The host was very thorough, including communication before and during the stay. The unit was equipped with everything you could need for a vacation at the beach. Views are outstanding and location was great! Miss hearing those waves crashing on the rocks while going to sleep or waking up. Great stay and hosts! Thank you for sharing your home.

Condo is convenient to town, great ocean views…. good sized for 4 adults.. and amazingly equipped! Everything you need in kitchen, pantry etc.. and the “beach closet” is a treasure trove!! Multiple Chairs, boogie boards, coolers… snorkel sets! Owner VERY helpful and responsive. Neighbors gather for sunset, lots of helpful tips. Really NOTHING negative to say! Pool for condo next door right next to our lanai, so need to close curtains if dressing in MBR.

Beautiful condo with all the comforts of home. Owner thought of everything. Jason was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions. Small foot note...i visited in late July. The big island is extremely humid in July. The aur conditioning unit in the living room is not sufficient to cool off the living room and master bedroom. Other than that, perfect stay. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend this unit.

Condo is well equipped with a great lanai for watching the waves, cruise ships, Para sailers and fishermen! AC was a welcome break from the humidity. Jason was very responsive prior to arrival and during our stay.

We have stayed many times in different condos at Alii Villas, this being the first time here in Jason’s and the first time we've stayed for a month. It was great having a second bedroom and bathroom as we had a guest for part of our stay. Jason was always quick to reply to any question or request and most helpful. This condo looked out along the coast and the town of Kailua Kona and this orientation allowed the flow of breezes to keep it cool. There are 2 air conditioning units which we didn’t have to use plus fans everywhere including on the large lanai. We had the use of beach chairs, umbrellas, several coolers plus boogie boards. The kitchen was well equipped and had many spices and condiments for us to use. We spent most of our time on the lanai, enjoying our morning coffee and meals while listening to the waves crashing against the rocks. We would recommend this condo in a heartbeat and hate to leave our home in paradise.

Beautifull view of the water from very nice lanai. Only issue is all the people at the pool next door can see directly into your condo at all times. had to keep curtains closed for privacy which blocks the view.

Feels like a place I could spend all winter. The lanai is wonderful, and the ocean waves are so soothing. The condo is away from the bustle and traffic on Alii Drive and it’s a convenient 15 minute drive to the Fairwinds snorkel departure to kealakekua bay, which was great. Configuration is perfect for a couple.

Jason was absolutely the best host! The information we received before we got there was so helpful. We had zero questions and had such great ideas from Jason for beaches, grocery stores, parks and restaurants. At his home any question we had was taken care of by a label or was in our information packet. It was so easy to stay there. Jason always responded immediately and was always very helpful. The lanai is the BEST and that view was wonderful! We loved your place and would absolutely stay there again!

My family spent the Christmas Holiday here and loved the Condo. It's right on the water, and you can hear the surf crash all night while you sleep. Everything was clean and well stocked. Having two bathrooms, made it easy to share with my wife and 21 year old daughter. The Lanai is as big as it looks in the pictures and we spent most all our out there. The complex is quiet and very well maintained, The location is great, less than a block to The Green Flash Coffee shop, and not too bad a walk into Kailua. Would highly recommend.

Nice remodeled location on the water. Sunsets from the lanai. AC cools well but two portable units are not enough to cool below 77F. Very nicely decorated home.

A Really Nice Stay - Beautiful View - Clean - Easy Communication

We really enjoyed our stay and found everything to be easy from start to finish of our stay. Access to the Unit was simple and very descriptive. Parking and directions super easy. Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were decently comfortable. For a fifth guest you might want to travel with a blow up bed, if futon couch is not comfortable to sleep on. Some may like, just an option. Highly recommend

My best stay in Hawai'i
I have been io Hawai'i numerous times and have stayed in a variety of accommodations but this was my best yet, BY FAR. The condo was very well supplied and we were immediately at home in this beautiful and well cared for home. I enjoyed being on the lanai, drinking my morning coffee and listening to the waves rolling over the lava shore maybe thirty feet from me - very relaxing. I can't say enough about the hosts. Jason was always available and extremely helpful, more like a friend than just a host. Okay, every place has at least one negative and this place has one too. We were too comfortable here and had to force ourselves to leave occasionally. Is that a negative, you decide?

Great property
Highly recommend staying at this condo. The location, the amenities, everything was just wonderful. Really smooth check in process, lots of beach gear, shampoo and conditioner, great lanai. This place has everything you’d need for a great vacation. If we’re ever back in Kona we’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Home Away from Home.
Beautifully appointed condo with a ton of toys, food supplies and towels etc. The lanai was wonderful, enjoyed the views and waves slashing next door. The pool was nice but frankly we spent most of our time when on the lanai when home. Would recommend this unit to everyone. Washer/dryer was new supplies for that were available as was picnic items. Stayed three weeks and it was like home.

Week in Kona
This was a great property! Jason was incredible - always responding quickly and helping with any and all questions. The space was clean, well equipped and in a great location with an easy walk into Kona. We appreciated all of the host's suggestions for places to visit and activities nearby, as well as amenities such as beach towels, chairs, and umbrella, water shoes, snorkeling equipment, coolers, washer/dryer and more. Furniture and bed were comfortable and the porch/lanai was like an extra room outdoors with a great view. We very much enjoyed this property.

Perfect family spot in Kona
Jason’s place was perfect for us! The location was amazing-right on the water and close to town.
We are a family of 5, and there was plenty of room for everyone.
I have rented A LOT of houses from VRBO and Airbnb, and this was, by far, the best stocked.
When I travel, I appreciate having all of the extras, and Jason provided those- beach towels, boogie boards, a couple of sets of snorkel gear, extra pillows and blankets, AND a washer/dryer with detergent! I washed our clothes from the day every night so now I’m not stuck with a million loads when I get home 😁.
Oh, and the beds were comfy, too.
All in all, a total win! I ABSOLUTELY would stay here again. Don’t hesitate to snap up this place for your island getaway!

Lovely Condo on the Water
My brother and I traveled to Kona for a dive trip to celebrate his 50th birthday. This place caught my eye as it appeared to be in a great location, was reasonably priced and well equipped. The photos and descriptions were very accurate and representative of what we experienced. There were A/C units available in each of the bedrooms, but we barely used them as the volume of ceiling fans along with the cross breeze generally kept it quite comfortable. This was especially true out on the lanai. I run warm, so this was kind of a big deal for me.
We walked to town a few times and I believe it was a little less than a mile to the edge of town (Royal Kona Resort, Huggo’s On the Rocks, etc.). When we were not diving, we also drove 2 or 3 miles the other way to a great little beach for snorkeling. We usually got there before 9 and there always ample parking. The rode also has great shoulder for running or biking if that is your thing.
The most notable item for me was the attentiveness of our host Jason. He regularly communicated both before, during and after the trip to ensure everything went well. He was super responsive to emails, so we did not have to wait long if we had a question about something condo related or anything in the area for that matter.
I would definitely book here again.

Outstanding Views and Convenient Location
My husband and I stayed at Jason's condo for a month and it quickly became our home away from home. Jason was very responsive from the beginning and continued to communicate with us all through our visit. He provided more than enough information about the condo, the location, and other points of interest---very welcomed since we were first-time visitors.
First, this is not your generic condo. You can tell Jason and his family use it from all the personal touches from art and comfy furniture, to the handy supplies throughout, which they generously share.
You'll also find the location helpful. There's shopping, restaurants, and open marketplaces close by to the north and to the south, and in the hillside towns above you. Pickleball, tennis, golf, and snorkeling are also close by.
For us, the highlight was the lanai. Such a wonderful place to have your morning coffee, watch the dolphins, catch sunsets, and rustle up courage to someday parasail as we watched others float over the water. We ate every meal outside taking it all in. It's the lanai we miss the most.
If possible, we're hoping to get back for another month next year!

Great and convenient condo in Kona
Beautiful, peaceful place. Spacial enough for 3 of us. Greatly organized. Nice kitchen, all the stuff for grilling, is provided. Beach and snorkeling supplies are also provided. Located conveniently close to downtown shops and restaurants. Beautiful Luau. Hosts have thought of everything.

Peaceful
This property is beautifully located right on the beach with a sprawling view of the ocean! It was fully stocked with towels, beach towels, laundry needs, condiments for cooking, and individual shampoos, soaps, and conditioners. The 2 a/c units worked well and contacts with Jason were swiftly answered. (FYI-The beach is not a walk out sandy type. It is a rocky one) 👍🏻

Jason’s condo is just perfect for an island get away. Everything you need is here from beach equipment to shampoo. The pool is great and sleeping to the sound of the ocean is sweet! We would absolutely stay here again.

A slice of paradise
This property is everything they say it is, absolutely stunning views, fall asleep listening to the waves crash against the rocks. Very well furnished with anything and everything you could think of. Bed and pillows are really comfortable. Location is great it is about a 4 min drive down to the bars, restaurants and shops. They also have beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, sun umbrellas and beach towels for you to use. GREAT PLACE TO STAY

Amazing week in Kona at Ali’i Villas
The Kim family’s condo was just perfect for our first trip to the Big Island. We were two adults and a three year old. The location in Holualoa was perfect for taking our rental car across the island in all directions. Having a reserved parking space and easy condo access with the code was great at the end of a long day exploring. The condo is close to several nice public beaches but the complex is quiet and set back from the busy road. We thought both the Murphy bed and master bed were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious! We ate all meals out on the lanai and had all we needed for cooking. We appreciated the gear closet with everything for a day at the beach! The pool was clean and quiet as well with a nice grill area and outdoor shower great for cleaning off after being out and about. We can’t wait to come back to the big island and would love to stay here again; have already recommended it to others!

Comfortable
The unit was all that was listed, very comfortable and felt homey. The compound itself is very clean and well maintained with the local management and local residents very welcoming and friendly. We were actually at the unit just before Thanksgiving, it was our first excursion since the pandemic and we did feel safe and all were respectful of our space. We also took our small (10 lbs) dog with us and he too was welcomed. A very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

Great location/Crashing Waves
We loved this apartment that is right on the water. The best part for us is the beautiful lanai and the sound of crashing waves. Very clean, extremely well provisioned, and the owner was wonderful in his communication with us.

Beautiful condo.
Jason is the best host ever. Communication was spot on. His condo is a dream, perched over the ocean with magnificent views. We were so very lucky to have been able to see whales right from the lanai. Watching the sunset with other people from adjoining condos was a lovely way to end the day. Jason's condo is in a fabulous location close to everything. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return one day. Thank you Jason for a marvelous holiday

Best owner in the whole world; wonderful sound of waves
I have never enjoyed my stay so much, with such a nicely appointed unit, and with such a responsive manager and owner. I have stayed in previous years in the top unit (2 floors above) and in the unit next door, 2nd floor..and basically almost any oceanfront unit I can find in this wonderful Alli Villas, but Jason has been the best owner I have ever encountered. He cares about the unit and about my stay and made certain everything was as enjoyable as possible. Five stars is just not enough. Mahalo.
