Front Desk is exceptionally run. Lovely People. 'Lobby Lounge' is an added bonus and obviously appreciated by guests. GREATLY appreciated the privilege of storing our luggage AFTER checking out (!) for seven hours (!) due to our later-in-the-day departure flight.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with the hotel-but travelers take note: The Japanese-Australian restaurant 'next door' closes at 9 p.m. NOT at 10 as is declared on posted sign entrance. We entered at 9 p.m. and a woman shouted at us rudely and made a knife-to-throat slicing gesture with the flat of her hand: 'WE'RE CLOSED!' We were both very put-off by this. There are many restaurants nearby but be careful with closing times. Better to phone rather than trust online info.

Perfect location, so close to everything. Very friendly staff, clean and tidy room, a little dated.

Didn’t have a washcloth or shower cap in the room when I arrived, had to ask at reception for them. It wasn’t really a problem but it would have been nice to be able to freshen up straight away instead having to get the missing items first.

Arrived early on cruise ship. Appreciated that it wasn’t a problem to drop off luggage early to have it safely stored. Spent the day touring and then rooms were ready when we returned. Quick one night stay but everything was great! Helpful staff that arranged our ride to the airport the next day.

the bed was very comfortable and the room functional. The location was perfect and only a 2 minute walk to the conference venue.

No desk or table space and the smell from the bathroom drains (it is after all a very old building).

Very comfortable, clean and amazing location.

There is no breakfast, and it is in an expensive area to eat. However it is very central so easy to get around to find good places.

Everything was good. Christin and Penny were so kind.

The only noticeable flaw was that one of the cups in our room had not been washed properly, there was an oily substance on it.

Being in the old building, it looks dated, some cracks on the bathroom walls. Not so much seating place in the reception area.

The location is ideal the staff at the reception were very courteous and nice specially” Bidda “ and” Cristine “ they were both very helpful.

Room was tiny Couldn't pull the curtains properly because the bed was rammed against the wall with the curtains stuck behind it!! Taxi didnt want to park outside on busy road

Great location; near to the train station (so easy to get to/from the airport), near to buses and light rail (tram) services, short walking distance to Darling Harbour, and walkable to Circular Quays, and being opposite the QVB and close to Town Hall made it simple to find on a map and navigate to - all important factors when staying in Sydney on my own and for the first time. There were also lots of places nearby for eating &/or buying snacks etc, so really convenient - and having a kettle and fridge in the room was brilliant.

It was really helpful that I could leave my suitcase there on both arrival and departure days, and there were security labels attached, but it would’ve made me feel more comfortable if the left luggage was locked away in a room.

Great location close to the QVB, Town Hall, and the State Theatre

Excellent location, the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The extra snack and water are lovely unexpected bonus! The amenities on offer are also pretty handy if you need any, eg. comb, face towel, hair conditioner, body lotion, etc.

Great location with nice view of QVB and city skyline. Easy check in and check out. Wifi included. Room clean. Room small but as advertised. Complimentary snacks provided.

Air conditioning a bit noisy, and my room was next to the lift/elevator so there was some noise from that too. I had requested a quiet room (which I think they had tried to accommodate, because I was on a higher floor which I appreciated), so it was a bit disappointing that there was still some noise from the elevator.

Location was great

We had 3 rooms booked and requested an early check in to get ready for a family wedding . They couldn't even provide 1 room . Daughter in law had to get ready in the lobby toilets not ideal 😒

I like the hotel location. Also i like the bed linen which is new, clean, pressed and with higher thread counts. Plus we received welcome bottled water and snacks. In addition, there are free water, coffee, tea, and cookies in the lounge area.

The hallway light is a bit dark and less hooks to hang towels in the washroom.

Very centrally located motel that was very easy to get access to from Public Transport. My room was upgraded which was very much appreciated and welcome after a long day travel. Nice little touches with freebies available in the room. VERY east to access from public transport.

Only thing I was looking for was a facewasher. When I realised they weren't in the room but available, the reception wasn't opened. Wasn't a huge issue, I just walked over to Woolworths and bought one
