Pictures don’t do it justice. Right in city; 10 minutes walk to everywhere. Parking. Pool. 3bd. Good kitchen. Very large. Excellent, responsive landlord.

We stayed here for a week with two teenage kids. The house is marvellous, beautiful and very spacious.
The pool is nice, big enough and clean and was great. The garden is huge and has the most spectacular view over Funchal facing the sea. Filomena is a wonderful host and was always available when we had a question. It's quite central and only a short walk down the hill to the old town and the teleferico. But of course, you can also take the car.
We greatly enjoyed our time in the beautiful house!

I was extremely happy with this rental, and our host, Filomena. She made the process very smooth, and the property was just as advertised if not better. Walking distance to fantastic restaurants, as well as to port and old town Funchal. It’s a steep walk but a lot of fun.The views are simply outstanding, and the pictures can’t capture all of that. Would absolutely rent this property again on our next trip to Funchal.

10-10 is not a sufficient score to describe this amazing Villa. It’s a mini mansion. The pictures on the VRBO listing do not do the property justice. Spotless, impeccable, vast, views to die for … what else can I add. Within walking distance to the heart of Funchal. Yes, there is the mandatory walk down and up a hill, typical of Funchal. We loved this property. Our host Filomena is an angel. She welcomed us as if we were family. The bottle of wine and farm fresh eggs provided were a gift from the heart. We felt at home and awestruck from the moment we walked into this wondrous home. The only downside, we wish we would have stayed longer. Do not hesitate to book and stay here, I pray we will be able to be back next year. Truly amazing stay.

My husband and I had a recent three week stay at this beautiful house. The house is stunning inside and out. The views across Funchal will be in our memories forever. Check in/out and communication with Filomena was great and she was very helpful and easy to contact. The house is in a nice neighbourhood and is gated and alarmed. The main supermarket is only 8 minutes walk down the road and easy to get a taxi back if you have lots of shopping. Funchal is wonderful to explore on foot and we were always finding new places and things we hadn't seen. The house was well equiped with everything you could need. Thank you Filomena for the wine and all the eggs, they were greatly appreciated. Caroline and Phillip

What an amazing villa, Great views of the city and an architect masterpiece in a beautiful city, the host was perfect communication from start to finish was excellent couldn't ask for any better. Will come back again.

The house was fantastic - so spacious & clean with a great pool area & fabulous views. The house was a 10 minute walk down to the centre including a good supermarket & lots of nice restaurants. Taxi back was €8

Beautiful house
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. It’s elegant and spacious. We loved drinking our coffee on the outside patio that provides spectacular view. This house is truly remarkable!

Beautiful in beautiful Funchal
We were two couples and a friend (senior adults), who decided to take a side 5 night trip from Lisbon to Funchal during the Flower Festival The home is magnificent, the grounds and pool immaculate, and the hostess amazing. We have never stayed in a more beautiful VRBO

Super Haus, super Lage
Wir waren mit mehreren Leuten dort und haben jeden Abend die Aussicht auf die Stadt genossen und dank des kurzen Weges in die Altstadt waren die Wege zu Restaurants/Bars nicht weit. Einen eigenen Stellplatz für den Mietwagen hat man auch.

Traumhaus mitten in Funchal
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem wundervollen Haus. Filomena ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Blick vom Pool auf den Hafen und den Atlantik ist atemberaubend. Zur Altstadt läuft man nur ca 5 min. Wir waren das erste aber bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal auf Madeira.

Nous avons passé 1 semaine de rêve dans cette villa très grande, lumineuse et ensoleillée. Les équipements sont complets et de qualité, grande piscine, stationnement privatif.
Notre hôte Filomena, très sympathique et toujours disponible , nous a aider dans nos démarches avec l’aéroport suite à bagage égaré.
Nous recommandons vivement cette villa à 10 minutes à pieds du centre ville (une côte à monter au retour).
Les photos sont conformes à ce que nous avons loué, aucune surprise. Quartier calme.

Wonderful Funchal villa break
This was booked for my wife, teenage son and mother in law as a half term break from the UK. The booking process and communication with the owner was excellent and reassuring. As this visit was made during the pandemic they had to quarantine on landing and the owner very graciously did shopping for their arrival.
The villa is in a beautiful area, about 10 mins walk from town, is very private and very clean. There was plenty of room for us to relax apart and enjoy time together. The pool was great and the views across the town just to die for.
This is a villa my wife would definitely return to so we could be heading back shortly whenever we are allowed to travel again.

The house is grand and very spacious. The owner, Filomena, is delightful - friendly and very helpful. There is more than enough room for families or groups to be together or to have time separately, and an attractive pool in the garden.
