This was our second time staying at the cottage. It is well appointed & very clean. A short drive into town. The wood fire & air conditioning were appreciated with the chilly Winter mornings & the beds are super comfortable. Debbie & Wayne are very welcoming & friendly.

Accommodation was good just one issue. Bedding at accommodation was poor, mattresses are way overdue to be replaced. Mattresses are like laying in banana hammocks and are very lumpy. But beside that accommodation was fine.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is beautiful and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The kids loved seeing the sheep and chickens. The hosts are lovely and were accommodating to our needs. Great location with easy proximity to the Warrumbungles and Pilliga - the perfect getaway. Highly recommend

Huge open plan mudbrick cottage with high ceilings. Very clean and well appointed. Friendly owner. Bush setting with nice vibe for outdoor dining on the deck. Swimming pool!

Private and secluded yet close to town and the Warrumbungles N.P. which was our main focus for visiting again. The cottage is so clean and the space is warm and welcoming. Hosts are lovely and easy to communicate with and very helpful and frIendly. We had a vey comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. We hope to visit again.

Had a great stay. Children loved seeing the animals on the property. Debra, our host, was very helpful and engaging to our needs. She managed to arrange a shower chair for our daughter who had previously broken her leg.

We had the most enjoyable time at Coonandry Cottage. It is a beautiful property close to the town centre and amenities. The cottage itself is spacious and unique which was built by Deb and Wayne themselves. They were very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to going back again.

North West Expo Stay
The stay at this property was very unjoyable. Easy to get to from town and as described in listing. Wayne and Deb were very accommodating suppling fire wood and lighting the fire for us each day. The kitchen is well appointed. I would recommend the property for a family or couple staying in the area.

We had a great time at Coonandry Cottage. The hosts were very welcoming, everything was clean and tidy, and the location was great. The cottage was peaceful and secluded, and still close enough to town to easily go there to eat or get supplies.

Great spot near town. Host super friendly and had the fire going for us when we arrived. Beautiful to sit on the veranda and see the animals. Beds are amazing to sleep in. Thought house was further away from main house but not a problem for us.

Delightful cottage
What an amazing cottage with beautiful views across the farm. Debbie and Wayne were great and helpful hosts during our 6 night stay. As keen bird watchers we were pleasantly surprised at the number of birds we saw on our forest walks around the property. Twenty six different bird sightings. Wow!

Quiet location- comfortable house
We stayed for 2 nights while we explored Coonabarabran. The house is located out of town on a small farm owned by Debbie and Wayne. It was great to be out of town - farm animals and space! We were lucky to have clear nights so could have a bit of a star gaze as well

A large mud brick accommodation in a quiet rural setting outside Coonabarabran. Sleeping area, lounge, dining are all in an open plan room.

Country charm
Property is just lovely and the owners lovelier! We felt welcomed and relaxed the moment we arrived. The bed was warm and comfy, it was very homely with quiet surrounds, abundant birdlife, equipped with everything you need. Very close to the awesome Warrumbungles N.P. and Siding Springs Observatory. We will definately be returning at a later date. Loved it.

Recommended for short or long stays
I thoroughly recommend this cottage farm stay for anyone travelling through Coonabarabran for short or long term. A very comfortable cottage with all the amenities you need. Good for couples or families travelling through. Central to all the usual tourist spots. Very nice hosts and one place I would definitely book again when I next travel.

Spacious room, quiet and clean surroundings.
It was very easy to book and our hosts were very helpful and accomodating about our dates. The farm animals added to the experience. It was a good base for exploring and hiking in the area. Even though it was very cold in August, we had a combustion stove and heating, electric blsnkets in comfortable beds. Beautiful sunsets.
The Warrumbungles and Pilliga are fantastic areas to visit, as well as Dubbo Zoo.

Coonabarabran trip
We loved our stay at Coonandry Cottage! The cottage was very spacious, very well equipped and has a great and interesting design. The farm was lovely with the paddocks, sheep, alpaca and chooks. Debbie, the owner, welcomed us on arrival and added such kind personal touches throughout our stay. She was more than happy for us to be involved in the farming activities for both my husband and I and our 3 teenage children. Highly recommend staying here for the whole experience! Thank you Debbie for your hospitality!

It is important the website pictures replicate what is on offer.
Generally met expectations- fireplace needed cleaning because it retained too much smoke.There was no BBQ despite the website depicting one for use.

Wonderful farm stay
This is a gorgeous property, just a 5 minute drive from Coonabarabran. Nestled in the bush there is no traffic noise and complete privacy even though the owners are next door. The accommodation has friendly owners and everything you could need. It was spotlessly clean, kitchen and bathroom well stocked and comfortable beds and sofa. We had travelled all night and arrived a little early with our 2 small dogs but were welcomed with open arms. Large yard for dogs which they enjoyed, however our smallest dog (a chiuahua/terrier cross) could escape through the fence but plenty of room to tie under shelter if needed. Our jack russell was fine.
Overall, a beautiful property and would definately stay again! Many thanks to Debbie and Wayne.

Great hosts and a wonderful cabin!
My wife and I had a wonderful time during our 3 day stay at the cabin. The place was spotless and cozy, the kitchen well equipped and the AC unit powerful enough to keep things very comfy despite the record breaking heatwave. We’d definitely stay there again.
