My wife and I came for a couple of days to enjoy the relaxing mountains and to escape the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. This cabin was perfect for that. Cozy and close to downtown Bryson which is a beautiful small town. We would recommend and would love to come back.

Stayed for Polar Express in Bryson City over New Year Eve/Day. Beautiful property not near anyone else. Great views. Hot tub and fire pit overlooking mountain valley was perfect. Weather was great but glad I had my Jeep Gladiator to get around as it is a very rugged road. Will definitely stay again in the future.

This is a well-built cabin with all the amenities we were looking for - privacy, fireplace, hot tub and beautiful mountain vistas. We loved it and look forward to a return visit!

House and view was beautiful. Downstairs bedroom has a cable outlet , but no tv. A small tv would be nice. Also in that bedroom mattress is very firm, not a great mattress. Otherwise, property is wonderful

Beautiful. Serene. Romantic. Breathtaking. Secluded. We stayed at Dreamcatcher as a romantic way to celebrate our 40th anniversary. After a couple days of the maelstrom that is the Orlando amusement parks with some of the grandkids, the blissful peace, serenity and spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains was exactly the right place to recuperate. Sunsets have never been an planned event in our lives until we stayed there. Dreamcatcher was everything shown in the listing and maybe a bit more. The cabin was clean, fresh and very comfortable. Thoughtful amenities abound. Chances are if you wanted some little item, it was there and in a very convenient spot. Check-in was smooth. Just make sure you have the required entry info before you head up the mountain because until you connect to the cabin’s wifi, data connections can be sporadic. And, yes, the drive up to Dreamcatcher is notable. We originally minimized what was said in other reviews but if you’re renting a vehicle, choose an SUV to handle the gravel road up the hill. Having said that, if you want the view, you gotta’ get up the mountain and it is well worth it! Overall … an awesome place to stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The cabin was wonderful, seemed really new, very clean and cozy, and really well stocked. I can’t image you could get a better view than the one at this cabin because you are literally almost on the top of the mountain. We all loved the hot tub too! My family had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone with only one caveat, you have got to have AWD or 4x4 and you can’t be scared of mountain steep gravel winding roads. If you are good with that than you can’t pick a better cabin to stay at.

Our stay at the Dreamcatcher was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty that surrounded us. The cabin, exceeded our expectations by far! I will say it had rained a lot in the days leading up to our arrival which made driving up the mountain a bit tricky but the next day there was someone smoothing and maintaining the roads. The layout was perfect for our family, offering ample space and privacy. The cabin was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We were particularly impressed with the comfortable beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep after our adventurous days. One of the highlights of our stay was the private hot tub, where we could unwind and soak in the breathtaking mountain views. It was the perfect way to relax and rejuvenate after exploring the area during the daytime. We spent evenings gathered around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and under the starry night sky. The thoughtful inclusion of these entertainment options made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. From the breathtaking views and comfortable accommodations to the outdoor amenities and family-friendly entertainment, every aspect surpassed our expectations. We highly recommend this mountain paradise to anyone seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway.

We absolutely loved our time at the Dreamcatcher. The cabin was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and well stocked with everything we needed for the perfect week of relaxation in the mountains. The sunset views from the deck were incredible. The drive into Smoky Mountain National Park was only 20-25 min away, and we enjoyed hiking through the park during the day and relaxing at the cabin in the evenings. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a slow-paced getaway from all the noise and traffic of normal city life. Our AWD vehicle was definitely needed for the steep incline up to the cabin, but we stayed slow and steady and had no problems.

We had a blast here for a birthday relaxation trip. The house was private and cozy. Beds were comfy. Our kids loved playing all of the games that were available. The only advice that we would give prospective renters is to make sure that you arrive during the daylight, and have a vehicle with either all wheel drive or 4x4. The cabin road is straight up a mountain gravel road.

My Wife and enjoyed ourselves, just wish the weather would have been better. The only thing that would ne better is to have checkout at 11 am not 10 am

The cabin is great, and the view is breathtaking! Inside was spotlessly clean and the grill, fire pit, and hot tub make the outside even more enjoyable. We loved our weekend here and can’t wait to go back.

The cabin was spotless. Absolutely spot on from the description on line. First class accomodations. We hated to leave, but certainly plan to return.

We were looking for a quiet relaxing few days and we found it. This was the first time we visited the NC side of the Smoky Mountains and are now in love with it. The cabin was perfect, everything you need and sooo clean and welcoming! Loved the outside fire pit and the hot tub looking over the most amazing views ever! The drive up was steep but no problems at all getting to the house. We will be back for sure!!!

Beautiful log cabin with outstanding views, even from the hot tub. Drive up thru mountain to cabin was pretty scary at first but we got used to it. Inside cabin was very comfortable and up-to-date. Highly recommend but bring toilet paper, laundry soap and dishwasher soap as there isn’t enough provided. Would absolutely stay there again.

Views were amazing, wifi was spotty. Wish there was a TV in 2nd bedroom.

We have stayed here many times- it’s beautifully appointed, high end furnishings, warm knotty pine everywhere. Can’t beat the views and secludedness. You will want an AWD vehicle for the gravel climb. Also I let manager know that the satellite dish may need rearranging due to new, lovely swing which is in front of it. Could not get/stay connected to TV. Thanks for another great stay!

A place that allows time to slow down and let the rat race of the world go away for a while. Giving you time to realize there’s still beauty left in the world to see. This location was simple, but yet modern so you could enjoy the arts of cooking and conversation which is one the main ingredients to enjoying time together. Wow, our stay at this cabin was perhaps our favorite vacation ever. The cabin was spotless and beautiful. Our week was complete relaxation. We shopped, visited several nearby towns and just chilled at the cabin. Follow the directions provided and you’ll have no issues. I would not hesitate to book again. Loved it!

The view from this property was wonderful! It's on top of the mountain as stated so all wheel drive is needed but so worth it. The cabin was spotless, clean, neat and beautiful! Satellite TV service was spotty most of the time, but not a big concern since the area has so much to offer. We would love to come back.

This cabin is gorgeous, clean and fully stocked. The sunsets and views simply cannot be beat. There are so many comfy places to take in the view and sip coffee or your favorite drink. The grill is top of the line and we used it nightly. The hot tub, fire pit, rocking chairs and swing are so perfectly placed. The drive up to the cabin is no joke. Believe the reviews when they say you need 4 wheel drive with some clearance. If you have the proper vehicle though it's really fine. The only problem we had is I couldn't find twin sheets to make up the loft beds. We didn't really need them anyway since there were only 4 of us in the cabin. We were also woken very early every morning by birds flying into the windows of the cabin and the side of our vehicle that sat in the driveway. The birds made an absolute mess all over the porch and down the sides of our vehicle. A hose where we could have sprayed it off would have been nice or maybe add a few fake owls outside to try to scare the birds away. It really was the most wonderful family vacation spent in the mountains. This cabin is truly special and we'd book again in a heartbeat.

First time using Vrbo and I don’t think I will ever stay in a hotel again. Booking and communication was easy. The driver up the mountain was a little hair raising. I did not remember reading about needing a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle. We have an all wheel drive mini van and did just fine. The sunset was spectacular. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Hope to come back someday to do some of things we missed.

This was our third time here and once again, it was amazing as always. Can’t say enough about this special cabin. It has a killer view with amazing sunsets! We could stay forever! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We’ll be back again!

We have stayed at Dreamcatcher before but it is such a gem, we came again. It is up a mountain so give the right vehicle but it is SO worth it. Amazing cabin, wonderful beds and clean. Gorgeous deck, fire pit and the best sunsets right from your deck ❤️ 5 Star stay..
