Great place for a couple. lovely position right by the beach comfy and clean and walkable into Berwick as long as you take your time. ideal for travelling around the area by car. just to mention if you are using the train its a bit of a hike

Whats not to like! Alison provides everything you could need, the cottage is in such a beautiful location I honestly don’t think you could find a more beautiful spot. We saw dolphins every day, some days they were coming amazingly close to shore, it was beautiful to see. We slept well, TV’s in living room and bedroom, good for kids but to be honest all you need for entertainment is the view! Thank you Alison (and Lesley) we had the best time and will be back xxx

The cottage was very comfortable and lived up to the previous high scores. The bedroom is spacious with wardrobe/drawers for storage & a small television. The adapted bathroom is also roomy with the option of a rain shower head. Hot water was plentiful & water pressure good. The kitchen/lounge area has super sea views. There was always a parking space available nearby. Host communication was efficient and helpful . A perfect base for exploring Northumberland .

Accommodation was next to the beach. It was warm and cosy. There was a box of provisions waiting for us on arrival.

Excellent location. Could sit and look at the sea all day and lovely walks on the beach. Very warm and cosy cottage.

everything. its a home away from home! beautifully presented and Alison made us feel more than welcome. beautiful scenery looking right out to the sea but a quiet enough area that privacy never felt invaded

The cottage is well set out and in a great location for both access to the beach and for exploring in the region. The host was very welcoming and keen to be sure we had a great stay. We’ll look forward to returning in summer.

The cottage was right next to the beach with a lovely view from the lounge. It had been refurbished extremely well and was very comfortable. Allison was extremely helpful.

Underfloor heating was a little cold initialy

On site parking .spaces in Public Car park ok in October but might be an issue in summer

Superb location beautiful sea view from lounge.

The location was perfect with a stunning view. The owner, Alison, was very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. She also brought a pile of clean towels to the cottage halfway through the week. WiFi excellent as was the heating/hot water system.

Lack of a few kitchen utensils.

Prime seafront location in Spittal overlooking the beach from large living room window covered with one-way privacy screen. Everything clean, well presented and felt Covid-safe. Very friendly and helpful host Allison who lives in the adjacent house and is discreet but available if needed. Quirky and attractive artwork and furniture throughout. Great rain shower in spacious wet room with constant hot water. Compact kitchen but had everything required for home catering that we (a couple) opted for on some days. Front patio with table and chairs for outside dining that we used with pleasure on some sunny days.

Great location. It was really peaceful. Amazing view from the living room window. Great price. Felt really safe knowing that the owner was so near. Great communication throughout with Allison (owner). Loved the welcome box of goodies. It’s actually bigger than you think. Wish we had booked longer.

I almost don’t want to leave such a good review so we can have this place to ourselves! The cottage is small but fine for 2adults and 2children. They provided everything we could’ve needed and more. The welcome hamper was much appreciated. The location is just stunning. Spittal Beach is clean and never busy, good for beach combing and crab hunting! Every day we were there we spotted dolphins. Parking was easy.
