Marty is always available for questions, has great advice and a wonderful sense of humor. The location cannot be better. Great views, close to Popham beach, restaurants, lobster pounds, clams and oysters. Having a washer and dryer in the house is very convenient. Beautiful deck and the house is roomy and comfortable.We've already booked for next year!

Belle's house was a lovely spot. It was quite comfortable even with the daily rain we had. Our dog had a great time, other dogs around to play with. We had some friends visit 3 days and the house was very comfortable for them as well. The owners were very attentive to our needs and responded quickly and took care of us well. Enjoyed the local lobster pound and the oyster pound as well. Pretty area. Would rent again.

House was very clean and ready for us a little early. A plus when you travel with a cat! Marty was so helpful both before we booked and after. Answered all our questions and made many recommendations for food and activities. Both he and his wife Brenda are Amazing hosts . There were many beaches to visit like Head beach, Totham beach and Popham. Popham was like no other beach i have seen. Low tide presents a land bridge connecting to a rock island. Waves from two sides collide when tide is changing. No seaweed either. And lots of tide pools for little ones. Sebasco Resort next to Belles House has a restaurant you can walk to with an amazing view of Casco bay. you can get lunch or dinner and get drinks. We enjoyed eating at Spinneys (near Popham beach) and Lobster House both had excellent service and superb seafood. Short drives to most food and beaches(10 min to Popham) Give Belles House a look before you book your Maine vacation. 4 brs and 2 bath was more room than we needed with our family of 4.

This is our fourth summer staying at Marty and Brenda's house and each time we love it even more! They keep the place clean and fresh for every guest and they are always so welcoming and gracious. They are available for questions at any time, and they have made wonderful recommendations to us for special beaches, and sources of the best Maine crab and steamers in the area. This past visit we arrived on the later side and wanted to have lobsters the first night and Marty arranged for fresh and delicious lobsters to be delivered on the doorstep upon arrival! The kitchen has been recently renovated and the bedrooms are cozy, and the beds are comfortable. The view of the ocean is stunning from the spacious deck, and access to the water is around the corner for kayaking and walks out on the sandbar during low tide. Marty and Brenda also have beautiful flower boxes and they keep their property impeccably maintained--the expansive front lawn is a perfect space for croquet and other lawn games. We travel with our kids every summer to this special place and everyone in the family looks forward to it...this lovely and charming cottage is a special gem, and we recommend it highly!

It was a very enjoyable stay. It’s very pretty and convenient. We went for a sail with Captain Sean which I highly recommend. Ledge’s Pub is an easy walk and had delicious burgers and cocktails. Plus an ice cream shop. I’m not sure if you have access to the golf course and the pool is for people staying at the resort. We only used the downstairs bed which was ok. We took the plastic off the mattress so our sheets wouldn’t slide. Plenty of towels.Cookware and dishes can use updating. You should bring all your own supplies (spices, etc).It was a comfortable house with a beautiful view. No AC but we didn’t miss it with the windows open. We left our toothbrush charger and Marty was kind enough to mail it back! Of course we had lobster and got it from Crabby’s which was very good but there are plenty of options. Also clams and oysters from Clam Hunters. Definitely visit Totham and Popham Beach. Fantastic!

This rental is beautiful and convenient. The property is very well maintained. The owner is attentive and kind. We love it.

Quiet cottage with a great view. Marty was super nice, helped us with anything we needed. The house is very welcoming too. We found some restaurants in the neighborhood. Just be careful of iffy network coverage when you are out driving.

We really enjoyed our stay at Belle! It was a sweet house with a lovely history. The location was awesome as we were able to walk down to Round Cove every morning with our grand children. The house is located close to the Popham Beach, and an easy ride into Bath for supplies.

My 14 and 12 year old sons and I have been vacationing at Sebasco Harbor Resort for the last eight years. This was our first time booking outside the resort and I couldn't have been happier with our decision. This house was absolutely perfect! It's a great combination of nice privacy but also very centrally located, just a short walk to all the resort's amenities. The large front deck is wonderful, with a beautiful view of the cove and nice front yard for kids to play. The layout of the house is fantastic, with a first floor "master suite" and three additional bedrooms and full bath upstairs (nice for parents and kids to have their own space!). The kitchen is spacious, with beautiful custom cabinetry and everything you need within. And the living room looks out at the cove, with a couple nice gliders by the windows to enjoy the breeze off the water. And best of all, the host was wonderful! Marty is a very friendly, interesting and personable host, and was extremely helpful/responsive, including fixing a blind that snapped off a bedroom window just hours after contacting him. Thanks for a great week and we are already looking forward to our week at Belle's House next summer!

The house was very nice. Clean and had a great porch with a beautiful and relaxing view of the ocean. Quiet area. Not far from Popham beach. Property owner was available if you had any questions. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.

The property is the perfect size, fully stocked, clean, close to town and the beach. Marty is always great to work with and we will be back!

We came in from Virginia Beach to stay up in Maine at this little slice of heaven called “Belle’s House”. We immediately noticed the VRBO pictures hardly did the place justice. The cottage is charming and full of character, it’s breezy and cozy at the same time. Everything you need is at your finger tips, including recommendations from the owner as to where to get lobster. The view is absolutely wonderful at all times of day, in any weather. Marty and his wife went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic. It feels like we’ve gained family along the way. There are hardly the right words to describe this place, nestled among the beautiful Sebasco Harbor Resort and coves. We enjoyed waking up to song birds and sea breezes and we look forward to coming back as soon as we can.

Second time around and lovely again . Kitchen upgrade is wonderful.

Great home to relax and unwind listening to the birds, crickets and occasional lobster boat with the peaceful cove to view from the deck. What else could you ask for. Amazing owners who are easy to reach if needed and who are always making sure everything is going well. We hope to come back every year. Thank you so much

Great location on Round Cove and near Debased Harbor Resort. House is excellent and Marty is the best host! Only downside was the drought and water situation. We enjoyed our week and already talking about next summer!

Belle’s House is everything described and much more! The rental is well thought out and had everything we needed. It had many extra touches that gave it a “homey” feeling. It’s obvious that the owners, Marty & Brenda, love the property. We enjoyed every morning sipping coffee on the deck which overlooks Round Cove. Most evenings were also spent on the deck with the ocean breeze coming off the cove. The location is perfect - close to Bath, Brunswick and Popham Beach. As part of the rental, you will have access to nearby Totham Preserve which has a beautiful beach. With Sebasco Bay Harbor Resort close by, we were able to golf many times during our stay. We also enjoyed lunch at Ledges Pub and an occasional after dinner ice cream cone at the resort. Marty & Brenda truly cared that we had everything we needed. Marty offered to get us lobsters from his boat at a great price and gave us information on where to purchase the most delicious clams for steaming. We were sad our stay came to an end but we hope to be back summer!

I have never been to Maine, and I took my mother, grandmother and 16-year-old for a week's vacation here. This is the rare time where the pictures of the house were spot on. Everything was perfect and having four bedrooms was great for us. The pictures of the bay, though, can't really capture the beauty. It's something you can't describe. You just have to see it for yourself. From this house, we were able to travel to so many places. It was a perfect location. It's so easy to hop over to Bath, Boothbay, Bristol and even Portland. It was my mother's goal to see as many lighthouses as possible, and we saw eight in all. Everywhere we traveled was just a little over an hour from this house. The little Sebasco Bay village was super cute and had nice restaurants. I liked how the house was kind of off to itself, though, so you weren't right in the middle of the village. We definitely had privacy. The view of the bay from the front window was gorgeous. The host was also wonderful. I loved his Maine accent! The price was extremely reasonable for all that we had. I really can't say enough about this place. If you've never been to Maine, this place captures everything you think Maine would be.

The cottage is comfortable and well situated. The host is approachable, and the community is pleasant.

The cottage has had a huge renovation since our last stay. It was great to be back again! Proximity to the resort, beaches and Bath are all great. It was really nice to be able to bring our dog too. She loved running in the big yard! Marty is not only a family friend but also a perfect host! We'll definitely be back!

It made convenient to visit a lot of mains sites in short drive

We arrived to a very clean , charming home. It certainly gave an impression of being welcomed and part of the family. The house had lovely pictures of relatives and suitable antique furniture. The home obliviously was lovingly restored . The deck and outdoor furniture are wonderful and faced a fabulous view of the cove. Thought I would read more but the view was too enticing. We particularly loved the quiet neighborhood and walking our dog . It certainly felt safe . We appreciated the TV and access to many channels. Belle is perfectly located and not far from other destinations via car. Definitely a very pleasant experience.

Everything fit our needs and Martin is an excellent host.

We had family come in from CA and Co to stay with my family from RI. There were 8 adults and 1 toddler. The house was located in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the inlet. Marty was welcoming and brought us lobsters from his lobster business for one of our dinners. It was awesome to have fresh lobster right out of the ocean. He was prompt to take care of any need we had, which was rare. It is not in a touristy area, which provided a nice family visit without the distractions. There are touristy areas near by to visit. The area is great for walking and if we wanted to visit the Country Club for bowling or golfing. It was right there. I would highly recommend this home away from home. Nice, spacious home with some water view in Sebasco Estates. Well equipped with linens, pots and pans, and basic cooking essentials (spices, etc.). Looking forward to our next stay.

Every place in Maine, you have to make it your own experience. We are familiar with this area, but feeling like a visitor to family generational home was special. We hope to go back!

We loved the view and the quiet peacefulness. The house is beautiful, the neighbors friendly, and Marty has some wonderful stories! We brought our bikes and kayaks and loved exploring the area!
