service was great, staff was friendly and nice. Breakfast served was good.

The unit we got are 2 storeys. The one below is nice and clean. However the one on top are awful.. there’s a few ‘lizard poop’ on the bed.. We did not make any fuss as we were so tired from long distance driving.. on the next day even tho the room was tidy up after room service in the morning but when we got back we still got another few lizard poop on our bed.. ended up sleeping with mask for 2 nights.. I stayed in Bala’s before in year 2023 and had a nice experience with clean room, that’s why I recommended my family to stay here again this round but were so disappointed…

The hotel is an old school building, and looks very english cottage-like. That impression was cool, but our room was quite old-timey and needed some renovations. We had some initial complaints, but the staff was very quick and helpful to rectify these issues. Breakfast was good, and especially on out checkout day, we were able to get an early breakfast to catch our bus.

The hotel seems in a bit older shape and has seen better days. The toilet in our room was leaky and needed ages to fill the water tank.

1. The chalet is on the hill, great location, windy and picturesque 2. The landscape is beautiful, can be up to standard of other hotel i.e Smokeshouse or Cameron Highland Resorts 3. The hot water works properly 4. The chalet is beautiful and has potential, should invest on properly maintain it

We stayed 2 nights, what I didn't like were: 1. The floor inside the room not really clean 2. There were a few broken bulb need to be replaced 3. There was no mosquito net on the window, should invest on that so we can open the window and enjoy the good weather 4. On the 2nd day, no housekeeping came to clean up the room 5. There was no iron and iron board in the room, need to climb up to the ironing room on the 1st floor which quite inconvenient considering especially women's attire to iron like tudung and baju kurung.
