grote mooie kamer, goed bed ( medium matras, maar voor ons perfect), ruime badkamer. Algemeen mooie moderne gezellige kamer
Ontbijt was niet ideaal voor ons ( saus op kaas, ook op brie, zacht gekookt ei was eerst koud en dan een nieuw gevraagd, maar dat wat een "opgewarmd" hard gekookt ei...)

Zeer gastvrije ontvangst, moderne en ruime kamer met prachtig uitzicht over de omgeving. En heerlijk ontbijt! Het is slechts 15 minuten vanaf het centrum van Haarlem en 900 meter van één van de ingangen van de Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen (prachtig natuurgebied). Wij vonden het de ideale uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving.

Mijn reismaatje wilde niet douchen. Douche was helemaal open. Ik vind het prima. De buitendeur zorgt voor een klap op de kamerdeur. Best hard. Ben er wakker van geschrokken. Vraag wat mensen graag eten voor de ontbijtbox, hebben de helft niet opgegeten. Ik lust bijvoorbeeld geen brie.

Interesting hotel, just 3 rooms above a restaurant. The rooms are spacious with a great bathroom and ours had a very comfortable bed. Although the restaurant was busy, we did not have any issues with noise. The location of the hotel is perfect for visits to Haarlem or the beach, and there is a great park within walking distance.
The breakfast is unusually late, unless you opt for a pre-packaged breakfast that is provided the evening before. This unfortunately did not permit us to try the breakfast, which otherwise looked great.

In the room floor you can easily hurt one of your toe fingers with a ridiculously installed false step! And it happened!!!😤😫; please correct!

I needed to leave early in the Morning. The staff prepared my breakfast in the Evening already and put it to a box, so I was able to take it with me. I appreciated it a lot.

WiFi didn’t work, shower didn’t get very hot (Luke warm), if you don’t come with a car it’s pretty hard to access or get anywhere

Having the room towards the street it is unfortunately quite loud. Even though it is not a highway, motorcycles like that little s-curve.

The hosts at Vogelensangh were extremely friendly. They made my stay very special and I felt very well taken care of. The place itself is pretty, has all you need for a comfortable stay, and it came with a lovely view on the garden and fields. It’s an excellent location to explore the nearby nature, like forests, dunes and beaches. The food was also very delicious, I could have a private dining experience in the restaurant as a guest. In short, I have only words of praise, since I left relaxed and recharged, and that’s exactly what I was after!

The rooms were nice, new and clean, with a great overall design. I especially liked the table lamps in the new steampunkstyle. The bed was very comfortable.
The restaurant is great, the food is excellent, especially the fries.
Wifi was available but we didn't get a password automatically, and we couldn't find it displayed in the room.
The room has a mini fridge, within it was one coke, some chips, and no pricing.
The bathroom lighting is insufficient. There was no soap when we got there, and no place to hang the towels near the sink.
The first night was a bit noisy, we thought the restaurant beneath closed at 21.30, but it seems to be open longer.
The plastic cacti on the windowsill contribute nothing to the room decor and should be removed.
