Pretty amazing place. The listing pictures don't disappoint - you are literally on the ocean. There is so much beach to walk right outside your door, so much reef for snorkeling. Four huge turtles were hanging out just feet into the water directly outside for the duration of our stay. Simply amazing - would absolutely stay again.

The beach was absolutely great! we saw many turtles and the beach was never crowded. We loved it. Falling asleep every night to the waves which were less than 100 ft away!

We loved watching sea turtles and whales from the back patio. Furnished interior had everything we needed. We loved the pool too.

Great place. Beautiful views of the bay. Watched whales from the lanai. Nice central location and near harbor for Molikini crater excursion that we did. (Would rec the Four Winds II for this, btw and definitely do Snuba). The AC unit is a little “tired” but often opened the windows and used fans to stay cool. The on-site manager is a stickler for the parking, so make sure you have your tag hanging at all times. Be prepared to drive to get restaurants and there is really nothing g great nearby but makes it a quiet spot. Overall nice place and would stay again.

From start to finish I was exceedingly pleased with the communication process from the host. The experience was first class. The property is in very good shape and the view of the ocean is as advertised (amazing). Nice casual dinning restaurants a few minute walk down the street and convenient quiet location that allows you to get anywhere on the island in your rental car.

This unit is beautifully done - and the view is one of the best on this part of the island. This complex is quiet and steps from the water. We stay here every year and just love it. Really loved the decor - it was a very comfortable unit.... the bed was amazingly comfy!

We thoroughly enjoyed this rental and will absolutly book it again! The location was perfect and you can't beat the views. We had no trouble with anything at all. It was perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed this condo. The neighborhood and location was still very convenient but a bit quieter being outside of Kihei.

This condo is perfect! Open air space so yes you will hear everything but we loved that big open feeling. One kid slept in the loft and the other slept on the sofa bed (super comfortable). We felt as if we were sleeping on the beach! Home is just as described. As other ratings state The resort is not fancy, but it is nice. If you’re looking to be away from the crowds (like we were) and have a beach all to yourself then this is your spot. Very convenient to north and south destinations to visit. Condo is perfection! The view is amazing! Supplied items got us through our stay. Mahalo!!!

We had a wonderful stay here, if you’d like to snorkel bring your snorkeling masks lots of coral, fish and turtles to see water was absolutely clear. We had an issue with the ceiling fan in the upstairs loft not working call the maintenance people and they came and fixed it the same day. Unit was clean comfortable and beautiful to stay in. Highly recommend this rental! Do not pass this one up!

Our family loved staying at this properly. Beachfront property with easy access to beach and only a short distance away to any part of the island.

This vrbo had everything we needed: more starter supplies than we could have imagined, great coffee maker and filters, dish sponge, beach towels/chairs/cooler/umbrella/boogey boards. The beds and sofa were comfy. On a humid night, the window a/c unit performed well. The view was so amazing it felt like we were sitting in the ocean. While there was visual privacy in the bedrooms , the unit is very open-concept noise-wise, but muted due to crashing waves. :) Restaurant hours in immediate area were spotty. Try Kihei or Wailea for dinners. Road to Hana was gorgeous. As was Haleakala, but suggest Dramamine if you get motion sickness. Thank you for everything,

Saw turtle heads popping up in the water at night, small crabs crawling the beach and hiding in their holes. Very private feeling, not busy at all. The condo itself is good size. A downfall is not much privacy when staying with another couple. The downstairs bedroom ceiling is slotted (although you can not see through it)…Overall you can hear everything everyone is doing. The AC unit is loud for whoever is sleeping upstairs. Upstairs people were cooler than downstairs. Need a fan for the downstairs bedroom because the box fan in the closet doesn’t work. Love that there were beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler and beach towels provided. On the downside they only provide a starter pack of toilet paper and dishwasher soap so be prepared if you’re staying longer than three days to buy these items, and it’s not cheap here. Also the laundry is coin operated. It’s suggested to bring your own quarters because they are hard to find. $2 for washer and $2.25 for dryer. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Beach was wonderfully sandy and family friendly. Nice wave riding. Would stay here again.

The property is quiet and peaceful. Beds are very comfortable. The place overall suited our family perfectly for our 6 days on the island.

Unit C-1 was found very clean and the view is fantastic ~ watched whales morning and afternoon. Loved the central location.

Looked exactly like it was in the pictures. The beach was perfect. The was sand and corral. Snorkled off the beach saw some fish and a turtle. centrally located on the island. Kehei was about 10 minutes. Lahaina was 25 minutes. Costco 15 minutes. I would deffinitely stay there again.

This condo is located in a spot that makes it easy to travel to any part of the island. Maui Ocean center and Pacific Whale Foundation are so close. Condo is as described— clean, well equipped, comfortable on end of wonderful beach for walking or snorkeling or playing in the water. Amy, from rental agency is a dream to work with.

My wife, I and our two teenage sons stayed in Hono-kai C-1 for a week during the holidays and New Year. We had a wonderful time. The view from the balcony and floor to ceiling windows is amazing. We watched whales from the balcony and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The condo is right on the beach, and we loved using the boogie boards that were provided and taking walks on the beach as a family. The location is central to everything you would want to see on Maui. Thanks for a great time and we will be back.
