Wonderful property next to everything in Glen Ellen and Valley of the Moon

Stayed for a week for girls wine trip. Can’t wait to return - lovely gardens and beautiful home. Well appointed kitchen. Walking distance to charming town. Pool is wonderful. Thank you for the hospitality!

Where do I begin - this was the most perfect rental ever. The house is absolutely stunning, pristinely clean, spacious, appointed with everything you could possibly need, and beautifully decorated (and with really nice housewares and furniture- not your typical cheap rental things). We cooked a few meals in and it was so nice to have a fully outfitted kitchen and even some nice-to-have decorative pieces that made it feel like a home and our celebration feel special (i.e. charcuterie boards, cloth napkins, placemats, serving platters, etc) The outside was equally (if not more) stunning - the landscaping is an absolute dream - and we even ditched our winery plans one day to take full advantage of the pool. Our group kept saying we felt like we were at a wellness retreat the whole weekend. The location couldn't have been better - a quick walk into Glen Ellen town - we did a bakery visit, grocery run, and evening dinner all on foot. We were also then very centrally located to do winery excursions during the day. We had a relatively easy time getting an Uber to dinner one night, (which I know in some of the less-centrally located parts of Sonoma County can be a challenge) just give yourself a little more wiggle room for the ride to be picked up/arrive than you might be used to in a more urban/suburban location.

This was exactly what we were looking for for our group; each couple had their own suite(bedroom/bath). Really nicely decorated and very clean. We will definitely be back!!

Our stay was perfect! Loved the house and the outside pool area. Couldn’t have asked for anything more (except for maybe one full length mirror!)

Our group was celebrating a 60th birthday and the house and yard provided lots of space for people to both spread out and be together. Kitchen and master bedroom are very spacious and nicely appointed except for the fact that there were no wine glasses, a necessity for most I would think! We loved the yard and pool area although seating was not particularly comfy nor was the living room seating comfortable. Overall a very nice house with lots of interesting books, walkable to town and a gorgeous setting!

This secluded Glen Ellen home is exactly as described and photographed. The home has all modern amenities except air conditioning. Several days were quite hot and only two of the three rooms had an “a/c” fan (the owner should consider adding a third “a/c” fan for the third bedroom). My son with asthma had a flare at the home as we needed to keep all the windows and doors open to allow the cooler night air to flow into the home. The pool is not heated, per se, although our kids didn’t mind as it was pretty hot during the day. The home is set atop a hillside so we saw lots of deer and wild turkeys roaming during our stay. The backyard itself is a sanctuary and offered plenty of relaxation. The town of Glen Ellen is sleepy but has a wonderful grocery store and restaurants that offer carry out if you decide to dine at home. Also the home is well stocked with cleaning and paper supplies so we didn’t need to bring. I would recommend that the home owner replace the towels as they are very dingy, stained and worn. Overall great property and would recommend more for cooler Sonoma months.

The pictures of this property are just amazing...and then you arrive and it's insanely better! We picked this property for the pool and the location being central to almost everything in Sonoma Country. The pool and backyard area are stunning. Such a secret gem. The home is comfortable and spacious with top of the line everything. The location is basically 30 minutes (or less) from Healdsburg, down to Sonoma, over west to Petaluma and Napa (and north) to the east. It's a wonderful home base for a relaxing vacation.

Our 2nd time at this property. Loved it again. No issues, nice sized rooms. Air conditioners in two rooms weee appreciated. Also appreciated the additional umbrella. Love the local market and fig cafe and proximity to sonoma. Next time will visit the local wineries. Perfect for a family of 5, or a group of friends. Will be back again next year!

The backyard pool and landscaping creates the perfect wine country atmosphere to relax and enjoy the company of friends and family. The property is overall kid-friendly, but if you have toddlers you may consider bringing your own plates/cups or disposable items for the trip as dinnerware is really nice Heath ceramic items. Property manager is very responsive.

This contemporary and comfortable home has it all and is perfectly located. The large open spaces and the layout of the bedrooms and accompanying bathrooms is ideal for gathering a group of 6. The bedrooms are well insulated - so not to worry about the snoring in the room next door. The outdoor space has a lot of seating and a great lap pool, resident blue birds and is absolutely beautiful. The grill and all of the kitchen utensils and tools are fabulous (and complete). The shops are within walking distance and the grocery has everything you need; a great meat selection for grilling and a nice veggie selection. Oh, and do not leave Glen Ellen without going to the French bakery La Pascals (Oh my - so good). There are several great restaurants if you don't want to cook. Glen Ellen is located perfectly between all of the winery areas; Yountville, St Helena, Napa, Sonoma and an easy drive to Healdsburg and Calistoga. Without exception, we all absolutely loved this home (and I would say that we have high expectations so believe me - it is fabulous).

Relaxing weekend

Perfect place to celebrate with friends! Gorgeous decor in the perfect location, close to many wineries. Property manager was so helpful and easy to work with!

Wonderful, relaxing stay in a clean, spacious home - perfect for what we were looking for. We got lots of great use of the ping pong table - definitely a plus! And wonderful service from the property manager. Recommend!

Just finished a 2 week stay. Property was great as was the owner Lisille. The town of Glen Ellen is quaint and the area is beautiful. The only negative is the distance from the wineries in Napa valley.

This was the second straight year we visited the property... an absolute 5-star experience yet again in every aspect. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house, responsive & friendly host

We spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful property. It is as comfortable and welcoming as it is stylish and photogenic. We loved the pool, the expansive grounds, the easy walk to the market and French bakery, the pingpong table, the interesting book collection. Beds were super comfortable. House is immaculate and well-maintained. Would love to return!

Lisille, first of all, thank you for being so responsive and professional throughout our entire stay. The property was elegantly put together and it was everything we could have asked for. My family and I will most definitely be visiting again -- 5 star rental without question!

Beautiful, very private, quiet, and definitely "back to nature" yet short walk to cute town. We were visited by deer, wild turkeys, blue jays squirrels, etc. Lovely house, very airy and large open spaces. All bedrooms en suite bathrooms.

The place was even more beautiful than the photos. Lovely secluded feeling location, yet only a few minutes walk from town. The house itself was beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped for cooking etc. We loved it and can’t wait to stay again!

Modern Farm House with all that you need including yoga matts. Kitchen was fully equipped and the towels and sheets were new and great quality. We stayed over thanksgiving and it was cold so pool was not an option but it wasn't heated anyway. A hot tub would have made it even better.
