Cottage was very clean, everything we needed was there,and it was a very short little walk to the beach. we loved that it was very quiet and low-key. this was the perfect little cottage for me and my husband celebrating our 32nd Anniversary. The owner even left us a personal note and a bottle of Chilled wine for our celebration! We will definitely stay here again.

This place was absolutely perfect!!! From being super close to the beach, walking distance for several very good restaurants, to the wonderful locals. We have found our new yearly rental for our vacations!! The host is wonderful with communication, i couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

Location was perfect, house was clean and quiet, the beach was beautiful and there were plenty of chairs. The owner even supplied and new beach umbrella, mat, coffee, and a hand-written note. Just a quick walk to the beach and you could easily walk or bike to the downtown area. Perfect for our little family.

We loved everything about our week long stay from check in to check out. The home was very clean, plenty of towels/rags, extra blankets/pillows, lots of kitchen counter space, large table with plenty of chairs, nice beach chairs & umbrella to borrow, the list goes on. Takes maybe one minute to walk from the door of the home to the beach.

We love Fernandina and continue to come back year after year. Kim’s Cottage is by far our favorite spot yet. The location is perfect for a family with small children. We were able to quickly and easily walk to the beach and the park. Can’t wait to come back again!

We will definitely be back. The cottage was just what we needed and it's right on the beach! The cottage was very clean. It had everything on hand for cooking so we could spend as much time as possible enjoying the beach/view. We were able to start our days watching the sunrise and walking the shore, and then pop back in for breakfast/lunch. The beach was very clean and relaxing and too. We enjoyed tea/desserts on the balcony/porch in the evening to end each day. Fernandina is now our new favorite beach. We also did the beach creek boat tour that a another guest recommended, the whole family enjoyed it.

The only thing between the house and the beach is a little one way road covered in sand and some sand dunes. We found a lot of shark teeth and enjoyed the beach without crowds. We were close enough that my kids could run back to the house for something without us worrying. Kim was great to work with, the house was clean, we used the board games on a rainy day, we used the washer and dryer every day, and the beds were all comfy. No issues with the house or the owner whatsoever and highly recommend if you’re staying in the area.

We were steps from the beach. We watched the sunrise over the ocean from the deck.
A short bike ride into town. And the ride out to Fort Clinch was a beautiful too. Prime location.

We enjoyed our stay at the beach cottage. All the little details made it feel homey and it was literally steps from the beach. We were able to see the sunrise during our morning walk on the beach and the kids loved spending every minute in the water. We look forward to making more memories here!!

Great Family Getaway
My family loved our time at this beach house. It was clean and just the right size for our family of three. Beach front was great for us with a 3 year old. We could easily set up for the day and get him in for naps! There is a great playground and skatepark within walking distance and a couple restaurants too! The beach was never crowded and we will definitely be back!

The Best Beach House
This cozy beach house is close to everything, neighborhood is quiet and the view is fantastic! So easy to roll out of bed and right onto the beach just a very short walk away. The owner is very communicative, which is always nice, and the property is well kept. You'll hear no complaints at all from us! We'll definitely be booking again!

A true gem
We loved our vacation in this cottage. Kim was very welcoming from the start and answered all of our questions promptly. The cottage is right across from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. We had fun exploring the downtown and kayaking. The house had everything we needed and we spent hours relaxing on the deck. We can't wait to return!

Great Place to Stay in Amelia
We were happy to find Kim's place at a time where many rentals are booked in Florida. Overall, we had a great experience. The house is easy to access, the pictures are an accurate reflection of the house, and the beach is a short walk away. Kim was easy to communicate with and she was accomodating to our late night arrival. This is a great house for couples or small families looking to enjoy the beach in a comfortable and convenient way. We hope to visit again soon. Thanks, Kim!
