I have spent 2 wonderful weeks at this amazing property. There was not a thing I wasn't happy about; the location (breathtaking, very private, in the nature), house itself:( very comfortable, completely equipped, gorgeous). I would highly recommended, I am very pleased!

Christine’s place was lovely and quiet, and more spacious than the pictures suggest. Everything was just as described in the listing. We had a wonderful time and would go back again!

The residence has the feel of a home. No doubt a family has lived there. It is cozy. It is 50 yards or so from the road, among thinning trees, with a stream passing along the property. There were three deer outside the window the first morning I awoke. It is a short drive into Woodstock, or a healthy walk of a mile or so. It is a short walk to the Byrdcliffe Art Colony. There is a television in the living room and master bedroom. I watched Netflix for the first time!! We hiked up the Overlook Mountain Trial, a demanding walk through the snow-covered trail. The parking lot for the trial is a short drive up the mountain from the home, across the street from the Tibetan monastery, also worth a visit. Stay at this house if you are in the area; sure beats any hotel. Elena met us at arrival, showed us inside, made herself available to answer any questions or solve any issues. We had none. I was in the area to attend a concert. Hope I have reason to visit the area again in the near future, and that the Spiotta home is not booked!!
