auf eine schöne Aussicht gehofft, es sind aber nur einzelne Bergspitzen über anderen Häusern zu sehen. Die Unterkunft liegt in der 1 Etage ohne Aufzug. Gepäck muss über die Treppe nach oben tragen.

The apartment was very comfortable in a perfect location.

The location was superb & it was furnished beautifully. The balcony was really well appointed too.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it didn’t disappoint. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, bars, shops and the wine tram. It has gated private parking. The apartment is spacious and clean and everything you need is provided. Sunny balcony with sofas and sun loungers. Great place to stay.

The apartment is perfectly located to have access to Franschoek shops and sights

The noise the dining room chairs make for neighbours below. A carpet or chair leg cushioning would help to avoid the sound of scraping and moving of chairs I think

Perfect and secure location with good parking facility. A couple of walking-minutes to several restaurants. Balcony very convenient. The apartment offers all you may need. Megan gave us the keys and explained about the apartment…She is such a lovely lady and easy to contact for any questions. Thank you so much, Megan! We had a splendid time here!

Great location, beautifully furnished with all amenities needed to be comfortable.

Not a deal breaker but the underfloor heating didn’t work and there seemed to be an ant problem but we fixed the latter.
