Staff behavior is really commendable

The breakfast was amazing! It was very tasty and different varieties of food were there. I loved the location, lots of greenery was there. The service was great, the staff was really sweet and provided us with anything we needed.

The beds could have been more comfortable. It was difficult to sleep.

The location is good. However, far off from the city.

No value for money. They call it Presidential Suite to a single room unit charging us a bomb whereby not providing refrigerator in d room, no hot water in shower, having miniature bed instead of king size bed, no intercom. We simply had to cancel our booking for d next day considering all d above points. Not recommended at all considering the price they charge.

1) Pleasant and Courteous Staff. 2) Landscaping and Cleanliness of the Property.

1) The Superior King Room (#109) - no ventilation and zero soundproofing between rooms (they've reassembled a traditional Kerala style house with wooden walls and ceiling). We had some men in the adjacent room who checked-in sometime after midnight and were talking loudly in Malayalam abusives which were clearly audible in our room. Not at all a pleasant experience. 2) Need to ascend and descend 2 steps each to enter the bathroom - an unnecessarily complicated design to retain the traditional look of the room and one that is not at all ideal for the elderly. 3) Breakfast was average, coffee was bad and dinner was passable. 4) No attractions in the vicinity of the property apart from a neighboring Cardamom plantation. Periyar Tiger Reserve is 24 km/45 mins and Ramakkalmedu is 19km/35 mins away. 5) WiFi signal reception was poor.
