Super cute and clean cottage close to shops and water. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 5 adults. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor space . We wished we had one more night to enjoy the fire pit. We will definitely use

We enjoyed our stay at the Cabernet Cottage, a clean and quaint place with a great backyard and close location to downtown Saugatuck. Lots of activity options for kids and adults. Oval beach is a short drive from the cottage, and visiting Holland and going for a ride in the sand dunes were highlights! Highly recommend Cabernet Cottage.

The Cabernet Cottage is perfect for my family - 5 adults, 2 children, and 1 teen! We especially like the patio area with the hot tub and fire pit. We can walk downtown and we all don’t have to be doing the same thing.

This house was perfect for our group of four and would be comfortable with more. It was stocked for us to cook easily. The hot tub was great and easy to manage. And it’s a 10 minute walk to downtown.

Lovely house with a nice yard. A fun bonus was the separate bungalow out back. My husband and I were able to sneak in a movie in peace while the kids slept in the main house. Easy walk to downtown restaurants too.

Basic but charming bungalow near town with lovely yard/ backyard patio area and hottub. The stairs to the second floor are a bit steep and the walls thin, but everything else about this sweet home is comfortable and easy. Great place for a get together with good friends or close family

We loved staying at this cottage. It had plenty of space for all of us to sleep and play games. The outside patio and hot tub were so much fun for everyone. It was very clean and the owner left extra supplies that we may have forgotten to bring. This cottage was located right by downtown saugatuck and very close to oval beach. The owner was very quick to respond when I had a question. I highly recommend this cottage to any group of people. Thanks Kim for a great week!

Our group of friends had the absolute best time at Cabernet Cottage! The photos very accurately portray the property and the backyard is the piece de resistance. Fireplace, grill, comfortable seating, hot tub, and the most cozy ambiance imaginable. We were spoiled by the fall foliage and warm glow of string lights while relaxing in the hot tub. Bonus deck off the dining room as well! Cottage is located ideally 10-15 min walk from downtown and the best breakfast place, Pennyroyale Cafe. Hosts had a very helpful book explaining how to use everything in the house and check out process. Book the Cabernet Cottage, you willl not regret it!

The Cabernet House was very clean and pleasant! On top of that the location was key!! A quick walk to all of the downtown shops and activities-you never have to spent your time driving or looking for a parking spot! The hot tub was very well kept and clean as well as that was a nice wrap up to are evenings. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others!!

We had a great stay at Cabernet cottage. The home was immaculate upon arrival and was stocked with all amenities you would need for a week long stay. The backyard patio was where we spent most of our time. It is private and shaded and just lovely. The street is quiet and just a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Ten out of ten.

Girls weekend
The cottage was very nicely decorated and comfortable. We had everything we needed except the sun! But we made the best of it and loved our stay at the little cottage. The location is perfect not too close or too far away from town and a nice healthy walk either way. I’ve been to Saugatuck five times and this was by far the best Vrbo. One little suggestion Dash we could not figure out where the breaker box might be in the cottage when we had bad weather in case our electricity went out. We looked all through the book and didn’t find any description of where it was located . That would help greatly. Thanks for a nice stay

Saugatuck - great experience
This clean, quiet, comfy and quaint Cabernet Cottage managed by Kim was perfect. The beach themed house was in a great location and short walk to town with great coffee shops, art and restaurants. Oval beach was beautiful with soft white sand, clear bottom and a long stretch for walking. Favorite thing was sitting on the red front porch rockers for early morning coffee and listening to all the song birds. Highly recommend.

Cozy and comfortable
Kim's cabernet cottage was the prefect get away for our family trip! Plenty of room for 5 adults to spread out and relax. The house is beautiful and stocked with the essentials. A huge bonus is being a short 10 minute walk to downtown Saugatuck. We will definitely stay here again. :)

Relaxing weekend trip
Our family enjoyed Easter weekend at the Cabernet Cottage and we had such a relaxing time. It was off season so downtown was quiet and easy to get into any restaurant without reservations. We did the hike up the steps to Mt Baldhead and that was such a breathtaking view! The kids loved the hot tub and the s'mores pizza delivered from Scooters Pizza! They had a great delivery service. There was so much to do and see and I hope to be back soon for a longer trip and in the summertime. Maybe a girls trip is in order for next time :)

My Granny's Cottage
Stayed here since we used to stay in this home as children. Home was wonderful. The precariously steep steps to the upper level are still there but with a more stout handrail. Absolutely loved most of the changes to the home. Hope to stay here again!
Code did not work on the entry door and could not locate the owner's phone number but the rear entry was unlocked so no problem for our short stay.

Girls getaway
The house was super cute and clean. It was centrally located within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. It was a great relaxing getaway for a girls weekend. The backyard was a beautiful oasis with the amazing hot tub and adorable lighting and fire pit. We will definitely be visiting again.

Perfect and lovely cottage
Clean, safe, comfortable and cozy, this cottage is quite simply Saugatuck perfect ❤️ Host Kim thinks of everything, from scotch tape to blankets, goat milk bars of soap to serving dishes and plastic containers. Thank you for this lovely weekend getaway!

Summer get-a-way with Mima!
It was the perfect stay from the moment we entered the cottage! The kids quickly found their rooms and checked out the hot tub and backyard! From age 5 to 70 we all had a wonderful time relaxing in this clean comfortable cottage after a day at the beach and exploring beautiful Saugatuck!

This cottage was wonderful!
My family stayed at this property the last full week of July and it was wonderful. Everything was clean and up-to-date in the cottage and the upstairs bedrooms were big enough for our two daughters and their toddlers. The kitchen had beautiful appliances and it was well stocked with cookware and dishes. The outdoor space was awesome! We spent a lot of time in the fenced in backyard on the deck and patio and we used the grill. My daughter and son-in-law were able to use the “she shed” for work and that was an added bonus. This was the best cottage we have stayed in - several of our extended family were staying in cottages nearby and theirs were mot nearly as nice as Cabernet Cottage. We would definitely stay here again!

Spectacular Place to Celebrate Daughter’s Engagement
From the booking through our stay, I feel like five stars is not nearly enough. So many little touches that did not go unnoticed. Hot tub and the extra building in the back which we dubbed the she shed was great for our group! Kim was responsive and very pleasant to work with. We are already trying to figure out when we can book again!
