Tigh Bata was an amazing gem. It was spacious on the inside with awesome views outside. The home was well equipped with toiletries and everything.needed for meals for our large family. Access was easy and appreciated given the remote location. And the staff was friendly and attentive. 5 Stars in every respect!

Amazing house with a spectacular view! This is a real treasure of a rental. The house is large, comfortable, clean, and well stocked. We immensely enjoyed our stay. Our only regret is that we should have stayed here more than two nights!!

Skye itself is an amazing place to visit and Tigh Bata has a wonderful spot north of Waternish. The house is a great design and has lovely views all the way from East to West through South, especially from the open plan living area and the main bedroom. The furniture is good, it has a big, well-equipped kitchen and with 6 adults we appreciated the 3 bathrooms. The property is getting a little worn around the edges - I suspect it was renovated at least 8-10 years ago - so there's the odd place where lights or flooring or doors will need a bit of attention before long. It could do with some suitable blinds or similar for the large triangular windows in the peaks of the bedrooms, unless you're good at sleeping with lots of light (both late in the evening and early in the morning this far north!) But I wholeheartedly recommend it as a beautiful place to stay.

We chose this VRBO to stay for a few days while attending a wedding in Skye. Wish it was a few weeks! Great remote oceanside location with the highland coo's next door. Yurteancoffee close by and a quick trip to Dunvegan for restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed the views, the wood stove, the full kitchen and the cozy accommodations. The house was well appointed and perfectly laid out for a family stay. Thank you!

Wow, what an amazing time for our family of two adults and two children! Being at the end of the earth with the wind and the sea, farms and cows to the side- it was just such a beautiful experience that words can't express it. We spent part of the time out exploring the hikes and Portree and part of the time just staying in playing board games and enjoying the house. We would love to return should we visit Scotland again.

A very comfortable property in a special remote location on Skye with stunning views. Not as private as expected - Despite being on the coast with what felt initially like a private area with no other properties needing access, we had visitors using the remote area for water sports. This proves a theory that there is no escape from other human beings!

This is a great place to spend some time getting together with your family and away from the rat race.
The views nd location are second to none if you like water, cliffs, and sunsets.
The inside is really great and get ready to draw straws for the master bedroom as the view is incredible

Tigh Bata was the perfect place to wind down after a long week of traveling through Scotland! The views were unbelievable and beds were very comfortable. Great space for 3 couples. If we ever make it back to Skye, we will certainly stay here again!

Whatever the season or the weather, Tigh Bata is perfect for a relaxing holiday. With nature, wildlife and the sea so close, every day gives a different vista. The comfortable and well equipped house is a perfect home away from home. From the minute you arrive, you feel welcomed and taken care of. So much to see and so much choice of things to do, are the recipe for a perfect, relaxing and rejuvenating break.

Stunning views and location at edge of sea. Some furniture could be upgraded and bathrooms need updating to make it more of a luxury stay but it was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great laundry room and good selection of books and dvds.

Loved the place and its setting
Very nice setting for walks in the surounding area or just to relax on the lovely decking and just be. All worked really well and we had an amazing time with the family. All cooking amenities were there and in great condition (which is not always the case in a rental place). would highly recommend!

Wild and windy
This is a rugged and windswept location! We had a strong wind our first night and it was loud! When it died back a bit it was easier to sleep well. The house is comfortable and warm. The kitchen is well appointed. The woodburner is great and there was plenty of wood. We were a group of 4 couples and the small twin room was definitely the short straw but no complaints. Beds are comfy. There were issues with the patio doors not opening but the weather was wet so we were not too affected.
It’s a good base to explore the north of Skye and we enjoyed our time there.

I’ve traveled many places and this is by far the best property I’ve stayed in. Ben was excellent and responsive. The kitchen was stocked - there was absolutely nothing we needed. Remote location and stupendous views. Everyone in my party wants to return.

Skye Getaway
What a perfect 4 days on Skye. Tigh Bata was beautiful. Couldn’t wait to wake up each day and take in the amazing views from every room in the house! Such a homely and warm home. Also the large laundry room is a huge plus!

The usual excellent service
Just returned from Skye and we had a superb week. The house (Tigh Bata) was stunning and very comfortable. All made easy in terms of booking, check in / out and a minor issue with the dishwasher (machine not me!) was dealt with immediately by Ben. In these challenging times, holidays are even more precious so making things simple and efficient is appreciated so without reservation (excuse the pun!) I / we recommend Skye Serviced Accommodation. Ben, John and the team will look after you.

Stunning view from the moment you wake til sunset. The house is beautifully decorated and allows you to appreciate the land/sea/sky-scape of Skye. A lot of beautiful places to explore in the area. Plenty of bathroom/shower/toilets for a big group. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
