The location of this home is fantastic. Close to the beach and tons of food and shops. Great garage for 2 vehicles. The house is in need of major TLC, but is cute. House layout is strange but worked out okay for our party of 8 (2 kids under 7 included) as long as you rent the studio as well. Beware of resident neighbor, who left a note wedged in front doors before we even arrived, very aggressively worded to remain quiet at all times (note said quiet from 8am to 10pm; no noise from 10pm to 8am). Not a very welcoming way to start the vacation, not to mention the security camera they have pointed right on the upper patio, giving you the feeling of being watched, or afraid to make too much noise. Same neighbor then smoked cigarettes all day that drifted into the house with our baby. If not for the rude neighbor and the fact the house needs major TLC, this is a great location and made for a great vacation.

It was more than enough room for the 5 of us. It was walking distance to beach and a very short walk to beach. Well worth the money. Will stay there again on our next trip out to San Diego.

Loved the Location and the property was very nice. The beds need new mattresses but enduring else was wonderful.

Our overall stay was great! Steps from the ocean and close to a ton of amazing restaurants and coffee bars. The house does need a little tlc but it was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for a girls weekend get away

Be advised...toxic next door neighbor, and property needs some TLC and fix-ups. If not the for the neighbor and some disrepair we would have had a perfect stay.

Great location for beach and Seaworld, the house is worn and could use some work/deep cleaning. Not as kid friendly as described (2 and 4 year old) and the beds are very squeaky and loud. The check in process was smooth, though it was not able to fit our SUV and car as described. Luckily we were able to park parallel to the garage door!

I stayed at this property with my friends for a birthday trip. The house was great and very accommodating to all our guests and the location was great! Short walk to the beach as well as the restaurants and bars. The host was very nice and helpful. Only thing I would say to future guests is to be aware of the neighbor to the west… she is not a fan of the VRBO guests and is very sensitive with noise. Besides that a solid 10/10

We had our family of 5 staying here for a wedding on the beach. The location was excellent, and having the garage for parking was a big plus. The property is a little dated/worn in spots, but it suited our needs well. We didn't have any issues on the noise ordinance in the neighborhood and appreciated how quiet it was at night since you are so close to your neighbors. There is no A/C, but having the windows open and fans going made it comfortable, even though it was very humid during out stay. Having beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels was a plus.

Even with a heat advisory and no AC in this neighborhood the stay was wonderful. Labor Day weekend. Not much crowds. The teens has easy access to beach and Belmont. Plenty of room for 2 adults, 4 teens and an 8 yr old. Thanks for the stay.

Great house. Quiet street. A little warm with no AC but they supplied plenty of fans for every room. Great linens! Boogie boards were shot and not usable but chairs, shovels and towels were great. I. Would rent again.

Incredible location that allowed for wonderful sunny days both ocean front and bayside! Home had everything we could ask for and fit two families of four quite comfortably! Enjoyed the early morning sunshine and evening sunsets on the third floor patio. Looking forward to returning soon!

A nice place for a two bedroom and a cubby with two beds BUT no doors. The description states three bathrooms but that's if you rent the studio below. The easy access to the beach make this place worth the inconvenience of two small bathrooms.

3 level house one block from the beach. 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, wonderful kitchen, dining area and living room with TV. Garage with washer/dryer and beach chairs/toys. Perfect in every way

We stayed at this property with my family of 5 plus my older parents. The house was well stocked and clean. We were able to check in early and that process was very simple. The house is literally a minute walk from the back door to the beach. The kids loved that even though it was a little cold for swimming. Lots of restaurants and things to see with-in walking distance. All the things nearby that we did included La Jolla beach to see the seals and sea lions, San Diego Zoo, Belmont Park and Midway Museum. If you walk down to the pier stop by City Tacos, we all loved it. Make sure to note the quite hours. It's a nice quiet beach neighborhood the permanent residents value their peace and quiet. Quite of few of the houses in the area are vacation rentals and the locals are quick to jump on anyone not abiding by the quite hours. It was nice for us because we were in bed early. Would recommend and if we ever go back we'll check here first.

While the unit could use some spiffing up, we have no complaints. Clean, well-stocked and conveniently located a short block from beach. Actual garage a great bonus in high-density limited parking area (and well-supplied with summer toys). Manager was exceptional...communication prompt and efficient.

Just a few mins walk to the beach and great restaurants easy to get downtown Gas Lamp District San Diego, and The Pier for our Fishing Charter. The location could not be better -steps to the beach or the bay. The house was clean and comfortable, and the layout (1 b downstairs, 2 up) was perfect for our group of 2 children, their parents and grandparents.

We had a wonderful time at this Mission Beach beach house. It was perfect for our family get together.

In the end we had a nice stay in San Diego. The management and property owners are terrific. The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults. The only caveat that I think needs to be discussed better in the overview is that the neighbourhood has VERY strict noise policy. The strictest I have ever experienced in the 15 years I have rented in this area. In particular, one neighbour was asking us to be quiet in the middle of the afternoon while we were sitting on the patio talking. This rental would be great for a family to stay at, or an adult group of no more than 4 people. Great location to beach and if you want a quieter stay...this is the place for you.

Location was convenient to beach and bay. Cute beach style house. Home was as described. House manager was quick to respond with answers to my questions.
