We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beach (which is fabulous) was 6 houses away..and we practically had it to ourselves the entire week. The cottage had plenty of room for a family of four. We enjoyed grilling out at the courtyard every evening (as well as stargazing every night). We only drove into town twice, as we had every thing we needed right at the rental. The owner, Frank, was gracious and helpful throughout our entire stay. We would not hesitate to recommend this to our family and friends. This was exactly the type of vacation we needed to fully relax. The pictures do not even do this rental justice..it was even better than we were expecting!

This was a beautiful, private house a short walk to a gorgeous beach. There were so many beautiful outdoor areas to relax and enjoy the ocean views and gorgeous landscaping. It was a short drive to many incredible restaurants and a cobblestoned Main St. Lined with many shops. We had a fantastic time as a family!

Easy check in / out process, communication with the property manager was easy! Bikes were a huge hit, a quick 20 minute ride and you’re having coffee in sconset. We will be back!

We had a great trip away. Frank was available to us throughout our stay and was very responsive to our needs. Property and beach area were breathtaking!

We visited in what is considered the pre-season (April), and found the area immensely quiet and relaxing. There are tons of deer on the island, and we discovered grey and harbor seals on the nearby beach to the children’s delight. The neighborhood is far off from the bustle of the downtown, and a short walk from a lovely expanse of beach. You’ll need a car or have to take a taxi to get out to the house, but it’s worth it if you’re looking to relax and have easy beach access. The house itself was lovely, easily capable of sleeping the four members of our family. Kitchen was perfectly serviceable and we had no trouble stocking up on supplies and cooking meals. There was a minor problem with the toilet getting hung up that required us to reach into the back tank to get the water flowing again that was minor but occurred a few too many times. Easy to fix, but not what you expect to deal with.

We loved our stay! We enjoyed the quietness of the area, the lovely deck and very comfortable home. We cooked on the very nice grille, went bike riding, and walked just a few blocks to the beach from the cottage. The owners were very accommodating and helpful.

Our family had a terrific time at this guest cottage off the main house. It had what we needed as we spent most of our time out at the beach, going to restaurants, or other activities. Frank the owner was incredibly kind with offering a binder of things to do and places to go, and was very responsive. We had a great trip overall - thank you!

"Twice as Nice" was even better than that. In truth, we never wanted to leave this wonderful beachhouse. A wonderful week and we can't wait to go back.

Excellent property for a couple with 1-2 kids. A lot of nice touches like bikes and comfy beach chairs. Not highly recommended for 2 couples but we made it work and had a great time.

We loved this property. Just off a private beach, friendly neighbors, lovely views from second floor deck. Owner very accommodating and responsive to questions. Car or ride service required for getting into town, but that wasnt a problem for us. I would definitely rent again.

I was pleased and the management was helpful and flexible.

Frank's place was perfectly situated just seconds from the beach. We enjoyed frequent walks morning, noon, and dusk. We brought our car, and access around the island was easy from this location. The property was clean and well-stocked in terms of towels, sheets, blankets, and paper products. Frank was incredibly responsive when I emailed him about the status of the coffee maker before our trip! While there was nothing that made our trip surprising or difficult, a few things that would have helped are 1) knowing that the second bedroom is accessed via a second door in the bathroom; 2) a manual detailing beach access, remote control use, etc; 3) the kitchen is well-stocked but small; a pantry to store food would be fantastic. Overall, we loved our stay and would gladly return. We highly recommend this property.

Great location to get away from everything. House was immaculate, quiet neighborhood and a 5 minute walk to private beach where we were typically the only ones there. Enjoyed seeing all the seals and deer. Very tranquil!

Charming home in peaceful Tom Nevers area of Nantucket. Beautiful views of the ocean and a quick 3 min walk to a private beach. Loved falling asleep to the sounds of the waves and enjoying outdoor showers. House was equipped with all essentials including beach chairs and towels and board games. Tastefully decorated. Owner Frank was extremely responsive to questions we had before and during our trip.

We had the pleasure of staying in Frank's home in the Tom Nevers Beach area of Nantucket. While all of the old charm of the historic the homes in the area, this cottage is more than meets the eye. While not a big home, there was a lot of thought in the design. It was just three of us, but we found we had plenty of room. The home was very clean when we arrived. There were plenty of towels (for both home and the beach), along with beach chairs, umbrella, etc. It is about a 5 minute easy walk to on the most secluded beaches on the island. Most days we only saw one or two other groups of people. The outdoor areas around the house (courtyard, lower and upper decks/porches and the wonderful outdoor shower) make the cottage feel much bigger. It is a short drive to both town and the Sconcet area. I also cannot say enough about our dealings with Frank. He was very accessible and provided some great tips for the island.

Perfect cottage for my boyfriend and I to get away for a week - we loved how close and accessible the beach was and town was just a short drive away. Loved every minute, thank you Frank!

This was my first visit to the Tom Nevers area (I usually stay in Madaket) and I'm a convert! The area was secluded and quiet but close enough to Town and Sconset to easily run out for provisions. The house was the perfect size for my husband and me. Beautiful view from the master bedroom. Easy walk to the beach, which was almost empty so it felt private. Frank was super responsive and accommodating. I'd definitely stay there again.

The location was perfect: quiet, across the street from an almost always empty beach, with great views from the deck. The house looked even better than the pictures indicated. The pull out couch was a bit uncomfortable and we are glad we didn't end up with the additional 2 people we had originally planned to join us. It was very comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies to cook many of our meals. I recommend having a car as it was about $40 with tips each way into town. It was a fantastic week away and Frank was incredibly responsive with any questions we had before and during our stay. We hope to be back!

Perfect location to get away and hear just the sounds of the ocean. Clean, updated house located in a peaceful neighborhood, but close enough to main town to conveniently shop/eat/etc.

The house was clean with plenty of supplies. It's very close to the beach access. A quiet and peaceful location. The owner was very courteous. I would definitely recommend this spot for a trip to Nantucket.

The property was clean and well kept. It is in a great location, steps from the beach. There is no one on the beach. You have views of the water from the upper deck. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice. The home is located between Sconset and the downtown area. I would definitely come back again and stay in this little cottage. A family of four fits perfectly.

Great location. Just the right size for the two of us. Frank was very accommodating to our requests and needs. We have been coming to ACK for 40 years and his cottage is lovely and in an area of the island we really like

Location was next to none but the cottage itself was small & extremely hot. The mattress on the pull out couch non-existent, was like sleeping on a park bench, saying it sleeps 6 is a stretch though AC would have made the stay much more enjoyable.

These are great accommodations. Quiet dead end road little to no traffic. The house is very well equipped for cooking and beach going. The house doesn’t have A/C but we actually needed blankets at night since the location near the water provided cool breezes. The house is so close to the beach you can hear the waves crashing as you go to sleep. You also will see the Sankaty lighthouse beacon softly flashing at night. The property was accurately described clean and very well maintained.

The house was clean and updated, best part was being so close to a private beach. Frank was responsive and was quick to answer any questions we had. The only thing to note is that you are far from town (~20-25 min car ride). We were able to call ubers but if you don’t have a car it can get pretty pricey paying for cabs. Overall we had a great stay!
