The property was great. Everything worked well. The golf cart was helpful & also saved $ from renting one, though we may not have opted to do that as we ended up driving to the public access beach. It was too hot to use the hot tub. 4 those looking @ this home, the downstairs worked well for a family with kids - a private queen bedroom (though it was small for a queen) & a bathroom, 2 couches (1 a sleeper), & a bunk with trundle. All sound from the 2nd floor was amplified - chairs being moved across kitchen floor was loud enough to wake us from a sound sleep. Normal footsteps sounded like stomping. We ended up using ear plugs & keeping the fan in the bathroom on. Also, there is no covering on the door window next to the bunk, so we used a personal sheet to block this, as the sun rose at 5:30 am- bright & very hot. The Beach was an entirely new experience for us seasoned Floridians. All within walking distance was "private beach" with entire ocean blocked off with single umbrella/2 chair rentals for $80/day. The small public access beach also had these. You cannot be against the ocean until after 5 pm, when they remove these rental umbrellas. They are placed so close together that it is actually intrusive to walk between them. Tents allowed only on back 1/3. There were 5 rows of people from dune to ocean, packed in tight. There were helicopters flying above, & airplanes, and everyone's music competing. It was not a relaxing beach. Loved the house, not the beach.

We enjoyed the different levels of space for our fun family getaway!! The beach was easily accessible, the pool was enjoyed completely and the hot tub sealed the deal!! We cooked on the grill for burger night but also enjoyed several local places for awesome seafood!! Thank you for a great time!!

We enjoyed staying at the house. Everything was as advertised. The beds were comfortable and kitchen worked perfectly. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. The beach towels worked great. We’d definitely use the house again!

Property was lovely and absolutely as described. The house was very clean upon arrival and Joan checked in with our group a few times during our stay. This was a top notch rental!! Perfect spaces for group gatherings, whether you want to sit by the hot tub, in the game room, in the living room, or in the dining room! Our party of six had plenty of space for socializing. The beach was a short ten minute walk away and the house had a wagon available to help get our stuff to the beach. What a great stay…thank you Joan and team for the memories! Note: Make sure to pack a laundry and dish washer pod - these are not included with the amenities and are required if you use any dishes or beach towels. The house does come with dishwashing liquid soap, but who wants to wash dishes by hand on vacation? Haha! You can also pick these up at the local Publix.

This house was great. We spent 5 days here in early March for spring break. This house is giant and can sleep many many more people than what we had (5). The golf cart died while we were there and the owner found another one within 24hours. The “heated” pool was too cold to swim in, but the hot tub was fantastic. One bummer was that you could not leave the golf cart at the beach. You had to drive your family, unload beach stuff and then drive back to the house and walk to the beach. There was a parking lot, but it was just as far a walk as the house. This really was like a 5-10 minute walk.. at most. Overall, a great vacation.

I can't say enough good things about our entire experience at this very nice home. Joan made the entire vacation experience from setting up the week and through the pre-vacation, the week in Destin, and the close out very nice. The home provided all of my children's families enough space to enjoy each other in the family space, yet privacy on the upper and lower floors. We loved the beach and the use of the golf cart is very much appreciated. We played family games in the evenings after the long sunny days on the beach. It was a vacation that I believe my kids and grandkids will remember with fond memories for many years to come.

We all enjoyed the stay at Miramar beach.

The house had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and close to the beach! We will be back!
