The cabin had great views and was short drive to the town. Overall the stay great, the basement area was mostly unusable because of how cold it was so I would request a space heater. The doors are also difficult to open and lock. Other than those minor inconveniences, the place was nice. Would recommend.

The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished, but a little cozy for larger groups. Full disclosure, we were there for Thanksgiving and there were 4 Master Chefs (in our own minds) trying to prepare the dinner at the same time (LOL). Anyway... we had a wonderful time, the cabin was lovely, everything in the cabin worked and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing, comfortable getaway, with wonderful views. and quiet relaxation.

The furnishings are beautiful & comfortable! The rockers on the deck to enjoy the amazing views were the absolute best!! This was one of the best stocked kitchens we have seen! When we had a minor issue maintenance was there promptly & fixed the issue & was very friendly! The staff were very helpful & friendly when reserving & on check in & out day! By far the cleanest rental we have ever stayed at! Very happy with the mountain views and cabin was exactly as advertised. Easy and quick drive to downtown West Jefferson. We can't wait to get back!

This property is absolutely lovely! The porch is perfect with lots of rocking chairs and small tables. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/cups/plates. There are space heaters and plenty of extra of blankets for those who tend to stay chilly. The downstairs tv/entertainment area is perfect for teens & kids. The owners/property managers really had nice touches with things like new fluffy towels, Christmas decorations, and seasonal scented hand soap. Best of all, our fur babies were able to travel with us. We didn’t have snow while we were there, but definitely would need 4 wheel drive when it snows. The cabin feels secluded but is close to town (groceries, shopping, dining). We highly recommend this cabin and hope to return.

I stayed at this beautiful property for 5 days during Christmas and it was just what me and my husband wanted. The views were fantastic and the neighborhood was beautiful, we took walks every day with our Golden Retriever Pup and really appreciated the location. The cabin was extremely clean and ready for us when we arrived. Check in was super easy, the property manager called me the day of our check in and let us know the access code for the door. The only two things I would say I was not super happy with and could be a suggestion for improvement is the Master bathroom shower had really low water pressure, I think if they changed the shower head it would improve the pressure because the other bathroom upstairs had a different shower head and the pressure was way stronger and 10 times better. And the other suggestion for improvement would be the Master Bedroom Bed was really uncomfortable, not sure if the mattress is old or just not the best. I think now always there are good quality king mattresses for under $1,000. They should look into purchasing a new one, the Lull bed is great and inexpensive. To sum up this review I would definitely stay at this property again because overall it is a great property with great views. If your looking for a nice peaceful vacation spot I would definitely choose to stay here. We also did a lot of hiking and activities which were all 45 to 1 hours away and the drive was very enjoyable as your are surrounded by mountains.

Not only are the views terrific, but the owners have thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable and at home. We spent Thanksgiving weekend at this cabin and it's incredibly well-stocked - it had everything we needed to do lots of cooking in the kitchen! The cabin is cozy and it was spotlessly clean. Both of the TVs were great sizes and the Rokus connected to both were a huge plus for streaming, not to mention the convenience of having cable too. All of the furniture was very comfortable and we loved the big porches with rocking chairs. The mountain views from this house and the neighboring street are some of the best views we've seen in the High Country. The management company was also great and made our stay easy. We are definitely planning to rent this cabin again!

It is only 5 minutes downhill to West Jefferson. We love the view from the porch and the view when walking. The only problem when walking is back uphill. It really gives good exercise. We have the cabin again in August and can't wait to come back. Thanks!

The view is amazing and the town of West Jefferson is great. Breweries and great stores and downtown is worth walking around and exploring. We did expect a real hot tub as described in VRBO but there was just a big bath with jets that I guess they call a hot tub. But if you rent cabins like we do a hot tub is an actual hot tub with hot water around 103 to 110 degrees out on the porch so you can enjoy the view while in a hot bath. It was my wife’s birthday and she had an amazing weekend but a hot tub would have made it perfect.
