Tolle Unterkunft mit familiärer Atmosphäre. Joshua hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen, uns alles gezeigt und tolle Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen gegeben. Auch die Dschungel-Tour mit Jason, die wir über die Unterkunft gebucht haben, ist sehr empfehlenswert.

His boss and children （indian women and she son)do not like local tourists and prefer to praise foreign tourists. i stayed alone that day and there were no other tourists in the other rooms. His son handed over the wifi password and left. He even forgot to turn on the power supply, so I had no use for electricity. And her son gave me a half-broken key. When I went back at night, I found that the door could not be opened. Finally, I crawled into the house. When it was almost late at night, the Indian woman opened the door of the house. I told her what happened. Do you know the result? She said “hey hey. you broke my key ”She turned up her voice and was arrogant .She didn't know how to live in the house without turning on the electric switch. As a hotel owner, he didn't have any courtesy to treat a customer who paid money to stay.

Great place to stay for visiting the beautiful Cameron Highlands! Staff was very, very friendly and helpful! They have great knowledge about the region, the different trails and activities. They helped us create an amazing itinerary and also arranged our next bustrip to Taman Negara. The rooms are comfortable, and the sanitary facilities are shared with only two other rooms.

The location is a good 10-15 minutes walk from the city center of Tanah Rata. Just something to be aware of.

The place was really calm and clean, Jay is an amazing host and a very interesting person. We immediately felt good there. You can really feel that things have been thought through to be practical and functional in the house. The common area is very cosy. The house is 10mn by walk from the city center with grocery, pharmacy, cafes,...

Very pleased with Gerard's place. Only four nights, would diserve a longer stay. Jay and her family are real nature lovers and can advise you where to go and what to do around. No need to book an organized tour, install locus map app and pick up one of the trail ton enjoy a jungle walk. Many thanks, hope to come back !!

We spent two nights in Gerard's place and had the best time we could have asked for. The room was perfect and just as the pictures. Nice bathroom and equiped kitchen with a toaster, kittle, microwave to have a coffee, breakfast, ... Jay waited for us for late checkin and drove us to the town late in the evening and made her suggestions for dinner. She even explained what we should take into considerations for Cameron Highlands trailing. We definitely recommend the place and are extremely grateful to its kind owner!

For the first time in three months, we finally felt at home!! The place had amazing staff and a lovely owner. Jay gave us information on everything we needed to know including the trails to hike!! We didn’t want to leave and actually extended for one more night :)

Clean, quiet and friendly. Maintained to a high standard with an agreeable ambience. Garden area and use of simple kitchen. Jay and the staff have an appreciation of western travellers' interests, namely hiking and wildlife.

Jay and Gerard (the owners) are super friendly and helpful. They try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They can help you perfectly with trekking routes. I recommend not booking a tour but to talk to them and they will find the best itinerary for you. The place is outside the city with a quite garden. Still it is near enough to walk easily to Tanah Rata.

Very peaceful location and only 5-10 minute walk for food and the shops. The property is well maintained, clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful with information about the area including where to eat and a taxi driver.

The shower did not get very warm and there wasn’t a water filter or cooler.

Location is quiet and peaceful. The host was friendly, genuinely wants her guests to make the most of their time in the highlands and is very knowledgeable of the area and offered wonderful advice on treks to do . Recommended.

From the pictures on here I thought it would be fine but it exceeded the photos and was absolutely lovely. Clean and well positioned. The view was lovely, and it was a little out of the town which made for a nice walk to go have food. Jay was extremely kind and helpful and I felt very welcome. The room with the ensuite is huge. There's a full kitchen, tea and coffee for you to use. Lovely!

It feels like a home away from home. Jay is super friendly and always ready to give you advice. Thank you so much.

The room was comfortable, had a lovely terrace to sit and relax on. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and well equipped. The property is walking distance to the shops and restaurants. There is beautiful birdsong in the mornings Jai is the perfect host, so friendly kind and helpful. We would highly recommend this place.

Perfect place to stay in Cameron highlands! jay is such a wonderful host! rooms are spotless clean and the atmosphere in the appartments is so nice! location ist perfect - very quite and calm but super close to restaurants. we had the perfect stay and would absolutely recommend it!

Jay is amazing, very friendly. It was so comfortable to stay the the beautiful roomstay and Jay was super kind in offering us to take us to the bus stop when we were leaving. We enjoyed our morning coffee with beautiful views. Very close to starting points of many trails.

Everything was super. Some things that couldn't be helped, as it is indeed the Highlands is humidity and bugs :)) Just be prepared for those and you will be grand.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely guesthouse! This is located 5min walk from the shops of Tanah Rata and about 15min from the starting point for trail 10. Jay was adorable with us: she provides the journey between the bus station and the guesthouse, she gives valuable advice for enjoying the best of Cameron Highland (without going through agencies offering tourist trap excursions!). Jay welcomed us very warmly and we loved our 2 nights there. We recommend without hesitation!
