Our family really enjoyed our week at Desert Orchid. The girls loved the atmosphere in the backyard oasis. The kids loved the easy close access of the pool. The overall location in Chandler is great with some of our favorite restaurants and dutch bros only minutes away. Great hosts next door and an overall great experience. Thank you!

Everything was just as represented. The location was great. The house was well equipped and the set up was perfect. Our group consisted of two couples and we are all in agreement that we would love to stay there again. We had no issues with anything from check in to check out! Perfect stay.

The pictures don’t do this house justice. Everything was better than we expected. The house was so clean. The beds were very comfy. The backyard was a dream. The neighborhood is great and convenient to anything you could want...we even walked to Starbucks! Fred and Laura couldn’t have been better hosts. This home was perfect for our family.

Fred and Laura’s place was perfect for us. The kitchen was fully stocked, more than we’ve ever seen in a rental. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and supplies in the bathrooms. The home was perfectly clean as well. The backyard was beautiful and perfect for our little Thanksgiving gathering. We loved that we could have our little dog join us. We would highly recommend staying here.

The set up of the house was outstanding, decorated for the holidays and accommodated our holiday dinners of 20+ people, comfortably. The owners were amazingly helpful and went out of their way to make the whole experience and visit truly memorable. We will definitely rent again in the future and refer any friends and/or family who may be planning a trip to Arizona.

Finding this property after a flood in our home has been such a blessing. The house has everything a complete home needs, which has made it so comfortable. The landlords have been over the top helpful to facilitate our prolonged stay. The neighborhood is safe, convenient to highways and has a pool directly across the street. We are very grateful for Fred & Laura and their hospitality.

This house was wonderful to rent. It had anything that we needed to cook and when we forgot to buy something we found it in a cupboard. The owners were terrific to work with and very accommodating to our schedule. We would definitely rent with Fred and Laura again.

super friendly host and beautiful backyard

I reserved this home for my older parents and uncle since they are not up on technology. The owners were understanding and had excellent communication with myself and my parents. My parents loved the home, and said it was nicer than they imagined. The pictures online didn’t do it justice. There is a community pool directly across the street from the home they loved. My family will definitely reserve again when in the area. Thank you again, Laura and Fred.

Took our son and his family for a quick trip to the Phoenix area. Decided to try VRBO for the first time. Was very pleased with this home in Chandler. Easy to find, very clean and comfortable - everything you could ever need or want was there. Felt like we were home and so nice to come back to after running around all day. Would definitely recommend this particular property with it's great patio and pool across the street. Would be happy to return if ever in the area again.

Over the years we have stayed at a number of places rented through VRBO. Without a doubt this is one of the nicest places at which we have stayed. It is very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with anything that might be needed. There is nothing that Fred and Laura have not thought of (including a refrigerator in the garage stocked with beer, soda and water). Their communication before arrival and after we arrived was very timely and helpful. They responded very quickly to any questions or needs we had while there. One of our family members has a gluten allergy and one has a dairy allergy. Laura even took the time to bake and surprise us with a loaf of absolutely delicious banana nut bread that was gluten and dairy free. Very thoughtful! We highly recommend this property.

We arrived to find an absolutely beautiful home equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. Linens, towels, fully equipped kitchen, blankets in the closets, a huge, beautifully lit back patio, grill, outdoor seating....and two wonderful "landlords" for the week. Fred and Laura were beyond accommodating, even helping us find a salon to get our hair done for the wedding we were in town to attend! The house is right on the edge of Chandler and Tempe, and is close to anything and everything we needed to get to. The neighborhood was very nice and safe, with the community pool right across the street. If you're looking for a nice place to rent in the Phoenix area, THIS IS IT. Thank you, Fred and Laura! We'll be back!

We have used VRBO to stay many times in the past with no problems, but this is the best experience we have had yet. Laura and Fred are great hosts and go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. The house is extremely well equipped, very clean, comfortable, and roomy. My family of 5 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs had more than enough room for sleeping, meals, enjoying time together and still had room for individual space. I would highly recommend this home.

Fred and Laura were friendly and helpful. They are willing to accommodate requests if you have any. It is a very nice house and we really enjoyed our stay.

Even before we arrived, Fred was available, quick to respond to calls or emails, making me feel like he wanted us there. The property was really nice and Fred had gone out of his way to make sure we had all the comforts of home. The bottom line is if my family and return to the greater Phoenix area, the first call i make is to Fred and Laura!

This was a great home to spend a week in. Plenty of room for 6 of us. Huge back yard for relaxing day or night. Pool and tennis court across the street. Home is fully furnished. Close to almost anything you want to do.

My family and I were extremely happy with our stay in Phoenix area. The house was amazing. Everything in the house was like new . The patio in the backyard was great for our family to grill out or just sit outside at night and enjoy the cool night air by the gas firepit. We all loved how the patio was able to be lit up. Any questions we had were answered in minutes. Laura even provided us blankets to use to sit on the lawn at our baseball games. (Go Cubs!) We were even able to squeeze the large black van we had into the garage to keep it cool inside since the weather was in the 90's the whole week (awesome). The kids had fun going across the street and jumping in the pool (I even went over and enjoyed the hot tub) and tennis rackets and balls were also provided to play tennis. The cold water and beer provided when we arrived was an unexpected surprise! Fred and Laura were both very friendly and met us after we arrived to walk us through the house and showed us the patio lights and how to operate the grill and firepit. Thank you so much for a wonderful week staying and relaxing week your home! Oh and we were literally minutes from Albertsons (grocery store) and Starbucks (my kids were so excited to find this out)! Thanks again to Fred and Laura, we would love to stay at your home again in the future!

This is an excellent place to stay. The house is in excellent condition, very well furnished and stocked above and beyond the call with a full spice collection, plenty of good quality kitchen tools and other supplies that make it feel like you are in a home, a very clean well-kept one at that. The owners were especially nice and even provided a case of beer of our choice, snacks from our favorite baseball team, and more. We were made to feel very welcome. The suggestions we did have for minor improvements, like a towel hook here, larger bed there, were acted on right away. Fred and Laura obviously care a lot about providing a quality place to stay. You won't regret staying here at all. I recommend it without reservation.
