We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay. The apartment was conveniently located - close to the Tram line #4, stores (Albert Heijn) and eateries, and on a quiet residential street. It was an easy walk to all attractions, such as Anne Frank House and Albert Cuyp Market. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities for an ideal stay, including a washing machine. The bathroom was nicely renovated, with the toilet in a separate, SMALL 'water closet'. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions and needs. We would recommend this property and stay here again.

The apartment was compact and comfortable. We were made welcome by the owner and the location was ideal for the museum district. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is in a fantastic locale and was clean and orderly. Host provided personal visit to explain how everything operated. Felt very comfortable even with 4 adults. Convenience of being steps to the tram. Restaurants and cafes galore within an easy stroll.

Communication was exceptional. We had a suitcase that did not arrive with our flight. Came 2 days later. Property manager took care of delivery and also gave us great suggestions for restaurants, etc. Arranged for a taxi for our return to the airport for the flight home. Cozy apartment with everything you need. Clean comfortable beds and bedding. Quiet location on side street but near access to all museums, restaurants and other sites. If you enjoy walking, you can go just about anywhere in the city by foot. Other public transportation nearby too. Great choice!

This is a great location from which to base Amsterdam experiences. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and the important museums are a short walk. We loved Amsterdam and enjoyed our stay in this property very much.

We enjoyed our stay and the convenient location for exploring Amsterdam. The quiet location in a neighborhood away from tourist traffic was just what we wanted. The apartment was well stocked and allowed us to put together simple meals, with a grocery within a short walk away. Beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. We would be happy to stay here again!

The apt. was in a wonderful location on a great little street. There are many shops and restaurants right nearby. We walked to practically everything during our 4 night stay. The apt. was clean and the beds very comfortable. We were hoping it would be enough space for 4, and it was. The bed in the living room was perfect for my adult daughter and niece.

Hello everybody! We had a few wonderful days visiting Amsterdam. The apartment is central and you can reach everything in the town centre easily. There are nice bars and cafes next to the accomodation. Don't miss walking in the southern part of Amsterdam straight near the water. Kind regards Thilo

This was a 3-day stay to see the sights of Amsterdam. It was a modest walk to the downtown but very doable. We did not spend much time there except for sleeping. The beds were wonderful and comfortable.

Staying in Tjerk and Esther’s flat was a great experience. The place is in a very quiet area, yet only a short walk to all the action. The flat was extremely clean, beds comfortable, and new bathroom was lovely. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Would 10/10 stay here again

We had an amazing 3 days in Tjerk & Esther’s apartment in Amsterdam. Great location with fabulous neighbourhood restaurants and bars. Tram no 4 stop is a 3 min walk bringing you to Dam Square or central station. Supermarket is just around the corner. Apartment is spotlessly clean with very comfortable double bedroom and additional single/double day bed in living area. Handy guidebook with sight seeing and restaurant recommendations. Will definitely stay again when back in Amsterdam - thanks for having us!

We and our two older teenage kids stayed here for a few days before Thanksgiving. Check-in was a breeze, as was accessing the apartment in general. Our host was very flexible about accommodating a change in our check in timing. The apartment has a lovely quiet back bedroom, with a pull out bed for two in the living area. Separate rooms for the toilet and shower/sink are very convenient for larger groups. The kitchen has everything you might need, though we ate out for most meals. All was very clean and ready for us. We met our host who was delightful. But what really distinguishes this apartment is its fabulous location. It is nestled in a charming neighborhood in the heart of the historic canal district. Though it is located on a quiet and safe side street, a multitude of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars are steps away. We chose to walk to most of our destinations, but public transport is very accessible as well. For this reason, you do not need, and I wouldn't bring a car. For a well-appointed apartment to immerse yourself in the charm of historic Amsterdam, look no further. As with all other apartments in historic Amsterdam, be aware that the stairs to this apartment are steep for those with mobility issues. Would stay here again without hesitation.

The lovely well appointed apartment is well located close to trams, restaurants and shops. It is quite large for an adult family of three. The apartment was clean except for the electric pot which needed cleaning. Esther is so nice and helpful and has a written summary of hints and suggestions. She was kind enough to call us a cab! Highly recommend this lovely apartment located in a wonderful part of Amsterdam.

Overall a great stay But even if there was pots and pans there was no stove or oven and no way to do any home cooking And the owner said no cooking was allowed in the unit Not advertised in descriptions of the apartment

Location was fantastic, outside of the Amsterdam hustle and bustle. Also, perfect walking distance to everything. The hosts provided us with recommendations for local restaurants, as well as biking/beach day trips. Would’ve stayed another night at the end of our trip for sure if we could have.

The apartment was very well located to many of the museums , walkable. As well great restaurants within minutes which we took advantage of. The tram was at the end of the street which allowed us to get to the central railway station for day trips to other cities.

This rental is well-equipped, very clean, and within easy walking distance of many interesting places.

Our party of two couples had a GREAT stay at this beautiful apartment. It was centrally located to all of the main attractions of Amsterdam yet far enough away to feel homey and safe. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom while the other couple slept in the pull out (IKEA style) bed in the living room. The unit was furnished with a nice array of dishes and kitchenware so that we could enjoy our meals at the dining room table, overlooking apartment row. My only suggestion is to perhaps provide coffee provisions, at least the first day. But in the absence of that, we did get the best coffee and croissants they recommended in their guide book. The name escapes me but trust me when I say, it was the best I ever had! Communication and the check in process with our hosts was also perfect. Overall we loved our stay and accommodations in Amsterdam and plan to return soon!

Firstly the location in Amsterdam was fantastic, central to most things but just slightly out of the touristy part that can be a bit… well… scummy at times. The apartment itself was clean, large and functional, however it would be good if it were a bit clearer on the listing that it only has a small kitchenette, and not a full kitchen as could be interpreted from the photos. This is due to short term lease rules in the city, which is fine, but we think this should be made clear in case you thought you would be able to cook each night to perhaps save money etc. Other than that we enjoyed our stay here

The place was clean and comfortable but most important was in the middle of everything . Can walk to most things. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. All accommodations could learn from her .

The apartment was clean and well appointed. Lovely newly remodeled bathroom with separate toilet. Nice size separate bedroom and gathering room with additional bed. The location was ideal. Just a short walk to restaurants, coffee shops, canals, grocery stores etc. The host is friendly, onsite and was available to help with our needs.

This is a great apartment close to many restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and tram. You can get to anywhere quickly and easily. The apartment itself is clean and located on a very quiet street. We will definitely stay again the next time we’re in Amsterdam!😁❤️

This was a wonderful accommodation for three senior women family members to enjoy while visiting Amsterdam together! The apartment was comfortable, well equipped, and very quiet. We loved the location in the canal district, perfect for exploring the city & many of delightful stores & restaurants a brief walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this historic neighborhood & especially appreciated Hugo’s tour of the apartment & his showing us how everything worked when we arrived.
