Lovely location and tranquillity was perfect for family get together nearby

We spend a couple of nights here to see the dark sky reserve and had a fantastic stay. The house was clean, tidy, and warm!! We had a lovely time sitting outside and looking at the stars - it really felt like home.

A lovely little farm cottage just down the road from Siding Springs. Very quiet and peaceful and the best night sky you can possibly see!

We [2 x 50+ couples} loved staying at Mirrabrook Cottage. The travel instructions were excellent. If you are looking for a peaceful, bush experience close to both Warrumbungle NP and Coonabaraban this cottage is half way to both. The cottage was well equipped and I loved hearing the birdsong every morning and evening, sitting around the open pit fire watching the hills. A very relaxing place with everything you need.

We loved staying at Mirrabrook cottage! So clean and well appointed in a stunning location. We would love to come back sometime.. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The cottage was very comfortable, clean, modern and quiet. It suited us being close to walks in the Warrumbungles. It was also private with the owners living some distance away.

We had a wonderful weekend in this well maintained cottage. It is true to the photos. We loved the fire pit where we admired the amazing sky at night. Will certainly come back here!

Cabin is well-appointed and in a great location halfway between Coonabarabran and the Warrumbungles NP- about 20mins to each. On the deck you have mountain views and a babbling brook far from the madding crowds-what more do you want?! Host Kerry was very kind and responsive to all our requests- highly recommended.

Mirrabook cottage is spotless, modern, well appointed and very comfortable. It has a well equipped kitchen and laundry/bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The setting in the foothills of the Warrumbungle National park is wonderful with rural and mountain views, cattle, kangaroos, lots of birds and bright starry nights. We had a great holiday exploring the region and would love to return.

So glad we stayed at Mirrabook cottage. A beautiful location and a clean and perfectly appointed cottage - everything you need and more. Will definitely be back with the rest of the family. And the stars ⭐️ wow! The best stargazing we’ve ever done! Thank you for having us at such short notice!

Very peaceful, perfect location between Coonabarabran and the national park.

Mirrabook Cottage is in a fantastic location situated within easy access to the Warrumbungles National Park and also close to Coonabarabran. Its setting was perfect with stunning hill surrounds and a creek on the property. Our children loved the fire pit and were amazed at how good the stargazing was. Our hosts were very welcoming and the cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed and completely spotless. The heating made the cottage cozy and warm and we loved watching the sun go down behind the hills each night. We will definitely be back and will recommend Mirrabook Cottage to all of our friends.

Great for Siding Springs and Warrumbungles. Property was immaculate and perfectly described. Beds warm and comfortable and well heated in winter. The walks were epic and difficult but so worth it! Camp fire was great and night sky in big sky explorer country was unmissable and privacy was second to none. Shame about tours of Siding Springs but will be back again for the caves and other walks and great for escaping Covid. Thank You

Great location right next the the warrumbungles national park - perfect for bushwalking trip. Very pretty outlook and loved the fire pit. Would definitely recommend and come back perhaps in autumn or spring next time

Fantastic cabin in a great location. Incredibly clean and well provisioned. Enjoyed our stay immensely. If only the hosts had been in charge of the weather, then that would have been perfect too!

A perfect place to stay while visiting the Warrumbungles National Park! Located just outside the park, great views, comfy and clean with everything you need to self cater.

This property is blissfully quiet, set in beautiful scenery and equipped to a high standard. If your ideal break is to commune with the stars (it’s in a Dark Sky Area) and nature (kangaroos, birds and farm animals) then this is surely the place for you. The view of the Warrumbungles is superb, and all from your balcony. Though it is situated 17km from town this is a mere 15 minute drive. This cottage is a restful haven from the hustle of the outside world. Kelly, our host, was very helpful and showed great concern for our enjoyment and welfare. 5 stars.

We loved our stay at Mirrabook. Its a beautiful, quiet spot. The cottage is clean and a good size for our family of four. We loved sitting around the firepit and watching the stars at night. Easy access to the Warrambungles and observatory.

Perfect location. Had a lovely time. Fire pit was great and the accomodation was very cozy. Some outdoor toys like a hand ball or Cricket bat would have been great. The Tibuc cafe nearby was fantastic.

This cottage is conveniently situated for visiting the Warrumbungle NP. It has everything you need for a family or 2 couples

First impression - very welcoming hosts. Great directions got us there easily and tips on things to do were very helpful. The cottage itself looked a little modest on the outside but it was very clean, neat, modern and comfortable inside. The setting was serene and beautiful and the fire pit was just the ticket after dark. Facilities were more than adequate with all mod conds and room enough for our family of five. The well stocked kitchen - full sized fridge and definitely not one of those average set ups where there's only one saucepan, a cheese grater, a blunt knife and three mismatched crockery & cutlery sets - was also very good and better organisation on our part or a longer stay would have given the kitchen a better workout. It was hard to be motivated to cook breaky with Tibuc Gardens Café only a few minutes up the road anyway -yum! The only thing that could have perfected the place would be being 5 minutes stroll from the pub but that would only ruin the vibe. The only negative was that a weekend wasn't long enough to take in all the area has to offer. Lasting impression - we would definitely go back to the area and we would stay at Mirrabook again. We had such a relaxing stay at this very well looked after cottage. Everything you might need was anticipated and we just loved being off grid and enjoying time with our family in such beautiful surroundings. In a perfect spot close to everything but remote enough to see all the stars and feel at peace!

What a wonderful setting! Lots of nature all around; ideal location halfway between Coona and the Park. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen kitted out with all we needed. Be prepared for limited connectivity but the location, comfortable accommodation and welcoming hosts were more than worth it!

Lovely private cottage overlooking magnificent scenery, and with kangaroos grazing nearby. Half-way between Coonabarabran and the Warrumbungles - so perfect for getting into town for a coffee or going out the National Park for a walk. Our hosts made us feel welcome. Couldn't ask for more.

A lovely retreat at the base of the Warrumbungle National Park and the night sky was breathtaking. Cottage was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this place.
