The apartment is centrally located near a metro stop, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The furnishings are older but clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Separate AC units in the living room and each bedroom, plus 2 fans. There are 2 bathrooms but only one has a shower. Plenty of hot water for 4 people to shower, but you have to remember to push a button on the power panel 15-to-30 minutes before you shower to activate the water heater. The kitchen is suitable for preparing simple meals - plenty of plates, cups, and glasses, but not many cooking utensils (e.g., no large knife for chopping meat & vegetables). The beds are large and comfortable. The 2nd bedroom has an additional twin bed but no closet. There are also a few boardgames and a video game console, so this would be a great place for a small family. Overall, very good value for the price.

No major problems. The AC units seem to shut off randomly in the middle of the night (perhaps they are controlled remotely?), but the apartment remained comfortable even though the weather was very warm (~95 degrees F). Street noise isn't too bad, but on Saturday nights you will hear people having a good time at the nearby restaurants and bars. The terrace is very large and would be a fine place to sit & have cup of coffee in the morning, but there is not much of a view.

The size of the rooms, the number of beds available the fact that they were real beds, the fact that the apt ACTUALLY fit 5 people VERY comfortably, being close to Plaka and the Acropolis, the fully equipped kitchen including oil, vinegar, salt, etc (stuff that you have a hard time finding in small packets). I wish this apartment was the standard for a fit-for-a-family-of-4 classification.

A Big apartment perfect for families. Clean and well organized. The Host is very Helpful and Friendly. Absolutely a TOP choice for Athens, just in the centre, located between Syntagma and Ermou. Metro, Plaka, Monastiraki, Acropolis....everything near. A perfect place for a beautiful holiday in Athens!

All is ok

The apartment is in an ideal location. From here, many sights can be reached on foot. The owner is very helpful and he also gives you a lot of information about your destination and the area before you arrive, where you will find good restaurants in the area, etc. Very handy, especially for the first day. Everything is well explained on arrival. The building even has a kind of roof terrace where you can also see the Akropolis. Although you stay in the middle of the center, we have not had disturbing noise from outside during the night. Inside it is spacious and clean. We would definitely come back here again!

Manolis was an exceptional host. As a businessman I appreciate attention to detail and this was in abundance. From weeks before, right through our stay and after Manolis was attentive to all our needs, well above the call of duty (arranging car parking, details of taxi companies, extra bedding etc. I was also impressed by his response to telephone calls, which if not immediate happened within minutes. Given the location, we would definitely stay again.

Very small things; iron and ironing board, long mirror in the hall, kettle a bit doubtful.

Best place to stay, between Syntagma square and Monistariki and not the hotel feeling at all. If you need big rooms, kitchen and bathroom with lounge, TV, balcony and the works... this is the place for you!
