We loved this property , great family vacation home. Beach and pool toys available on property for use. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need along with a lot of other things in the house. Comfy beds and lots of towels and wash clothes. The layout pictures in the photos don’t do this property justice. Great high ceiling in living room area, 3 bedrooms upstairs and master on the bottom floor. Way more spacious then we thought and beautiful property. We would definitely stay again. Communication with owner easy and quick. Short walk to the beach and great location.

My family of four (myself, husband, two sons, ages 18 months and 9 years old) along with my parents and sister chose the beautiful New Smyrna Beach for our family vacay this year. The Sasala House was perfect for us! The house had tons of room, a large pool, and was only a short walk to the beach, although you do have to cross the highway to get to the beach. No need to bring your beach toys or chairs! There are plenty in the garage. There were only a couple of issues we had to report, nothing major. Beware the "no see ums"! These little insects were out at night around the pool and on the walk to the beach. You can find a natural bug spray at the Little Drug Co. on Canal St. Thanks, Mark, for being so kind and quick to respond to our questions!

We had an amazing stay at Sasala Beach House. The house was very clean and comfortable. The boys loved the bunk beds and all of the books that were in the house. The pool was very clean and bigger than we expected! Having a screened in pool was so wonderful and there was a great shower right outside the pool area for us to rinse off. Another favorite area was the kitchen/dining. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you need for baking/cooking. There is a great pass through to the dining room table. We loved the living room and all the streaming services set up on the TV. Great bonus! The walk to the beach was as described...you do have to cross A1A but there is a pedestrian cross walk one street down on 21st for safety. Most of the time we loaded up the van, drove all the people and stuff across, and then one person would take the van back to the house and walk to the beach. It was very easy to back in near the bridge to the beach or turn around to get back out. Very convenient for the kiddos and the less mobile! We really appreciated the great communication with the owner and the property manager, they were very responsive and took great care of us. We didn't have any problems during our stay. We are hopeful to be back next year to this great house that accommodated all of our needs!

We were blessed beyond measure every minute of our week in this lovely, well maintained, and wonderful home! The host was accessible throughout the process, prompt to answer questions, clarify details. The location was a perfect distance from the beach, neighborhood quiet, safe, friendly and conducive to our family's enjoyment. The floor plan of this home had an amazing "flow" for our family's wide range of ages; the baby (and sometimes a few adults!) could nap without noise/laughter from the rest of us waking them. Kitchen & dining areas SO perfect for small groups or added family when they came to visit. The screened-in pool area was an ideal option after mornings on the beach! The outside shower is GENIUS! We kept soap/shampoo out there for cleaning up every time we returned from the beach - SO HANDY! Beautiful Master bedroom/laundry areas! The flow of this house was essential to our comfort, efficiency, and upkeep - upstairs bedrooms neat, clean, roomy, and completely adequate for people's privacy & sleep. We LOVED our stay!

While New Smyrna is reportedly the shark capital of the country, we had a fabulous time enjoying driving on the beach for the first time or walking the few short blocks if we forgot something. Mark was an outstanding host helping with a myriad of off the wall questions. The only shark we saw was the very cute tile on the bottom of our enclosed pool. Loved it!

We were in Florida for a family emergency and didn't know how long we'd need to stay. Mark was incredibly kind and flexible with the booking, which was very much appreciated. The house itself was comfortable, plenty of room for everybody to have their own space (we were all trying to work remotely and do online school while there). There were lots of added extras like a well-stocked kitchen, pool toys and plenty of towels and bedding. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our things. The pool was great and the beach only minutes away. There are tons of restaurants, stores and supermarkets only a few minutes away.We won't hesitate to book here again next time we're in New Smyrna. We went to the beach a lot and that was just across the street or you could drive just a block to enter the beach by car and a lovely park. Our needs were fully met and then some.

Place is in good shape. Pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures, but it is large enough! There are lots of beach toys available for you to borrow in the garage, so don't worry about bringing those. There are also several bikes. I would suggest you bring your own bike helmets (and locks) and enjoy a ride on the beach. We were surprised that people are allowed to drive on the beach in the area. There were no concerns about it, but we were always wondering if we should take the short two block walk, or drive. Oh the laziness of being on vacation! Wi-fi in the house works well. We did reset it once, but that was easy to do from the "server room". We had exceptional weather, so did not get a chance to discover the books in the children's bedroom or the fantastic boardgames until we were doing a "last check" as we were packing up. Also, the weather was a little cool still to see the Manatees just down the road, but we hope to catch them another time and did get a chance to watch the dolphins frolic. All in all, a fantastic, relaxing stay. THANK YOU!

We love returning to this house every year. The house is so spacious with everything we need for our vacation. The house is clean and tastefully decorated, and the pool is very inviting and, with the screened enclosure, we don’t have to worry about the insects. The beach and the intra-coastal are just a short walk away. New Smyrna Beach is so charming and laid back; we always find a new place to explore and new restaurants to try. Looking forward to next years’ vacation!

We have been renting homes and condos for mote than 20 years and have never rented a property in such poor condition. Pulling into the drive and immediately noticing holes in the window screens and overgrown shrubs gave us an indication of what we would find . First, I have to say while the property has potential to be lovely, it obviously is not properly maintained. Entering the living room, there was popcorn visible on the carpet and under the sofa. Hairpins could be seen on the floor so this floor had not been cleaned! There were multiple slats missing from the vertical blinds in the sunroom and master. The pool deck was black with mildew and the pool was filled with debris. The screen enclosing the pool was covered with large webs WITH large spiders! The pool furniture is rusted to the point of being a safety issue.Expecting that the rest of the house would be more of the same, we moved to the bedrooms. Pulling back the cover on the master bed revealed black HAIRS! We immediately removed the sheets and began to wash all of the sheets in the house. Going upstairs was more of the same. Broken ceiling fan in the loft bedroom (how is a house rented with only 3 of 4 blades on a fan), broken toliet seat in the upstairs bathroom and when flushed, the toliet would not stop running. There were multiple burned out light bulbs and the kitchen clock needed a battery. Both shower curtains were covered with mildew and the throw rugs had obviously not been washed in months. Of course I immediately called the Ocean Properties office to report all of these issues. Seeming uninterested, they sent a duo of housekeepers, who said the pool deck needed pressure washed. Since the property manager claimed the house had just been cleaned, in order to be sure the house was actually clean, we chose to clean ourselves and worked past midnight. Tim from maintanence was very helpful and did replace the slats on the blinds, batteries, and lightbulbs. He also brought new outside hoses. He said he would see about fixing the ceiling fan but that did not occur during our stay. The "gentleman" who was sent to pressurewash the pool deck was gone more than he was at the property so he didn't finish the job. He complained to us about how hard it was to find someone to work on a Sunday...honestly not our problem. We fixed a couple of bikes so we could ride...we purchased beach chairs also. We were given a check to compensate for the inconvenience..insulted.

I have rented this house the past 2 summers with a group of friends (age ranges from 21 - 30) and we love it!! It's a 3-4 minute walk to the beach and having the pool at the house is perfect to rinse the salt and sand off before getting ready to head out for the day/night. Because it's a more residential area the beach is not over crowded during the day as most of the locals are at work, the neighbors are all very friendly as well. There are a lot of restaurant choices within a few minute driving distance as well as Daytona Beach which is about 15-20 minutes away from the house. We took a few days and just hungout between the beach and house swimming, ordered pizza, rented scooters and explored the area...then several evenings we spent in Daytona (I would highly recommend Ocean Deck and Cruisin' Cafe) The owners of this house are amazing to work with, I guarantee you'll love this house and continue coming back year after year like we do!!

The Sasala Beach House offers every amenity you could want or need for a home-away-from-home vacation, plus some! It was emaculate with extra large rooms and living spaces. The in-ground pool is an added luxury, very peaceful and relaxing. There are so many extra amenties that I was not expecting, such as beach chairs, beach towels, extra bed linens, plenty of bath towels and a fully equipped kitchen. Another comfort was knowing the rental company was just down the road, they were every resourceful and helpful. New Smyrna Beach is the perfect beach vacation destination. The beach is clean and always voted one of the best in Florida. This Beach House is perfectly located, just a short stroll to the beach, close to all the restaurants and just a little over an hour to the amusement parks in Orlando. I highly recommend this house, without any hesitation.

This was our second stay for our girls week. We choose this location because it was a quiet residential neighborhood located within walking distance to the beach. The neighborhood while we were there was very quiet, no loud parties, which made our week much more relaxing. I especially liked the cleanliness of the house and that items were labeled for our convenience. The covered pool made for nice morning conversations at breakfast. There was a grill but we did not use it as there were so many restaurants to choose from and many delivered. The owners had a nice selection of menus. The section of the beach was easily accessed and very relaxing, just a short 3 minute walk. The shops and restaurants were just a short drive away. I was also excited that while we were there I was able to see a launch from Cape Canaveral!

I left an Ohio snow storm to stay at the Sasala Beach house. I really felt at home and found the place warm and inviting and clean! I also enjoyed the TV’s with cable and wireless internet. The location was perfect for reducing stress as the house is on a quiet street and just a quick walk from the beach (basically crossing the street)! However, when I wanted a little more action, the town wasn’t too far away with restaurants and shopping. You can tell the owners take great pride and care in this residence. I’d recommend staying here to any of my family and friends!
