This was our first trip to Fuertaventura and we struck lucky with our choice of accommodation. As a family of 4 with older teenagers (17 & 19) Casa Elena was absolutely ideal, there was a huge amount of space indoors and outdoors, and the villa was really well equipped with everything we needed. As well as the terrace around the pool there is also a large rooftop solarium, and a more secluded rear terrace with a BBQ which is more private and sheltered on breezy days. The location was good, although it is a 20/30 minute walk into town where most of the restaurants are, but this was always enjoyable and you could get a taxi or use the many e-scooters instead to get around. There is a really cool beach bar within 5 mins that has live bands and DJs in the evening and very cheap cocktails, which was great for a "sundowner" before walking into town to eat. The town of Corralejo has a great choice of bars and restaurants, and a square with a music stage featuring live bands, which was a great place to stop for a few drinks after dinner. We loved the unspoilt nature of the island and the beautiful sandy beaches just a 5-10 minute drive away. There is also a hotel next door which had a great spa, which my wife and daughter visited for a treatment and use of the facilities, which was good value by UK standards. We also did a buggy safari and walked up to the caldera of the extinct volcano, which was great fun. Frank was a great host and very helpful throughout

We spent a great week here. Everything was excellently prepared and the contact with Frank was great. The house is equipped exactly as described in the pictures, the location is great and shops are not far. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We loved our stay at Casa Elena, it was perfect for our family of four. Both kids loved the pool and the slide and we all slept soundly in the comfy beds. Lovely views and great location meant that we had a super holiday. Frank, the owner, was so flexible and helpful when we had to re-arrange our holiday not once, not twice, but three times!! Twice due to Covid lockdowns and then due to a health scare. He was easy to get hold of and very communicative and really helped us to focus on the situation we were dealing with. Had a nice week in March with four adults and a toddler. Property is spacious, well presented and with lots of features, including indoor and two outdoor dining areas. Pool area can get quite windy so sometimes the back BBQ area is the only option for outdoor space. Also the amount of airborne sand means that the pool area can get quite "muddy" with wet footprints. The main drawback is the proximity to town - there is really nothing close to the villa itself apart from the beach, which is accessible right across the road. There are nicer beaches in town though - the local one has quite coarse sand, and lots of stones and craggy rocks. There is a luxury hotel next door which is great for cocktails, but it's adults only so we couldn't all go. The neighbourhood restaurant, Punta Elena, looks lovely but is dreadful. There is also a beach bar with live music but no food. It's a ten-minute walk to a small "supermarket" but in terms of anything BBQable, they only have bacon! There is a market area about a twenty minute walk away which has a better supermarket and other shops and cafes, and town is about half an hour. Frank is very helpful and has good recommendations for restaurants in town - our favourites were Rompeolas and La Marquesina. If you can't face the walk, for example the night you arrive, Jaipur deliver an excellent curry ;-)

Casa Elena had everything we needed to make our stay in the villa very enjoyable. We used the roof terrace a lot as the view out to Lobos and Lanzarote are amazing. A great place to sit and have your morning coffee. The villa is in a great location with supermarkets /bars/ restaurants close by. A lovely walk into the town of Corralejo along the beach took us about 20/25 minutes. The check-in process was very easy and the communication with Frank from initial booking to check out was excellent. We would happily book this villa again in the future.

The Villa was in a great location very close to the beach. Roof terrace had amazing views over to Lanzarote and Lobos. Living room was very comfortable and the bedrooms were good too. There was a nice welcome pack from Frank and Maria which was appreciated. Great communication with Frank from point of booking to finishing our stay in the villa. Will definitely stay again. This was our 23rd trip to Corralejo and will definitely be back. Finally, the heated pool was a lovely temperature throughout our stay and was cleaned regularly.

Splendid place for a family, super pool and roof terrace. Some issues with water supply to one bathroom while we were there but the owner was extremely helpful and friendly, and the problems should now be sorted.

Frank was great for communication and we really appreciated the late check out There was an issue with one bathroom only having water intermittently so could not use it. We reported this so hopefully will be resolved Had a wonderful stay here and would not hesitate in booking again

I would like to say thank you to Frank for sharing his amazing villa with our family. We spent 7 nights with 4 adults and a 9m old baby. The villa was spotless and very well equipped for all our needs. Frank the host was very welcoming in his emails and John the pool cleaner was a lovely guy. This is one of the quietest and most scenic villas we have stayed at and we have been coming to corralejo for the past 10 years.

Casa Elena is a wonderful property and we would highly recommend. The villa is spacious, clean and well maintained. The swimming pool and slide were a massive hit with our children (5 & 2) and also very safe. View from the roof terrace was amazing. It's round a 25min walk to the main town with small children slowing us down! Communication with the owner was excellent. All in all it was a great holiday.

Casa Elena was a very homely villa to holiday in. The size and layout of the villa was perfect for our family of 5 with 3 teenage boys. The location is great in a quiet cul-de-sac with a wonderful view from the roof terrace across to Lanzarote. It takes seconds to walk to the path by the sea to walk round to the main part of the town. Frank and Maria the hosts were great with communication ahead of our stay and with information regarding local supermarkets, restaurant recommendations and things to do. There was also a detailed folder waiting for us on arrival with everything we needed to know. The pool is a good size with a seating area that gets the sun for the first half of the day and there are a couple of other seating areas at the back of the villa that get the sun in the afternoon and evening. I would highly recommend this villa for a holiday in Fuerteventura.

Beautiful property and Frank was an excellent host

Excellent stay in Corralejo and the house was perfect for us. Location is good, so close to the beach and good surf break when the wind drops. Beach bar on the corner (Punta Elena) is great. Only problem is parking is limited when the surf is up and if you get a parking ticket the bureaucracy is nightmarish (pay via BBVA ATM in cash). Thanks we had a great time!

Wonderful and caring host who welcomed us in and insured we were comfortable and happy, beautiful grounds, and very well kept heated pool, the location is stunning and nothing beats that sun deck! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Casa Elena is a beautiful villa, perfectly located with a beautiful pool. Its is situated both far enough away and close enough too Corralejo town centre. It is a beautiful 25-30 minute walk along the sea shore to get to the town centre. The roof terrace is beautiful with a sea view and also a view of the port. Frank is extremely helpful and responds to questions and queries very promptly. Thanks for the use of Casa Elena Frank. My family and I loved it.

Lots of outdoor seating and comfortable loungers. The children enjoyed the pool toys and arm bands!The local area was great - we enjoyed walking to the small shopping centre 10 or so mins away with the children and was impressed by the market and toy shop! We also liked the walk to town and hadn’t expected it to be so easy. One night, we walked via the beach. A highlight was the pizza restaurant the owner recommended in Lajares. We also chartered a Catamarán and took a speed boat to Lanzarote which the kids enjoyed. Unfortunately we didn’t master the BBQ (couldn’t maintain the heat) but it was no bother and the kitchen was well equipped. We were impressed by the cleanliness and prompt communication at all times. We hope to return sometime in the future!

Frank's villa is both excellent quality and value. It is very spacious and well designed. The villa is obviously a family's holiday home and not a let by a holiday company that are so often on these websites. Nice touches like a welcome pack and quality information to greet us. Very well equipped kitchen; such a relief to have a decent kettle that doesn't boil plastic-tasting water, like the cheap ones! Decent beds, extra pillows available too. Frank has replaced the furniture as promised, all good. The outside spaces are superb, with more than enough sunbeds and chairs, and the pool is indeed one of the biggest in a private villa in the area (and very warm!) Like the island generally, it can be windy on some days. Lastly, do follow Frank's list of restaurant recommendations - brilliant! We would thoroughly recommend this villa for your holiday in Corralejo.

Lovely experience dealing with the owners of the villa, they were prompt to reply to queries, they were extremely friendly and accommodating (through email/calls & texts) before and during our stay. The villa was perfect for our needs as a family with young children and all essential information was given clearly in advance. The villa is spotless, spacious, well-maintained and far exceeded our expectations. The villa is located in a very quiet part of Corralejo , very peaceful and quiet all the time - It was too long a walk for young children to get to the town but taxis are very cheap and plentiful and there is a small supermarket less than 5 minutes away with the essentials.

We are just back for a two week holiday in this beautiful villa and I can't praise it enough. The villa is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The beds are so comfy and there is lots of wardrobe space with loads of hangers. The outside space is amazing, the pool is one of the biggest we have ever had and the slide just adds to the fun - my girls in their 20s definitely went back to being kids again!! The pool is a lovely temperature and perfect for cooling off on those hot sunny days. There are ample sun loungers and a a nice big patio table and chairs. There is a cut through opposite the villa and you are on the beach in two minutes and from there can walk all the way round to the harbour. The walk to the main strip of restaurants and bars took us approx. 20 - 25 mins every night depending on how far down towards the harbour we walked. We took a taxi back each night and they cost less than 5 euro. There is a supermarket just 5 mins walk from the villa and the big shopping centre only took us 15 mins to walk to and was well worth visiting on the Sunday for the market and a nice lunch. I am sure we will be booking this villa again in the future if we go back to Corralejo, it had everything we could possibly want. I can't finish this review without mentioning Frank who owns the villa. What an absolute pleasure it was dealing with him, every email was answered within a couple of hours and he was so helpful and kind, even arranging for us to be able to stay in the villa longer on the last day because we had a late flight home - thank you Frank, that made our last day a lovely day. Hopefully we will be back in your villa again in the not too distant future :)

We spent a lovely week at Franks villa. It is a lovely quiet area but close enough to the shops and beach. It is very well equipped and had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The pool was lovely and warm and we all spent a lot of time in it, our 7 year old spent hours playing and swimming and, of course, was especially happy with the slide. We were very pleased to find lots of inflatables which were all put to good use and returned to the large box in the utility. The beach close to the villa is rocky but perfect for taking a walk and beach combing. The main town is about a 20 minute brisk walk away but the cabs are plentiful and very cheap. As mentioned by others,yes,the villa is in need of some TLC but it is mainly cosmetic . The beds are comfy and there is plenty of hot water for showering. Overall we all had a wonderful stay , so thank you Frank and if we return we would happily book your villa again. ,

One of the cleanest nicest villas I have stayed in in Corrralejo .

We have stayed in a few different villas over the years in Corralejo & this has been one of our best stays to date . Frank was so helpful & very pleasant to deal with during the booking process & everything was as we were hoping when we got here . The kids absolutely loved the slide in pool . My family of three adults and three small kids stayed here for a week over Easter. The house is in a good location close to shops, restaurants, and beaches. It is well stocked and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was excellent. We enjoyed visiting the nearby 5 star hotel for its pool, restaurants, and excellent bar at sunset. The house is a little outdated and worn around the edges. The heated pool was not particularly heated and the beach you can walk to in 100 meters is more like a rocky strip. We preferred to drive to other beautiful beaches ranging from 10 minutes to 25 minutes driving distance. There is one nice restaurant right on the water about a 5 min walk form the house where we enjoyed cocktails and lunches. Our kids loved swimming in the pool. It is a nice place for a family holiday.

We had a great stay and would love to thank Frank and his team, place very well laid out and lots of equipment, toys etc, we all loved the heated pool and enjoyed the location, being so close to the beach and walking distance to town. We ll be back :)

we stayed for a week with our 4 children, the villa was exactly as described had everything we needed, location was spot on, frank was great giving us loads of info and really helpful throughout , we would definitely stay here again 10/10

Franks place was perfect for our group (Two couples and two toddlers). The property itself was as described and the heated pool was a god send as the sea was a little rough and cold for the little ones at this time of year. It was a 15 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of Corralejo (which we liked) but there is a beach and surf bar right on your doorstep. The kids playground in the 5 start hotel next to the villa came in handy as well. Frank was a great host, sorted out extra cots and high chairs and was very quick at responding to any questions we had. Overall, a great holiday.
