What an absolute gem! This no-frills spot was quiet with a cute pool by the creek and one of the comfiest hotel beds I’ve ever slept on. It was walking distance from a good amount of restaurants and wineries and a market. I’d you wanted to drive to bigger Sonoma county towns you could, but Glen Ellen was a fun spot to explore on foot! My partner and I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend here, and the staff was super nice. We’re definitely coming back!

Lodge was Clean & we loved that a wonderful, not overly expensive, restaurant was a parking lot away. The pool and hot tub were clean, the town is quaint and adorable!

We stayed for two nights, Glen Ellen is a nice quiet friendly town, The Jack London Lodge is an unpretentious, clean, quiet motel-style place, has a nice pool & grounds, ample parking, the units are very spacious, large vanity, etc. Only possible criticism would be the bathroom is a little dated and the mattress was super soft, not to our liking but you cant please everyone. Around the Lodge is the Jack London Saloon (best calamari hands down) with a good beer and food menu, we were lucky to catch live music and see a great community have fun. A little market store accross has everything you might need and also has a hot deli if budget is key. Easy walking are wine tasting rooms, a Michelin star restaurant with very reasonable prices, and a true French Patisserie and coffee place. Two minutes drive and you have Benziger Vinyard. So glad we stayed here and will be back for sure.

Just a beautiful getaway

Perfect hotel, intimate, restaurant on site. Walkable restaurants and grocery store. Centrally located to visit wine country.

For the price I would have expected much more. Nice pool and location but the rooms are dated, paint chipping off the walls in multiple places, fan was being held in place with cotton balls, towels are dated. They definitely rely on their location as the selling point.

Cozy Inn tucked in Glen Ellen. Great restaurants near by and lovely staff.

Older lodge with a pool . very nice staff Saloon next door and 2 really great restaurants right down the street. And a great coffee /pastry shop across the street.

Rooms are dated but very quiet. King bed was very comfortable. Pool and hottub are in a very nice setting next to the creek. A very relaxing stay.

The Jack London Lodge was an amazing place to stay. We especially loved it's location, the landscaping, the pool and hot tub. At many properties where there is a pool we don't actually go in it. But at Jack London Lodge we do every time and love it.

Ok place but way overpriced!

What a nice place to stay. Super clean, friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub. Beautiful location. My only negative comment is that the gate to the pool is very difficult to open.

Great place to stay for the money - has a nice pool that we didn't use this visit but will next time. Like that is has the Saloon that is open late for food, drinks. Everyone very nice.

Wonderful location, great stay

I would stay here again. It had been about 6 years since our last stay. I just noticed a few things that could be touched up.doorway insulation, paint at baseboards in bathroom, door lock/handle was difficult to open.. replacement needed. Grounds and pool are very nice and maintained. And our room was overall clean. Our small refrigerator didn’t work real well.. could have been colder. A microwave would be nice too.

The Jack London Lodge is very basic, with mid-fifties decor and minimal furnishing in rooms. However, it was very clean and comfortable, and the bed was high quality.

Great place in Glen Ellen. Really close to the French bakery, the Glen Ellen Market, etc. Just down the hill from Jack London State Park.

Perfect location for wine tasting and so close to restaurants, a patisserie for coffee and excellent grilled sandwiches at Glen Ellen Market. Beautiful location on a small creek with a pool and hot tub. Will definitely come back to stay in the room we had which had an updated bathroom and very comfortable bed. Wish the window could open.

Clean place, comfortable beds, average older rooms. Nothing fancy. Nice walk ability to small, quaint town.

Had such a great time in Glen Ellen. Highly recommend.
