This house is breath taking. We took a group of students to study the Arts in France, it’s 15/20 minutes from the metro station. In an extremely safe small country town. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating for us, and close by if you need them for anything! We loved our time spent there.

We loved it. Shame the pool was not available to use but that is due to the weather. Maybe we will go midsummer next time and the pool will be the icing on the cake 🎂 . Easy access to Disney and Paris too. Highly recommend

We were greeted by a very friendly Manuel & Natalie upon arrival and given a full tour of the property and shown how to use all the appliances. The property itself has plenty of space with a huge garden and good sized heated swimming pool. The kitchen is very well equipped and all the bathrooms had lovely fresh towels. Towles for the pool were even provided along with bat and balls. The property was only a 30 minute drive from Disney Land and plenty of supermarkets were within a short drive. We stayed for 1 week as a family of 6 adults and 4 children and we would all recommend this property.

Everything was explained to us upon arrival. Every appliance was demonstrated so we knew how to operate it. We then had a tour of the property. The property is very well organised. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could ever need. Unlike other places I have stayed, here there was more than enough crockery and cutlery if you were to occupy it to the maximum. You could not ask for anything else in a holiday property. I will most definitely be returning.

We booked La Vie est Belle for a family celebration week. It had all the right attributes: spacious, beautiful garden (with heated pool!), great kitchen and large table, and ideal location: close to Disney and Paris. The house easily accommodated the family of seven adults and two small ones. For the smallest one (the baby) there was even a chair and accessories. We enjoyed the beautiful forests of Fonatainebleau, our visits to Barbizon, the hidden treasure of Chateau Vaux le Vicomte. We enjoyed an occasional lunch in one of the restaurants nearby but enjoyed also very much the cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen. The village of Cordon is quiet and pleasant: our seven old girl even joined a lesson in the pony-riding school. Last but not least: our host Manuel is a generous and warm and welcoming person. On revient.

Manuel was great. He communicated with us enroute and was waiting for us when we arrived. He gave us a tour of the house and made sure we were settled in. We had lots of questions about local shops and attractions and the train to Paris. The house, the play area for the little ones and the relaxing pool made it a great week. Thanks Manuel.

We rented the house for nearly two weeks in Juli 2016. We were two adults and two boys at age 11 and 8 years. The house is lovely and is equipped with everything you will need. The internet connection is very good. We had no problem streaming movies (remember your iPad -> HDMI connector) from Netflix etc. The garden is amazing. It is very large and very well kept and the kids loved the heated pool. There is no shops close to the house. The closest city (Brie-Comte-Robert) is 10 minutes away with car. The city has several restaurants, including a McDonald, and supermarkets. Manuel was an excellent host. He showed us the supermarked and told us everything we needed to know about the area. We had a great time and highly recommend renting this house.

We, a family of 9, enjoyed the vacation week of New Year in this charming old house with typical French character! Like other reviews, the house is well-equipped in all the rooms from kitchen to living room to bedrooms to bathrooms, French style. Especially for the older ones amongst us, it was a journey back to memory lane of the good old days and a discovery in whatever room you entered (old clocks like grandma use to have, your first wooden tennis racket, wooden ski’s, old farmland equipment, bathroom sink made out of old sewing tables we believe?). We very much appreciated the long table in the kitchen area and the fire place in the living room to gather around in the evenings. Wood is available in the garden, giving the men enough exercise cutting it into firewood by hand. The house has a lot of glass bringing in a beautiful light throughout the day. And, having the access through the glass doors into the large garden was ideal to stay connected to those in the house. We had planned to go to Paris and Disney for full days, but the house kept us in for sleep ins, long breakfasts, and coffee time that we did not move till late mornings. As a tip to go into Paris, on the internet we found secured Parking garages for less than EUR 15,00 afternoon + evening within the Périphérique, thus downtown. This saves you quite a high fare for the RET trains getting you into downtown vice versa per person in comparison to parking for a car. Unfortunately, due to Winter season, the pool was not available for a fresh New Year’s dive, but I am sure that in Summer time, the garden and pool are fabulous to relax. A few minor comments is that parking is in a small street and at times not possible in front of the house for those who feel this is important; the house is in need of a bit of renovation here and there, and the garden could use a Spring cleaning; and for getting groceries etc., you need to go by car. Manuel, thank you for having made our stay so pleasant. Your welcome upon arrival, showing the boys around the villages nearby, and the time you took to make us feel settled in started off our week with a smile. Happy to come back anytime!

We rented this property for a week at the end of October. We were a party of 6 adults and two children. It really has the Wow factor. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was spotless and beautifully decorated and furnished. The owner had gone to great lengths to ensure that our stay was perfect. The rooms were spacious and airy and our grandchildren loved their bedroom (we were impressed with ours too) The beds were really comfortable and we were impressed with the bathrooms and the abundance of luxurious towels provided (for the pool also). Despite being the end of October we took a swim before breakfast daily in the pool which is set within a fabulous garden. Perfect for children. The house is located in a quiet, peaceful small hamlet so we were pleasantly surprised at how close we were to Paris and Disneyland. We drove to Disneyland (30 mins easy drive and left car at Marne le Vallee station car park only a minute from entrance to Disneyland.) We drove to RER station Bussey (15mins even easier drive) to go to Paris. We spent 3 days in Paris and 3 days at Disney so It was a pleasure after a hectic fun filled day to come back to this fabulous house with its warm and friendly ambience. A well stocked local shop and bakery is only 5 mins drive away. I highly recommend this property. Manuel the owner, could not have been more charming and helpful ( the wine to welcome us was very much appreciated) - Monique, his manager was brilliant too making sure we understood how to use all the appliances and made sure we were familiar with everything in the house. She even took us to show us where the supermarket was. Everyone in our party agreed it was the perfect holiday home. I will definitely visit again. Many thanks Manuel and Monique. kind regards Beryl
