Perfect home with everything you need for a beach vacation getaway! Just feet away from the beach (less then 5 minute walk). Fenced yard if you have dogs. All the kitchen amenities minus a stove. Wi-Fi available. TV has the majority of streaming services, but also had an hdmi connection if you bring your streaming stick. We highly recommend this place. We’ve stayed here twice.

My wife and I had an amazing stay here! Very comfortable with plenty of amenities for us. A fenced off yard for our dog to roam. A very short walk right to the beach. Did I mention the heated floors…they were awesome! I highly recommend staying here for a single person or a couple who needs that quality time with one another.

I had a lovely stay at his charming jewel. My dear mother had passed away recently and she loved the beach. I wanted to honor her memory and morn her loss at a pretty, calming place. I brought my dog and was grateful that the beach is so very dog friendly.

Great little cabin that shares the backyard with neighboring cabin that works well for two couples with easy access to the beach... the dog friendly part of Stinson Beach. When not walking the beach with our dogs, loved hanging out in the backyard and especially enjoyed the fire pit!

Clean and cozy

A cozy property just a few minutes from the beach! Everything was exactly as listed, very clean and the host continued to check in to make sure all was okay with us. There were no problems, but I knew he'd be responsive if there were. We had a very relaxing weekend.

Loved everything about our stay, location, back yard, kitchen and all the little touches. We plan to return soon. Thank you for your hospitality!

I stayed at Casita Azul for four nights to quietly contemplate my birthday and heal from my father's recent passing. I was able to do both quite well. The Casita is a little jewel box - the perfect size, location, and price for a coastal getaway. I appreciated all of the conveniences the property had to offer, especially a well outfitted kitchen. There are a few excellent restaurants nearby, and the local store sells anything you may have forgotten. I enjoyed sitting at the outside table with my coffee in the mornings, then my glass of wine in the evenings. I cooked when I wanted and dined out if I felt like it. The property manager, Colby, was professional and responsive. He followed up each step of the way, making sure I was comfortable and reassured me that he would be there if I needed him. The property was clean and comfortable. I look forward to my next Stinson experience at Casita Azul!

Cozy one bedroom, short walk to the beach, access to the best hiking. Cable tv and Roku were east yo use and great when we wanted to catch the playoff games. We stayed three nights. Hiked two out of three days. No oven to cook in but had stove, pots and pans, plates, bowls, silverware, good sized fridge, toaster. We bought food at the local grocer or take out. The town shuts down early so planning is key. Owner was accessible and easy to communicate with. Unit is a bit worn- could use a new couch and bar stools. Reading the other reviews was helpful and spot on. We don’t have pets but I would not have known that other renters brought theirs. Overall, it was a clean comfortable place to stay.

Overall pleasant experience with easy access to the beach. Comfortable nice bathroom. Window blinds do not properly cover windows amd need replacing. Very large table and stools in living room unsuitable for size of living room.

This tiny home is very well appointed and completely updated. There is an enclosed yard with outdoor table and chairs. We enjoyed eating outside. and our pup was secure in the yard. The property is a stone’s throw from the beach. The manager was responsive to our requests. This little house works very well for 2 people and a dog! We’ll be back.

We had such a wonderful stay in this home! It is only a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach and a short beach walk or a quick drive to town. Be sure to get to the store early as it shuts down right at 6pm 🤣 We arrived at the house, it has a shared driveway with the other unit but once you enter the fence on the left you are in a mini oasis. The yard is great for dogs but you do have to keep a bit of an eye on them as there are some open spaces under the house but the perimeter fencing was secure enough for both our big and small dog. Once you get inside you are in a well stocked cottage with just about everything you need. The couch is a little on the well loved side but still comfortable and functional. The bathroom and bedroom felt very clean and we had no problems getting comfortable and sleeping well. The radiant floors were quite nice given it was cold and windy during our stay. Overall, we would love to stay again!

We had a delightful mid-week, winter escape at Casita Azul and would certainly do so again. The driving directions provided by the host were accurate and the e-manual for the house very helpful. The location is easy walking distance to the beach, town, and hiking trails (we took advantage of all three). The bed was comfortable and the heated floors are the best! A perfect get-away for two.

Arrived at rental at 7:00pm to find not cleaned from previous guests. Phone number provided from property management to call if any needs went straight to voicemail and were not responded to until almost an hour later. We had our dog with us and could not look into any other stay options, plus Stinson has little options available anyway. We live 2 hours away so rather than wait in a dirty house for someone to respond and help solve problem, we disappointedly made the decision to just drive home and sleep in our own, clean bed. Cell service issues in the area made calling again - as well as trying to seek help from vrbo rep who we tried to speak to twice and had to do much repeating on both our parts as his accent was very thick, and then the call would drop- difficult. An hour into our drive when cell service returned we had a response email from property manager. His response was that there was a calendar mix up with cleaners, the first night would be refunded, we could find extra linens in a drawer and change bedding, cleaners would come in morning. Our response was this was unacceptable - used wet towels in bathroom, used products in bathroom, unclean kitchen - unsanitary and not up to covid standards for sure- request full refund. His response was unable to do that. Multiple emails later, owner of property did the right thing and canceled our reservation and made full refund. Problem was resolved but experience and timely process to get it resolved was a bad experience. All of our previous Vrbo experiences have been seamless so this was so disappointing, and we have two vrbo reservations lined up in the coming months and are now worried about having a bad experience as both locations will not allow us to drive home if there is a problem. We also purchased the travel insurance for this recent trip - as well as the upcoming ones - and would like a refund for this trip as it was canceled by the property owner and we never got to have the trip experience. I have tried to call the insurance company yesterday and the wait time would be long so opted for them to return call and no one called back the entire day - not happy about that as well. We have stated at a different vrbo rental in Stinson with wonderful experiences. The owner of this recent one resolved for us, but in future trips we will never choose any properties managed by Colby Gilbert at Stinson Beach Property Management as his handling of this event was poor.

My daughter and I stayed at this beautiful cottage just a few houses away from Stinson Beach for a weekend and can't wait to come back again! The bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable and my daughter made herself at home in the pullout couch that made into a bed in the kitchen/TV room. We watched movies chosen from numerous entertainment options like HBO and Netflix to name a few and cozied up to make meals each night we were there. Downtown is just a short walk or drive but we loved being so close to the beach most. The backyard was comfortable with an outdoor shower and fire pit too. We were given clear, thorough directions at Check In and our host checked in to see if there was anything needed during our stay.

We loved this cute little place a stone's through from the beach. Our dogs were in heaven running on the beach. The yard is enclosed, which is also great for the dogs. If you have escape artists there are a few weak points in the yard, but (especially if your dog isn't motivated to get out) it's a great setup to chill while the dogs run around. For us, the joy of staying here is relaxing at the cottage, in the yard, or at the beach, all of which we would want to do with the dogs anyway. The yard is a great setup to hang and relax, but for us the rain kept us from taking full advantage this time. The landscaping is beautiful and makes the yard very appealing, with a table & chairs and a fire pit. The outdoor shower is great as well (the indoor one is also quite nice)! One of our dogs gets very unhappy when he is subjected to a cold hose, so he loved the luxury of the warm water when we had to het the beach off him before going inside too! We look forward to coming back in better weather! It was everything we hoped it would be!

We had a great stay in the casita (two people and one dog). We walked on the beach every day- it's right there at the end of the street! We went into San Fransisco for a day, which was not difficult to get to either. We also just hung out at the casita to do work, which was extremely comfortable too. A+ trip!

We stayed here 3 nights while I was in the area for work. It was a great home base and the location is amazing. Very short walk to the beach. The house is small but well appointed and cozy and comfortable for a couple. Would stay there again.

Cute and just the right size for a get away to the beach. The gated garden area was enjoyed by our dogs. The beach is just a short walk through a nice trail. The weather was perfect and the sound of waves, sea birds along with long walks on the beach made our trip special and memorable.

This rental is lovely! It was perfect for me and my doggie. It is literally just 4 houses to beach. That was a dream for me, and my dog loved it too. The yard is fully fenced so I could leave the french doors open and she could wander out and lay in the sun. The inside is exactly as pictured and has a dishwasher which I think is a huge benefit on vacation. One day I walked into town and one day we hiked to the summit of Mt. Tam which is nearby. I was so sad to leave. I can't wait to return.

We loved our stay in this sweet beach cottage. Very close to the beach and easy walk into town. The cottage is fully stocked and comfortable. Dogs loved sniffing in the yard or snoozing on the deck surrounded by a lovely beach garden. Already missing it - will definitely come again!
