The staff was friendly and everything was clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices and the woman in charge of breakfast was on top of everything (even a malfunctioning pancake maker). She stayed cheerful and kept everyone well fed.

There was no luggage rack in my room. Had to leave my suitcase open in the floor (no big deal). Bigger issue is that the mall attached to the hotel is closed. It doesn't matter, except for the fact that we got in after dark. The hotel is on the back side and there is NO signage. Like nothing that says where to go. There is also no lighting in the parking lot, or on the road around the mall, so it was hard to navigate and more than a little creepy. My 12 year old said, "Well, it looks like the zombie apocalypse has started." They aren't responsible for the mall, but it's been closed for 2 years- it seems like the city could get a street light or two put out there. And some signage- anything. Even a disposable sign like they put out for political campaigns. A piece of cardboard on a stick that says "Holiday Inn ➡️."

Staff was excellent especially the lady that was in the breakfast area. Friendly made sure everything was ok.

Very clean and very friendly staff.

The location behind the abandoned mall was quiet, but a little off putting.

It was near my cousin and the church my aunt was being funeralized at.

Upon arriving we encountered a leak in the lobby and we were without water for a couple of hours. I had just arrived in town to attend my aunt's wake and funeral the following Saturday. We were unable to bathe before attending after traveling for 9 hours. After speaking with the desk attendants several times they were unable to offer a solution for us to take a bath.

Business center had 2 computers. One was unusable because it did not have a mouse. The other one did not work until staff reset it. Printer not functioning due to low toner. Staff did not have toner replacement. Toilet ran. Ironing board not level. Iron rolled off of it and almost burned me. Surrounding area deplorable.
