Perfect Summer holiday Amenities first clas.near the sea and even the weather was kind to us

The property was very clean and well appointed. The hosts were friendly, easy to contact and replied quickly to any messages. The house was a short walk from the beach and about a 15 minute walk from Seahouses. It is on a type of housing estate so there is no view of the sea or beach. A good base for exploring the area.

We arranged a short visit to Northumberland for family from the north and south of England to meet with relations over from America.The house and garden were suitable for young children and the coast very close. The bathrooms and bedrooms were smart and comfortable and downstairs was well laid out for family living.

Lovely holiday, a spacious well equipped property and garden. Superb communications at all times and assistance when needed. Close to a beautiful beach and very close to both Bamburgh and Seahouses. A special thankyou for returning my watch I left behind too - so very kind and thoughtful!

Wonderful location
A very clean property, attention to detail very good. Everything you need to make it home from home . Garden enclosed so the dog had freedom, great hot tub accompanied with plenty of Garden furniture. Beach and Seahouses on the doorstep, would love to come back to this property, thanks Anthea. Lovely house and excellent location
After a two year postponement we finally were able to go ahead with our stay. The house is really well equipped and perfect for a large family - in our case 3 grown up children and 2 of their partners. Lots to do nearby and just a short walk to Seahouses but the house is in a really quiet location. The accommodation was spotless and the owner very helpful. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Fantastic house, very clean, and well equipped for our family weekend away.
We visited as 6 adults and 2 children for a long weekend. The house was perfect! Check in simple, excellent communication from the host. House lovely and clean, and well equipped for our toddler - especially the paw patrol plate! (Travel cot, stair gate and high chair provided) There were also toys in the snug which our little boy loved. The house has a homely feel, and the hot tub outside was an added bonus! Playpark literally 2 minutes from the house, and a short walk to the beach, and into Seahouses. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Northumberland
Tumbler Rocks is in a brilliant location to enjoy the beauty of the Northumberland beaches and a good base to visit the rest of the county from. It was a five minute walk to the sandy beach with rocks pools to explore and fifteen minutes walk into Seahouses to enjoy good food at the many types of restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back again.

Fabulous house
Beautiful property - great location, spotlessly clean and everything we needed (and more!) for a great weekend. We were staying in Seahouses whilst walking the Macmillan Mighty Hike so the hot tub and fresh cream swiss rolls were doubly welcome. Would definitely recommend this property and we hope to return.

I am a northern girl moved south in 1997 . Brought my friends from the south to the north for a few days and wow did they love it . The house is fantastic beautifully clean and well equipped. And the area was as amazing as I could remember plus we had fantastic weather . Recommend the sunset trip around the Farne islands it was so beautiful . And walk along the beach to Bamburgh amazing . A fantastic holiday in a beautiful place with beautiful friends Thankyou Anthea

Ample room for 3 adults and 5 children. All neat,tidy and homey on our arrival. Plenty of hot water for everyone’ s showers. The hot tub was a winner. The little ones enjoyed the play area around the corner. Saturday we walked along the seafront and Sunday we walked up to bamburgh castle. Took the bus back! Shame we never used the membership of the ocean club:( good communication with the owners. All in all a lovely half term weekend for

Absolutely Stunning
The property was stunning, very clean and spacious with all facilities, and equipment, that we could possibly have needed/wanted. There was a lovely log burner installed but the whole house was so lovely and warm we never needed to light it !
The Hot tub was great, constantly warm, clean and ready to be used, which it was - a lot !
The property and location delivered everything we could have hoped for, and more !! and we will be returning.

Great house Stunning Location
Wow what a great find ! We stayed at the house with another family and found it ticked every box for us. Very well equipped and everything was to a high standard. Spacious enough for two families to enjoy without feeling crowded. The local town is within a 10 minute walk along a safe path. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely spacious house in a stunning location
The house was vey spacious even for 6 adults, 2 children and a baby. It was clean, modern and had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub is great for relaxing after full days at the stunning beaches. The owner and lady that met us at the house were friendly and ensured our stay was very enjoyable.
I Would recommend the Joiners Arms in Newton, the food was fantastic.

6 adults and 2 children stayed at Tumbler Rocks Retreat for my 40th birthday and we couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. There was milk, bread and a lovely cake left for us to eat. The owner was friendly and communicated well. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again in the future.
We had fish and chips at Neptunes which werevery good. We also had takeaway from the local Indian takeaway which was also very good.
