Excellent location, well kept facility, kitchen was recently updated, TV’s need updated, beds need replaced. Overall, great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

everything was terrific....this is my second time staying here..... we are going back again next year....beach is beautiful..... restaurants are walking distance.....

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and staying in this cozy condo. Vickie is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. The location of this condo is great for families and kids! The condo was perfect for our family of 6. We loved being able to walk across the road to the beach and being able to see the ocean from the front balcony. The pool provided great entertainment for our 4 boys and the grills beside the pool were a bonus. Thank you for allowing us to stay, we will definitely be back!

This is a well-equipped second floor condo overlooking the Gulf. It is less than a 10 minute walk to St. Armand's Circle, with lots of shops and restaurants. The beach is right across the road and there are beach chairs etc., for the use of guests. The complex has a very nice pool and overall it is good value for money for a family.

Very nice & clean accommodations. Wonderful location. Well maintained property, inclusive of pool area and onsite laundry facility. Beautiful white sand beach. Crystal clear water. Fabulous sunsets. Daily dolphin sightings. Manatee visits. No beach trash here. Easy, short walk to beautiful beach directly across the street. If driving is a need, ample beach parking is also located across from condo. Don't let "across street" deter you; the cross walk is steps away and I presume pedestrians have right of way -- autos always stopped. Vacationed in early October and had almost no traffic. Everything you need is furnished - household supplies & beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, small cooler, beach toys). Host was delightful to work with, and prompt on replies. Late arrival entry process was easy and flawless. All staff was courteous. Must take the short ride, or nice walk, to St. Armands Circle - wonderful choice of restaurants and boutiques. Shout out to Cha Cha Coconuts restaurant. If you like to check out surrounding areas like I do, this is the perfect location: 6 minutes to Sarasota proper, about 20 minutes to Siesta Key Beaches and others. St. Petersburg & Tampa is within an hours drive. Unless you are seeking the Ritz-Carlton, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Vicki, for the wonderful experience. I will return to this area, and this will be my first choice location.

Walk across the street to the beach and enjoy the sunset in a beach chair provided by owners! Excellent location, comfortable two bedroom/one bathroom apartment on Lido Key. Very near St. Armand’s Circle. The unit was clean. We had everything we needed (bring quarters for laundry!). Pool on site. Air conditioned - wall units in each room. Comfortable mattress. Updated unit. Lovely sunrise and sunset view. Perfect for a couple or a family. We were here nine days and loved it! Hope to come again to The Dorset. Thanks so much!

This is our second year in a row renting from Vicki and Ernie. Everything was just as great this year as last year! Location is fantastic and they have everything you need. They are fast to reply to questions and a pleasure to work with!

Great place to rent for some of my adult children and grand babies to stay right down the street from my condo! Great view of the gulf and great beach access right across the street! Very convenient location!

It was easy renting this property and it had a nice location. Had what we needed. That also had a great pool and a clean outside of the building. Though the room wasn’t really clean overall we had a nice stay.

The unit was nice. Everyone enjoyed it. It had everything you would need. We did find the mattress uncomfortable (bedroom with door to the outside) but everything else was great. The pool is out the back door and was very clean. It did not even have a lot of people using it. The laundry room was a short walk from the unit but had several washers and dryers (bring quarters). There were 6 of us so the 1 bathroom was difficult at times but we made it work. Thank you Vicki and Ernie.

Very nice place to stay. The place is kept up very nice. The only bad part is the office staff need to work on their customer service skills!

Very nice condo close to everything and love the beach area. Close beach access would definitely stay hear again. We checked out several beach on our trip but lido beach was definitely our favorite.

I rented 202 for my twins and their families to come visit us on lido Key. It was perfect!! Great location, great accommodations and amenities!! Directly across from the beach access and also gulf view from the living area!!!

Stayed at Lido Beach many times but this was the first time using VRBO and renting a condo. Obviously, this is the low season since the place was virtually empty. A/C and beds are ready for updating. Very noisy. Sheets had a rip in it near the headboard. A/C not very efficient in this high heat. Bathroom has no exhaust fan so it's always damp there. Since all users pay a cleaning fee, I was disheartened to find someone's orthodontic rubber bands on the floor. Nobody in my family wears them. Seems the cleaning contractor is not very good. Was really put off by our next door neighbor. We weren't there an hour and they were outside of their unit smoking. We were still unloading and one of them offered my kids candy. Fortunately, my kids have been thoroughly schooled and refused the offer. These people looked shady. Location is great. The property itself is tired. Rusty roof flashings and dripping in walkways. No codes provided for rest rooms near pool. Will think long and hard before I go this route again.

The air conditioning is very LOUD!!! The lighting is poor. Couldn't even read my book as lightning not bright enough. Would suggest leaving some trash bags and instructions for checkout. With these corrections would consider renting again.

This is an older complex but Our unit (202) was clean nice fully updated and a had great view of the Gulf from living room. Direct access to the beach right across the street. Staff were nice and accommodating. We have stayes in other complexes in Lido, we will book this again best for the price we have found. Great experience.

Updated condo in an older complex. Directly across the street from the Gulf with beautiful views. Updated kitchen with all necessary dishes, cookware and utensils. Beach supplies provided as well including chairs, cooler, towels, raft, etc. Only minor negative is the AC is wall units in each room that can be loud. Overall a great experience.

we love this condo. we have come 2 years in a row and we are looking forward to a third!!! you can see the gulf from your living room!!! across the street you can get sandwiches and burgers at a reasonable price. and just a short ride is st armands circle for great food and shopping. we feel this our home away from home!!!

this was our second year coming to this condo across from the beach. we love it, you can see the gulf from the living room as you relax, read, whatever!!! you can walk across the street to the lido beach restaurant which serves the usual hot dogs, burgers, and cheese steak sandwiches. you also are a short drive to st armands circle for great food and shopping!!! we will be back next year, the owners really take care of this unit. we feel like its our home away from home!!!

The Dorset is in an excellent location, with an ocean view from the deck. It is immediately across from the Lido Key Beach and within blocks of both Armand Circle and South Lido Park. Beach dining and a Tiki bar are available just across the street and excellent dining is at the Holiday Inn within the same block. The condo is clean and equipped with beach equipment.
